LIZZIE'S POV
I go to my room to change my clothes and then i go back downstairs, i step in front of her room but the door is still closed and i hear nothing on the other side.
I sigh and go sit on the sofa thinking about what happened before.
I hope i haven't scared her or that she's mad at me.
Every time i try to do something right i end up ruining everything and destroying the good times with her.
I turn on the TV and play the first movie i find to distract myself, but i keep thinking about her and what she's doing in the room.
Suddenly i hear the door of her room open,
i compose myself on the sofa trying to keep calm.
I find her in front of me, her hair gathered in a bun and a long grey sweatshirt that reaches her knees.
She's so adorable.
"Hey" she says smiling
"Hey" i answer a bit confused
Her mood swings destabilize me
"Can i?" she asks, referring to the empty space next to me on the couch
"Of course you can" she doesn't have to repeat it twice and throws herself on the sofa, more precisely on me.
She snuggles under my arm resting her head on my chest.
"Mmm better" she murmurs closing her eyes
Okay...maybe i fell in love with a psychopath
"You're okay?" i ask, she lifts her head to look at me
"Yup...actually i wanted to apologize for earlier,
i was acting like a real bitch" she says, i smile at her caressing her cheek and see her relax into my touch
"Don't worry, i was just sad that i hurt you, it seems like it's the only thing i do with you lately" i say frustrated
"This is not true, i know you don't do it on purpose and then i know you did so much more for me"
"Like?" i ask and a smirk crosses her face
"Well you're very good at washing me" she says and i almost choke with my saliva
"W-what?" she bursts out laughing
"Oh God you should have seen your face!" she says laughing
"Ah-Ah funny" i pretend to be annoyed
She reaches her hand up to my chin so i can look at her
"Hey you make me happy okay? Here's what you do, you make me alive Lizzie" she says looking into my eyes and i can't help but get lost in them.
"You make me happy too babe, i'm so lucky to have you" i lean up to her face leaving a kiss on her adorable nose which she scrunches.
She hugs me and we both watch a movie staying in that position.
"Uhm can i ask a question?" she asks me after a while
"Yes, what's it about?"
"What's going to happen between you and Robbie?"
Why is she asking me?
"Well i think i want to divorce him, yeah i mean its a decision i made and i want to go through with it.
I didn't do it right away because i wanted to pass this difficult moment and i wanted to focus only and exclusively about you, but now i also want to think about this thing. Robbie and i are no longer meant to be together and i'm tired of lying to myself and the people i love. I want to live my life, honestly"
And i would like to live my life with her.
"Why did you ask me that?" i add
"Oh just out of curiosity" she says vaguely and goes back to watching the film, but i don't know if it's just me but i see a little smile on her face.
I wonder if it's really just that
"So...do you have plans today?" i ask rhetorically
"Well i have a leg that doesn't quite work yet so i don't think so" she says sarcastically and makes me giggle
"Great, then don't make any plans because today you're all mine" she lifts her head to look at me with a confused look
"What unhealthy ideas do you have in that head Olsen?"
"Well i thought we could take a tour down memory lane, i want to take you to some places that mean both of us" i say getting up off the couch while her head falls on it
"Ouch, you could have warned me" she says
I've done nothing but think about it these days,
the idea of reliving the best moments we've spent together but with more awareness now, the love i feel for her.
"And where would you like to take me today?" she asks curiously
"It's a surprise sorry" i say biting my lip
"Come on, go get dressed" i take her arms to pull her up
"Okay okay i'll go" she snorts while i smile
I run to my room to get ready.
Okay maybe i'm very excited but after all it's been a long time since i've spent time with her without problems.
I get dressed and go back downstairs waiting for her
Lizzie's outfit:
"Honey are you ready?"
"Yeah yeah i'm coming" she says, and a little later i see her join me
I can't take my eyes off her, i'm mesmerized by her beauty.
She will be my death i'm sure of that
Your outfit:
"Thank goodness i brought some clothes, i hope they are suitable for the occasi- wait what? Why are you looking at me like that?" she have noticed me staring at her, she'll think i'm weird now.
"Uhm nothing it's just-well i think you are beautiful"
i admit scratching my head in embarrassment and she blushes too.
"Thanks, you too are not bad little bear" it makes me so strange to hear her call me that again but i've to get used to it.
"Uhm could you help me put it on?" she adds pointing- wait that's my coat
"You're still wearing it" i assert
"It's yours?" she asks, right, she doesn't remember
"Yes, well it would be mine but i gave it to you" i approach her to help her put it on and i smile, i didn't think i would see her wearing it again.
"You're smiling again, this is weird you know?" she claims
"Sorry, but i like it when you wear my thin - i mean because it looks good on you"
What the fuck was i saying?
"Uhm let's go?" i say clearing my throat
"Yeah weirdo let's go" she says with a smirk, i know she's teasing me inside her.

I park the car and she looks around visibly confused.
"You took me to the middle of nowhere to kill me? Are you a serial killer Olsen?" she asks and i smile having a deja vu.
