Se'Kani POV
I woke up at 10:30 a.m and started my morning routine.
It was the day before Sincere and Ren's and the day of Polo g concert.
I had made her a hair and nail appointment for today and I was gon take her shoppin.
Once I got myself together I headed to my momma crib to pick up Mari then headed to Sincere's place.
"Who is it and what the fuck you want"?
I heard Rese say on the other side.
"Da da, he say bad word".
"He did didn't he"?
A few seconds later he opened the door and dapped me up before givin Mari a hug.
"Where yo sister"?
"In her room".
I walked to her room and knocked hearin Ren gigglin.
"Come in".
"Sani! Mari"!
Ren yelled jumpin off the bed and ran to us.
I put her down so she could give her a hug then they ran off.
"Hey Kani".
"Wassup, go get Ren and yoself ready".
"Why"?
"I'm takin you to get yo hair and nails done".
"I'm ok, thank you though".
"Girl getcho ass up, that wasn't a question".
"Rude".
Her ass got up anyway.

"Ooh, I want purple"!
"I want pink"!
Ren and Mari yelled lookin at all the nail polish.
"The babies want pink and purple nail, they get nail color"?
"Yes ma'am".
I said to the lady that came from the back.
Sincere POV
I watched as Se'Kani sat wit the girls while they got their nails painted unaware of the huge smile on my face.
"Husband handsome, very beautiful family".
"Oh, no ma'am. He's not my husband".
"Boyfriend"?
"No, just a friend".
"No friend, you make googly eyes at him".
"You make him boyfriend and you do it now".
I couldn't do nothin but smile.
"I'm actually only 17, he's 21".
"Oou, when your birthday"?
"Tomorrow actually".
"Ok, you make him boyfriend tomorrow".
I just laughed and let her finish working.
Once they girls were done they sat next to me playing on their iPads.
Kani came over to look at my nails and got the lady started up again.
"You very handsome man, beautiful kids".
"You make her girlfriend tomorrow but not today, she say she 17, 18 tomorrow".
He busted out laughin and looked at me.
"This what y'all do when y'all get y'all nails did"?
"Pretty much".
"Imma take you shoppin after yo hair appointment and I need you dressed and ready yo go by 8".
"You don't need to do allat for me".
"But I am".
"You make good husband where I come from, you pay for everything".
"Thank you ma'am, eventually".
He smiled at me before takin his seat.

He dropped the kids off at Ms.Lee's before we headed home.
As soon as we made it he told me to go get ready.
I pinned my curls so they wouldn't fall and started the shower.
I hooked up my speaker playing Sabrina Claudio before hopping in.
I did a quick 15 minute wash before getting out to brush my teeth.
It was almost 7 so I had to hurry and start my makeup.
"Sin".
"Yeah".
"You decent"?
"Yeah, you can come in".
I said tightening my robe.
"Wassup"?
"Just bored waitin for yo ass".
"I'm just doin something light so it won't take too long".
"And are we gon get somethin to eat? I'm hungry".
"Yeah, we'll stop on the way there".
He said sitting on the counter just watching me wit a faint smile.
"Stop Se'Kani".
"I ain't did shit".
I was low key blushing from the way he was looking at me but I tried to hide it.
"You look beautiful even wit a bare face, and you got a pretty smile".

"Where we goin anyway"?
I asked tryna keep my composure.
"You'll see, just hurry up".
He got down and kissed my cheek before walking out.

I was done wit my hair and makeup and was finna put on the outfit I chose.
I admired my look in the mirror and took a few pictures to post later.

I grabbed everything I needed and headed to the living room were Se'Kani.
He was on the phone wit Shawn but looked up once he noticed me.
"Hey Shawn".
"Wassup lil sis, have fun tonight".
"I'll fuck wit y'all later, pussy callin me".
He smiled in the camera before hanging up.
Se'Kani POV
"I'm ready".
She said fixin her hair.
"No you not".
"You ain't goin nowhere lookin like that, go change".
"I'm not changing, and lookin like what"?
"Like a hoochie mama, gotcho coochie hangin all out yo shorts n shorts. Hell nah".
She looked at me like I was crazy.
"What the hell is wrong witchu? That was so rude".
"No, it was the truth. Go change".
"I appreciate today but ion even wanna go out nomo".
She gave me the stank face and took off her shoes gettin ready to go back to her room.
"Bruh come on, we gon be late".
"You can go by yoself, bye".
"It's not that serious, just go change".
"You sound stupid as fuck right now Kani".
"You just called me a hoochie mama then proceeded to tell me 'it's not that serious, go change".
"Cus it ain't, but you don't need to be all out like that either".
"You just can't do no wrong in yo eyes huh"?
"What is you talkin about? I'm tryna do somethin nice for yo birthday but you sittin here tryna argue".
She looked at me as if I just told her I was finna kill her baby.
"Don't do that Se'Kani".
"Don't make it seem like I'm bein ungrateful, I told you multiple times today that I appreciated this, please don't do that".
"Why we even arguin right now Sincere"?
"You just called me a hoochie, I would appreciate an apology".
"Mmtch, I apologize for sayin you look like a hoochie".
"Fake ass apology".
"Can you put yo shit back on so we can go"?
She pushed past me and grabbed her earrings of her dresser before heading back to the living room.
