it was the year 1974. my dad had just ran out on my mom and i. our house was going to foreclose, so my grandpa on my moms side gave my dad money so he could put it on the house, but he didn't. he spent it on drugs instead, causing our house to go into foreclosure, forcing us to move away. we moved to downey california to a small two bedroom apartment on the corner of fifth street. it sucked. it had peeling wallpaper and stained carpet. we only lived there for two months until my grandpa passed away, and we inherited a large sum of money from him, being that my mom and aunt were his only children, so we were able to afford a nice two story house, and that house just so happened to be right next to the blond boy's house.
