Melissa's pov:
"Melissa?" mom knocks on my bedroom door before walking in.
Dad also walks in and sits on the bed as I get up and sit next to him.
"good morning..." I say to dad.
"morning my child."
"what's wrong? Why do you guys look so worried?" I ask them as they look at each other then back at me.
"well, we've decided to start looking for your sister Lisa." mom answers as she sighs deeply.
"really?!" I say with a huge grin on my face.
I can't wait for that day when I'll finally meet my sister.
"yes we can't just sit here and do nothing."
"uh, don't you know the people who took her?"
"it's been so long Melissa, the time we went to their house to visit Lisa, we only found an empty mansion and the guards never allowed us to go in. We don't know where they live now." dad answers.
"we tried everything Melissa, it's really bad that we had no chance of meeting your sister again... The people who took her are very wealthy and influential." mom added.
"but what are you planning to do?"
"we'll go to the police station."
"okay, please inform me."
They only nod their heads and walk out of my room.
I groan as I remember that I have to get to the office now.

I walk in the office as I find my boss sitting in his rolling chair with his eyes closed. I don't get it why he's so early. Always.
"good morning sir..." I greet him, he opens his eyes but he doesn't say anything.
He's so rude!
I start walking to the direction of my desk.
"why have you come late?" I stop walking then face him.
"I'm not late sir, you're the one who came early."
Seriously, it's very difficult to understand this man.
"I don't like it when someone is arguing with me Melissa."
"look sir, you're the one who came early today." I roll my eyes.
"you should be here before I arrive, I should be finding you in the office every single time. If it means sleeping in the office then you'll be spending every night in this office." he says pointing his index finger at me.
I even wonder why I had to meet this good for nothing boss.
Does he really expect me to be spending my precious time in this office?
Trust me, one day I'll make him come to his senses.
"excuse me sir but I think you need help, I think you need to undergo some sort of drug therapy."
He flushes with anger as I just look straight into his beautiful black eyes and cross my arms.

Oh I think I also need to see a therapist.
"be careful with your words or else I'll make sure you never see another day!"
"you don't own my life okay?"
"you were busy having dinner with your boyfriend last night and forgot about work!"
OMG! He must be talking about Micheal.
"oh my goodness boss, you were stalking me the whole night!" I chuckle as he just stares at me.
"get back to work." he says looking at his computer.
"one more thing boss, he's not my boyfriend."

Yes, I'm here for the job but again how can I live without friends?
I only had Stacy and now she is just a fake friend. Micheal? Yes he is my friend, but a friend who likes me.
Friends...
But how am I going to do that when my boss don't even allow me to have lunch in the canteen?

"ma'am, you should meet some of our new models." Kelvin says after entering the office.
"Kelvin, you're disturbing me can't you see?" I say to him.
"but ma'am..."
"don't call me ma'am Kelvin." I say as I grit my teeth.
It's pretty annoying, it makes me feel super...
Old! When I'm only 22 years old.
Oh yeah, about to turn 23 in a month.
"okay miss Trina." he smiles.
I hear someone knocking on the door, Kelvin opens the door and the security guard walks in with flowers in his hands.
"ma'am... For you." he says as he puts the flowers on the table.
"for me? Alright you can leave now."
...
"oh my boss is finally in love after so many breakups!" Kelvin says as he was trying very hard to suppress his laughter.
I mean, what's so funny about all this?
"leave." I say to him.
"what? You mean-" he points at the door and himself.
"leave, that means leave my office now."
"y-yes, ma'am." he departs from the office.
Who could have sent the flowers?
I keep thinking until only one name comes to my mind...

I get the flowers and read the note.
