"Ace is right." Riddle smiled at Ace,
"Houswarden Riddle!" Ace smacked back, for once he was happy to see him.
"Oh hey, Room and Epel are back too!" Grim flew over to them,
"Do you two have any idea how late you are?" Vil frowned at their poor etiquette,
"My apologies, Vil. I found myself lost so often without you to light my way." Rook sugarcoated to truth juuust a bit.
"What? I thought you were busting up ghost with giddy abandon." Epel was slightly confused,
"Houswarden, you've come to save us! I can't thank you en—" Deuce was beaming with delight, until he got interrupted.
"CATER. What time is it?" Riddle suddenly asked a questioned that Bloomberg across the room,
"Huh? Uhh... 11:35, according to the clock." Cater answered, a bit confused,
"We have less than half an hour before the date changes. Let's dispatch these ghosts posthaste!" Riddle stated, he was getting ready to rush through all of this.
"Wait, why are you asking? What's going on?" He was so confused... Sadly, his question went unanswered.
"All right! Team Tux is reunited and back in action! You ghosts might as well pack it in now. It's way past time you released (Y/N)!" Ace smirked,
"But..." Nana and Grampy were a bit reluctant at first,
"You can still start over. After all, you wouldn't want your dear mademoiselle to become an evil ghost who kills people, would you?" Rook asked,
"......" They stayed silent,
"Excuse me? Are you calling me an evil ghost? I... I'm not trying to be evil! I just—" Eliza closed her eyes in despair, she didn't want to be the villain. This was supposed to be her fairytale where she was the princess who found her prince, she wasn't supposed to be evil...
"Don't listen to everything they say, Your Higness." Puffy stated, his lips curved into a smile, "You've done nothing wrong."He reassured her,
"Puffy..." Something sparked in Eliza's eyes as she realized something...
"Dude, did you hear what I said about enabling?" Ace frowned, they didn't listen to him!
"Can't you see you're doing something wrong?" Epel pouted, how could they be so dense!
"Puffy it's not too late to confess! You know what I'm talking about! Please, don't let her do something she and you will regret!" (Y/N) tried to get through to him, and for a moment, she did. But it didn't work,
"I don't care if it's wrong or if I regret it. I want Her Higness to be happy. I'd take on the whole world to make that happen. That's MY lingering attachment! MY wish!" Suddenly, Puffy started to grow, and grow and grow!
"Not another overblot..." (Y/N) whispered, hopefully it wasn't ANOTHER overblot...
"Wha... Wha... What in the world?! The big one's gettin' even bigger!" Grim ran back, he was terrified,
"He's manifesting five centuries' worth of attachment at once!" Riddle stepped back,
"I sense a power within him that dwarfs all the the other ghosts. We can't stay here. Everyone, get behind us!" Rook yelled, forgetting that they couldn't move.
"Did you miss the part where none of us can move?" Vil questioned,
"Ah, yes, quite. In that case... Epel, Ace. Move these glorified logs to a corner of the cafeteria!" Rook entirely switched from his other personality, he was now focused on protecting everyone and protecting everyone alone.
"Understood!" Epel shouted with determination,
"Hey! Who're you callin' a log?" Leona snapped back,
"Insolent human! I am a retainer to the great and powerful Malleus! Nobody rolls me around!" Sebek protested,
"Look man, either this or be killed so deal with it!" Ace yelled back,
A bit of rolling around and everyone was out of the way, "Has everyone been moved to safety?" Riddle asked,
""Yes, we're good to go!" Epel stated,
"You're really set on causin' trouble, huh? Let's get this fight banged out—and by that, I mean clobber this guy!" Ace prepared himself for battle,
"I will protect the princess... to the very last!" Puffy screamed out,
"You really won't listen to reason will you... Alright, you got this guys!" (Y/N) cheered for them,

After a long battle, they finally did it, "Whew, finally got 'em! Take THAT!" Ace cheered out,
"Woohoo! That's how it done!" Grim and Ace high-fived each other. (Fun story: I was sick when I wrote this and I completely forgot what the word high five was so I had to ask everyone in my house 'what the word was for when two peoples hand hit each other.' Life is great.)
