Hey everyone! Thanks for checking this fanfic out!
Before the pandemic, I wrote the first chapter of my first BBC's Merlin fanfic called "The Protector of Excalibur" on Fanfiction.net. It was supposed to be a post-Merlin story and the return of Arthur. However, I never really continued onward due to the fact I felt like something was missing in the plot. Then, a month ago, I was rewatching Merlin for the 10th anniversary of the last season. The inspiration of writing again struck me and returned to the wrestling thought I had with my first story's plot. I then developed a new plot and thus this story was formed! I love Arthurian Legend, Welsh Mythology, and overall Celtic Mythology. This story is basically a mix of all that plus Merlin and a tiny bit of the concept of Outlander. I hope you all like it!
Some things to keep in mind:
- I do not own BBC's Merlin
- I do not own the gifs. I only own the book cover(s) and some of the video edits such as the opening credits (may request some video edits in the future)
- The story doesn't lean on anything too mature like Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon. This story is rated TV-PG/14 just like the actual tv series.
