"You witch, why can't you watch where you're going," Liam cursed under his breath as he managed to pry himself off the floor.

"How is this my fault? You bumped into me without minding your way." I stood up, dusting off the pieces of the contents.

Liam's hands balled into fists as if he's about to smack me, but Tony held him back. Staring at me with rage, he slapped Tony's hands and walked away.

"Stop trying to get on Liam's nerves, Zoey. That guy can do shit," Tony said, giving a shrug before following Liam.

CAROLINE AND I SAT on the bleachers, sipping out of cold smoothies. "Did anything happen between you and that jackass freak again?" she asked.

"Which jackass?" I asked, pretending not to know. "I mean, this school is filled up with tons of Jacky asses."

She rolled her eyes heavenward. "Liam. I hate to mention his name."

"Oh, nope. The fool just keeps bumping into me." I took a sip. "Did that shit say something to you?"

Caroline shook her head softly. "No, nothing. I overheard him plotting something with his friends, more like revenge."

"There's nothing that toothpick can do to me." I waved it off and took another sip.

Caroline waved her hands close to my face."Guess what I saw on my way here?" She took a sip happily.

I rolled my eyes, expecting her to say something weird. Probably about Liam, or Gemma. I shrugged it off because I could tell she was still going on about the story she saw. "What?" I asked instead.

"I saw Trina crying her eyes out in the restroom, I'm sure her dad is cutting off her allowance for months cause of what she did." She smiled wickedly. Her hair fell perfectly over her forehead and into her face as she made some crazy hand signs. "she'll surely learn how to behave this time."

I sighed. "I feel bad for her though, I frustrated her dream with just words and she decided to get revenge." Shrugging my shoulder I relaxed my arms on the bleachers looking up to the sky.

The next day as soon as I took a step into the hallway, I came across Liam. He was walking toward a locker, and he slammed his hand against it. His head snapped in my direction with a wild grin, and he walked further to me. He crossed his arms, glaring at me. "If I were you, I wouldn't have come to school today," Liam whispered so only the two of us could hear him. Then he turned around and disappeared down the hall.

"Was that supposed to be a threat?" I yelled after him. No answer. "I'm not scared of you, Liam." Another few minutes, he appeared again, leaning on the wall in front of his locker.

"You sound brave, but you're damn scared," Liam scoffed as he turned his back at me to go back inside. It pissed me off more.

I rolled my eyes, placing my hands on my hips. "Now you feel like you can tell my feelings, Freak show," I spat and stomped past him. If looks could kill, I would've been dead by now.

After my second class, it dawned on me that Liam didn't just say those things, he meant them. I wish I hadn't come to school, I wish I didn't exist. As I walked out of the class, I was stopped by Caroline, who was crying her blue eyes out. "Zoey!" She screamed angrily. "I thought we were friends!"

"What the hell happened to you?" I asked in disgust.

She brought out her phone and shoved it at my face. "You were the only one I told about it," she sniffled.

I took my time to read the first heading in the school blog.

Caroline Logan is a slut, she's been sleeping with older men. She slept with Mr. Collen just to keep her grade up.

My heart clenched; I couldn't believe what was happening. I could remember vividly, I never told anyone anything about Caroline's secrets. "I didn't write this, I swear. I never discussed anything about my friends with anyone; you know I can't do such."

Caroline stared at me like she could stab me straight through my heart with those big watery blue eyes. "I should have known better, that you were nothing more than a bad bitch who doesn't care about anyone other than herself."

Trying not to tear up and create a much bigger scene than the one she's already creating, "I didn't tell anyone about that, I swear. I wasn't the only one you told; Betty was there too. Have you asked her?"

She nudged my shoulder as she walked past me, furiously. "Don't you ever talk to me again. You ruined me. I can't even stand to see you, monster." With that, she left.

My heart shattered like glass; it felt like my world came crashing down on me. I felt like the most terrible person in the world. Even though I didn't do anything, who could have done such a thing? Could it be Betty? Or did someone eavesdrop on our conversation?

These questions kept lingering in my mind as I walked down the hallway. The tension in the hallway was weird; everyone was staring at me with the urge to do something bad.

Was everyone talking about what I did? What did I do?

The stares hurt like a thousand tiny needles piercing my flesh every time I turned around. I started to feel uneasy as I walked down the hallway to my locker, which happened to be next door. When I got to my locker, I opened it and pulled the books out of my bag.

As I stuffed all the books inside, I saw Betty walking my direction; she looked like she'd been hit. Her brown hair stuck out wildly like a mop. Tears streamed down her cheeks as her mascara ran.

"Betty, are you alright?" I asked, holding her hand. Without a word, she slapped my hand away. With her eyes watering and more tears, I grabbed her wrist and turned her around to face me. "Tell me what's wrong." My voice softened as I pleaded for an answer. Betty pulled herself free and walked away from me. I called her name, but she ignored me.

I slammed the locker shut, feeling frustrated. I was finding it difficult to understand what was happening, but when I saw Liam leading a group of angry students my way, that was when I knew the whole thing. I've been framed.

I took a brave step toward him, trying to act like I wasn't scared, but deep down I was. The bunch of students behind him stood when they saw me walking their way, including Liam. When I got to where Liam was standing, I raised my hand to slap him, but he caught my hand.

"Why do you want to hit me?" He asked, innocently. "You're a witch, who wouldn't believe you did it."

"Did what?" I asked, confused.

He laughed as he shoved his hand into his brown hair, I don't know why he did that. Did he expect me to fall for that? Liam's expression changed from innocent and clueless to full on anger.

"You know exactly what I am talking about," Liam growled, pulling himself closer to me. "Don't play dumb, Zoey. How could you, don't you have feelings?"

He stepped away from me, making me gasp loudly and clutch my chest in pain. "What?" My voice broke.

"I hate you, Zoey!" Daphne shouted from the other side of the hallway, running my direction. The rest of the student behind joined her, they all pounds on me hitting me. I tripped and fell to the ground, I could see Liam in the mist of them smiling wildly.

I managed to pry myself off the floor, my uncoordinated steps took me down the hallway. I started running taking any corner I could find in the hallway, but it turned out that Daphne knew every corner. Liam was leading this furious group along with his assistance. Daphne.

I bumped into Mrs Lanai on the way, we both almost fell. "What's wrong? Zoey. What's chasing you?" She asked, but when she saw Liam and his group. Her jaw dropped.

"What's the meaning of this commotion?" Mrs Lanai asked. While she was distracting them with her questions, I pushed open the nearest door, ran into it and shut it. Breathing heavily, it came to my realization that I was in a janitor closet.

Alone in the dimly lit janitor's closet, I huddled in a corner, my head bowed low and tears streaming down my face. My once crisp shirt now clung to my skin, drenched with sorrow, while my pants bore the marks of the dusty floor. A faint beam of light crept in from the hallway, casting a fleeting glow upon the cluttered space, revealing fragments of the room. Through a small crack beside the door, I glimpsed the shadows of passing students, led by Liam, their voices echoing faintly as they searched for me.

"I hate that boy. Can't stand him!" I huffed dramatically, tears welling up in my eyes.