"Oh no! Noooo!" Eliza flew as fast as she could to Puffy's side,
"There are no more guards. We should be able to get the Circle of Severance on her now." Riddle had a hollow smile on his face,
"Let's finish this before she blows a gasket!" Epel stated as they rushed over to her,
"No, no, no..." Eliza looked like she was ready to cry,
"Any last words? You can say goodbye to your precious (Y/N) if you—" Ace joked around in a teasing manner,
"PUFFY!" Eliza yelled out,
"Huh?" The boys were all confused, (Y/N) however, just smiled brightly.
"Oh, Puffy... How could this happen?!" She moved closer to him, "You took a beating defending me from those villains!!"
"Wait, you're calling US villains?!" Ace was shocked that she thought THEY were the villains,
"Don't be sad, Princess. I always feel happy when you smile." Puffy smiled,
"Puffy? Why are you fading away?" Eliza's eyes widened in surprise, he was dying as a ghost?
"I fear I exhausted all my energy in that fight. Your Higness... I hope you'll always have a reason to smile. I wish good fortune upon you. May you live happily ever after with your prince..." Before Puffy faded away, he looked at (Y/N) as she smiled and nodded at him, almost like a little shove, "...I love you..." And with that, he only had a few seconds left,
"No... No, don't leave me! Your support is what carried me through all the hard times and helped me follow my dream! I need you! I-I..." She started to cry as she realized her feelings for Puffy,
"Princess..." Puffy was touched by her words, even if he was going to fade away, her words were all he needed to rest in peace.
"I-I've finally figured it out... My real prince... It's you Puffy! I-I love you Puffy! A smile bloomed on her face,
"What?!" All the boys were shocked once again, this was too much for them, (Y/N) felt her heart melt at this scene, it was one of the most beautifully emotional scenes she'd ever been a part of.
"Princess... No, Eliza. You've always been the only one in my heart, every since we were alive." Puffy smiled, bigger than he ever did before,
"Oh, Puffy. I love you..." She kissed him and suddenly, he started to reappear,
"Hm? My injuries are healing!" Puffy looked at himself,
"It must be the power of love." (Y/N) said, "You've been saved by a true love's kiss!" She beamed,
"W-Wha?! (Y/N), you believe in that stuff?!" Ace looked shocked,
"Of course! Didn't you just see what happened?" (Y/N) she looked at him,
"Huzzah! What wonderful tidings!" The ghosts danced around in glee,
"What just happened..? Am I the only one having trouble keeping up?" Ace looked around,
"They're clearly painting us as the bad guys..." Riddle sighed,
Eliza turned to (Y/N), "(Y/N), dear?" She asked,
"Yeah?"
"I'm so sorry!" She broke out into a tearful apology, "I'm afraid I cannot return your affection for me. I feel terrible, truly... It's not you, it's me. You're a dreamboat, you really are ! I'm sure that one of these days, you'll find someone even better than me. Same goes for you, Idia." With a heartfelt apology, she turned to everyone, "Listen up, everyone! I have an announcement to make! I have found my true soulmate. I'm going to marry Puffy!"
"Congratulations!" The ghosts plus (Y/N) cheered and congratulated the newly weds.
"I've never felt so overjoyed! Not even when I was alive! Three cheers for Princess Eliza and Prince Puffy! Hip hip hurrah!" They ghosts cheered once more.
In the excitement, Crowley and Ortho found their way in the cafeteria. "Ahh, a true love found, ending 500 years of despair! What a touching scene. At the end of the day, you can't expect someone to accept a proposal if they don't love you! Love will always be the key ingredient." Crowley monologued, however no one listened.
"IDIAAA! I'm so glad you're okay!" Ortho flew over as fast as he could hugged him,
"Uh... Yeah, I'm safe... Sure... I mean, it's cool, but she didn't really expect me or (Y/N) to marry her, right? That's a huge imposition. It's all good, just... y'know. Right? Why do I feel like I'm the one who got dumped twice?!" Idia cried out,
"Worry not, Idia. Surely someone wonderful awaits you in the future. Have a good cry tonight, and you'll start afresh tomorrow." Rook attempts to reassure Idia. It fails!
"Dude, PLEASE quit it with the sappy pep talk." Idia attempts to flee this awkward situation but he is still tied up in Ortho's hug.
In the corner of the cafeteria, "Gracious. What a fine mess that was." Lilia sighed,
"At least now we can finally move." Azul said whilst moving his fingers.
