𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐔𝐏 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐊𝐖𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐄, Seraphina Denoire was quick to wave over to the Mayor who she'd met a few times at a few different functions.
"Good afternoon, Mayor Lockwood." Seraphina spoke to the man with a small smile on her face, hearing his name the Mayor was quick to walk over to them.
The man watched the girl grow up and was stunned as he walked over, Seraphina was a sight to behold as she stood at the door.
The light hit her back at the most amazing position, causing a soft halo to come over her head, the white of her dress lightening causing her to look like an angel.
Honestly, the man nearly had a heart attack just looking at her.
"Little Seraphina," Mayor Lockwood spoke in shock holding his chest as he walked over to them, stopping them at the door before Seraphina could walk in. "as I leave in breathe."
"It's very nice to see you again." Seraphina said with a small giggle as she was used to the man's reaction to seeing her, he was her very own confidence boost.
"You too," Mayor Lockwood said letting out a little chuckle as he noticed the soft smile on her face before he realized he was holding them up. "well don't just stand there you two, come on in."
"Thank you," Seraphina said once again as the two stepped over the boundary of the house, neither the Mayor nor Seraphina noticing the relieved look on Stefan's face. "this is my boyfriend Stefan by the way."
"Stefan, very nice to meet you," Mayor Lockwood said as he held out his hand, quick to shake Stefan's hand in respect for Seraphina. "I want you two to have fun now."
"We will sir." Stefan said nodding his head as the two let go of each other's hand before the man walked off to do other mayor-ly things.

𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐀𝐓 𝐀 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐅𝐔𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐊𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄, Seraphina couldn't help but marvel at the piece as she twirled her necklace.
She was completely transfixed by its beauty, but somehow no matter how she thought of it she knew that if given a chance she would never trade her own for it.
Seeing his girl staring down at the necklace, Stefan softly walked up behind her gliding his hand down her back to let her know that he was there.
Before he started looking at the necklace himself, his eyes quickly landed on the small note card above the necklace '𝑶𝒏 𝑳𝒐𝒂𝒏 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝑭𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚'.
"I didn't know you're family was a part of the founding families." He spoke in confusion as he looked at the note, before glancing over to his girl.
"Probably because we aren't." Seraphina giggled with a small shrug, rolling her eyes and shaking her head at the beautiful necklace and the note card.
"Then the necklace is?" Stefan asked without many words, pointing over towards the necklace and note as he looked at Seraphina with his eyebrows furrowed.
"I told you my Mom pays for a few things in town," Seraphina shrugged softly as she looked down at the necklace, a small snort leaving her mouth. "we're like an honorary founding family."
Although the girl knew that wasn't the answer Stefan wanted or one that would explain the reason why their family's item was in the Founding Family's function collection.
"This necklace, in particular, was bought by my like great-great-grandmother one of the diamonds where placed by a person that lived here," Seraphina explained further, clearly stating the reason the Mayor had asked them for the item. "it's worth like a few million I think."
Although Seraphina's knowledge of how her family had gotten the necklace was a bit flawed it was her mother that had gotten the necklace all those years ago.
Or at least she'd gotten the diamonds from over the years as gifts from Seraphina's father, all of which were given to him by the dwarf people as he brought peace among the realms.
"Millions?" Stefan asked shocked as his eyes bulged looking at the necklace, not registering his tone Seraphina only shrugged again.
"Yeah, but that's mostly historical value," Seraphina spoke not caring for the necklace, only laying her hands on top of Stefan's that sat around her waist. "which is why it's a part of this whole function."
"No pressure on my future plans for gifts for you." Stefan said teasingly as he realized just how much money his girlfriend had, although his words caused Seraphina's eyes to widen.
"No, no, no," Seraphina whined as she turned around in his arms, a soft pout on her lips as she looked up at him. "I love gifts, there's no pressure at all keep 'em coming."
Hearing her words, Stefan couldn't help but laugh under his breath at her admitting her love for gifts, those of which he would make sure to bring her frequently.
"Okay," Stefan said nodding his head as he looked down at her, loving the way her bottom lip poked out so softly as she pouted. "only because you're adorable when you pout."
With that the boy slowly lent down, laying a soft kiss on Seraphina's lips causing her to raise her arms around his neck before the two broke away.
"And when I don't?" Seraphina asked as she opened her eyes from the soft kiss, the girl loving the floating feeling she developed when they kissed.
"In my eyes, you're always adorable." Stefan was quick to answer, laying one more kiss on her lips as he knew that was what she'd want without her saying so.
"Good." Seraphina said as they broke apart for the second time, she was starting to fall for Stefan and there was no stopping her.

As she looked at the names, a bright smile was quick to come over Seraphina's face as she turned to her side to see Stefan looking at another random item.
"Stefan, Stefan," She called for the boy motioning for him to come over with her hands, causing him to smile at her excited attitude. "look it's the original guest registry."
Stefan's face dropped, he was trying to hold it together as he realized that he and his family had signed that registry all those years ago, but his face dropped.
Right as Seraphina turned towards him, causing her eyebrows furrowed as she noticed the scared look on his face before she could even finish her words.
"And look who's names I found." She spoke hesitantly as she was confused by the look on her face, only glancing between him and the registry.
Usually, she wouldn't have cared about it, honestly, at first, she just believed that he was probably named after those ancestors along with Damon.
But with everything that was going on, the words Elena kept spouting in her ears along with Bonnie, Seraphina was slowly starting to realize something wasn't right.
"The original Salvatore Brothers," Damon's voice was suddenly heard from behind them, causing the two to quickly turn around. "our ancestors, tragic story actually."
Looking at Seraphina, that feeling that something was off didn't leave, it was almost weird that he popped up at the exact moment.
Things weren't adding up in Seraphina's head.
"We don't need to bore them with stories of the past." Stefan quickly tried to change the subject as he gently put his arm around Seraphina's shoulder, his eyes subtly glaring at his older brother.
"Yeah, I think there's enough history around us," Seraphina spoke agreeing with her boyfriend, sliding her arm around his back. "there's only so much I can handle."
Seeing the joking look on Damon's face, the man once again looked the girl up and down, he was growing more entranced by the girl's attitude and reaction to things.
He honestly expected her to be more spooked by their names than she was, at least more than she was showing to them.
"Same," Caroline agreed with Seraphina, causing everyone to turn toward her. "I want to dance, and Damon won't dance with me."
Glancing over at Damon, Seraphina watched for his reaction expecting him to tease the girl or claim he couldn't but he only hummed and shook his head.
"Could I just borrow your date?" Caroline asked widening her big blue eyes, causing Seraphina to stutter as she looked at her innocent expression.