"You will have to find out" i answer her the same way i did the first time we came here
"Come i'm sure you'll like it"
We enter Matt's restaurant gazebo hoping that some memory will resurface in her mind.
"And here we are" i say, smiling at her kindly
"A restaurant?" she asks
"Not just a restaurant, but our restaurant.
I brought you here when we met and it was here that i realized that the person in front of me is really special. This is the best way to start our memory-journey" i take her hips in my hands and pull her to me
"You're quite romantic Olsen you know?" she teases me
"It's your fault honey, you bring out the best of me"
Our gazes have no intention of moving away from each other, we both get lost in each other's eyes.
"It's okay with you right? I didn't know whether to bring you here seen-well you know, so if you want-" she silences me by putting a finger on my mouth.
"Everything is perfect Lizzie, i wouldn't want to be anywhere else and with you my demons seem to disappear.
Actually you know what? I want pasta, do they have pasta here?" she says smiling at me and i do the same
"Yes, they have pasta"
"Then let's go, i'm hungry!" she says making me laugh
She's just incredible
I see Matt approaching us and i wave to him
"Oh hi girls what a surprise" he says hugging me then hugging y/n too.
"What happened to you my dear?" Matt asks y/n
"Oh nothing, i'm just a little too clumsy" she says making him laugh
"It's nice to see you together, come with me, i'll take you to the usual table" he says and we follow him
I pull the chair back to help y/n sit down.
"Oh what a gentlewoman" she says, i smile leaving a kiss on her head and i go to sit in front of her.
After ordering we start talking and i feel like i'm living a continuous deja vu and everything is so perfect.
"I'm happy" she says out of the blue
"For real?"
"Yes, i didn't think i'd say it after a long time but i'm happy and it's thanks to you" she admits and i can barely hold back the tears.
I take her hand on the table, my thumb caressing it as i look into her eyes.
"You make me happy too, you gave me back that light that hadn't been inside me for a long time, you gave me the courage to finally live my life, to be myself and i can never thank you enough" i admit with all my heart
"Whatever we were in the past doesn't matter now, i want to live in the present and i want to make sure you want to live it with me, fuck the past, the mistakes, the fears and the doubts that have come between us. I think i've found you again and even if i can't remember you, i think my heart has since the first moment i saw you enter my hospital room.
Just promise me you'll be with me okay?" after all what i did to her now she's here, sitting at this table, forgiving me, telling me that she wants to give me that long awaited second chance that i never thought would ever come.
She wants me back in her life, she wants me next to her and that's all ever i've wanted.
"I couldn't go anywhere without you, you're stuck in my heart and i'm not going to take you out of there"
"Good to know" she says smiling at me but then we both burst out laughing
"Okay, now that we've had this heartbreaking speech, clean yourself up or i'll end up laughing in your face" she says and i look at her confused
"You have some sauce t- wait i'll do it" i see her reach her hand towards my face, she runs her thumb over the corner of my mouth and for a moment i feel my heart stop beating.
I swallow in embarrassment as she swipes the sauce away in a slow, too slow motion.
I then see her bring her thumb to her mouth tasting the remnants of the sauce.
Ok i didn't remember it going like this the first time and i'm pretty hot right now.
"Mmm it's really good" she says satisfied with a smirk in her damn beautiful face.
What is a twist of fate or what?

We're in the car on a drive around LA as she can't walk much.
I caress her leg and it's nice to know that she trusts me enough to touch her without scaring her.
We pass through the same streets where we once walked together, i remember we're so afraid that some paparazzi would jump out at any moment and we hid as much as possible but we did everything to be together.
The truth is that i would love to walk these streets hand in hand with her, free to be myself, to love her in the light of the sun.
"You're lost in your thoughts" says waking up the girl next to me
"What?"
"You darkened all of a sudden, what were you thinking about?" she asks me
"Oh nothing, just stupid thoughts" i lie
"Fine...anyway do you mind if i go round those shops? You know i still have to buy some presents for Cassie and my sister" she asks me
"Sure, wait i'll park-"
"No uhm, i'd rather go alone" she interrupts me
Why all of a sudden she doesn't want to be with me anymore?
"How about we meet here in an hour?
So you too can go get the gifts for you family" she proposes
"Okay...are you sure you can do it?"
"I'm absolutely sure, don't worry" she says taking my hand and giving a kiss, okay maybe this calms me down a bit.
She takes her crutches and opens the car door and starts to get out but i interrupt her
"Wait before i forget, about my family-here before of all what happened i proposed you to spend Christmas with me and my family.
But well-uhm know that now it would be strange for you so-uhm yeah well if you-"
"I can't wait to spend Christmas with you and your family Lizzie" she says and then winks at me and leaves leaving me destabilized in my car.
I don't know if it's just me but she's acting weird and her mood swings certainly doesn't help.
I pretend not to think about it and take the opportunity to prepare what is needed for her gifts. i'm sure she'll love one of these.
I can't wait for Christmas and to see her face when she sees it.