"Everyone's cheeks ok?" (Y/N) laughed out,
"Don't remind me of that!" Vil yelled out, he had trauma.
"Ah, right! Are you okay (Y/N)? You're not hurt are you?" Deuce asked, he was the only one that did that night.
"Yeah, don't worry about me, I don't think I've ever been happier!" She beamed and looked at Puffy and Eliza.
"Ace, you really outdid yourself back there." Trey smiled as he took some time to readjust to moving.
"Heh heh. That's right, you should be grateful. Especially since I had to make up for your terribad singing!" Ace tried to hold back a laugh,
"Please, forget that ever happened." Trey looked away and sighed,
"Epel. You went up against that huge ghost and didn't even flinch. That takes guts. I haven't been giving you enough credit!" Jack did a little fist pump while he complimented Epel,
"Jack, you're embarrassing me." Epel shyly tucked his hands behind his back,
"Oh, am I? Sorry." Jack apologized,
"It was still nice, though. Thank you!" Epel smiled,
"Thanks to your quick thinking, Rook, no one else was hurt during the fight. I applaud your presence of mind." Jade smiled somewhat mischievously at Rook,
"Ah, Monsieur Prémédité! You would have undoubtedly done the same, were you in me shoes." Rook tried to return the compliment,
Azul stepped in, "No, Jade would've simply looked on and chuckled."
"Interesting. I suppose there is also beauty in leaving matters to fate." Nevertheless, Rook still tried to return the compliment,
"You're one powerful goldfishie! Seein' all that got me in the mood to throw down. C'mon, punch me a little." Floyd looked down playfully at Riddle,
"This is not the time nor the place!" Riddle objected,
"Aww, lame." Aaand Floyd lost interest...
"Cater, let's get you back to the dorm!" Riddle hurriedly rushed over to Cater,
"Why me?" Cater asked,
"You took second place in the croquet tournament yesterday! If you don't serve me tea before the day is out, you'll violate rule 703!" Riddle explained while dragging Cater to the door,
"......Wait, that's a rule?!" Cater was surprised and confused, "No wonder you were so obsessed with the time. Talk about fastidious! Well, since you did save me and all, let's hustle back to the dorm!" And the ran away.
"If I may say something to all of you... I want to apologize for the trouble we put you through. And a special thanks to Princess (Y/N) for helping me give the final push I needed." Puffy started a little toast,
"At least you helped me find my true love. I'm very grateful to you all!" Eliza smiled and waved,
"Seriously, what a buncha troublemakers." Ace sighed, (Says you Ace!) "But hey, all's well that ends well. We don't have to force this ring on your finger now." Ace said, he felt a bit of relief knowing that he didn't kill anyone, even just a ghost.
"Yes. We're going to take our honeymoon now, completely regret-free." Eliza and Puffy already planned their honeymoon!
"Then things'll finally be back to normal!" Ortho cheered,
"Uggggh, this sucks. I hate it here. I'm gonna have phasmophobia for ages." Idia sighed and silently cried,
"We can hang out more often if you want." (Y/N) appeared behind him, trying to comfort him.
"I'm so embarrassed... You're seeing me in this state, in a wedding dress! What could possibly be worse..." Idia's cheeks turned ever so slightly red,
"I'll be sure to pop by for a visit next year and give you an update!" Eliza smiled,
"JUST STAY GONE!" The boys cried out,
"Oh and one more thing!" Eliza threw a bouquet of flowers, "Guess who caught it~" She sang out,
"Oh no..." (Y/N) caught it, because it was aimed right towards her! Her face turned red, same with the boys. And with that, all the ghosts disappeared, all but two. But we'll get to that later,
"My, my. What an eventful day this has been. There were many twists and turns, but everything's over and done with now, so we can put this whole thing behind us—" Crowley was interrupted,
"Come on Headmage, isn't there a much more fitting closing line that you can think of?" (Y/N) asked,
"Ah! Yes, I suppose you're right. Ahem... And so the prince and princess lived happily ever after. The End"

Epilogue:
Wait... why are there still two ghosts here?! They've come to find (Y/N) a worthy suitor! What will happen next as they gather every one in the cafeteria?
We're finally done with the main story! I'm not done yet though, I still have a mini after story and some vignettes that I need to finish before I move on. Stay tuned!
