Another day, another headache it was for Enola. After her break up with Tewksbury she wasn't really feeling herself. Since they both go on the same schools it is hard to avoid him. It was an Enola problem but it wasn't only hers since Tewksbury's friends are Enola's friends and Enola's friends are Tewksbury's friends, So their friend group made a decision to split for the mean time. They didn't want to take sides because they knew that taking sides would ruin their entire friendship.
"Enola" one of her friends spoke
"yeah what's down?" enola spoke
"you, you really look down" sarrah said
"no i don't" the girl said with a long face
"haha you are THE enola holmes you might not open up to us, but we already know what's bothering you" sarrah spoke again
"nothing is bothering me, again i said nothing" enola with an annoyed tune
"if you are so okay right now then stop being so cranky, stop ruining your day, stop crying on class randomly, stop kicking your locker because it won't break, stop pretending that you are okay because I am your friend, and as your friend I can tell" said sarrah
"you are right, i am not okay" enola cried
"just not go to a place that will remind you of him" sarrah laughed
"are you telling me to stay in outer space?" enola cried
"i am not helping, yes i get it. But please forgive me" sarrah said while trying to comfort her.
"i'm gonna go to class" enola spoke
"want me to come with you" sarrah asked her
"nah i'm all good" she lied to her friend
"we all know that it's a lie but i need to get to class, see you later?" sarrah said getting up the chair
"you are a really bad liar enola holmes" sarrah said getting up
"i will take that as a really amazing compliment" enola spoke while rolling her eyes
"keep rolling those eyes nola, you might get him to notice you" sarrah laughed
"you need to stop" enola yelled
"fine, I will" sarrah walking away from her
Enola sighed and took a really really big breath, she was really overwhelmed.
Just when she was about to enter class, she stopped walking, she stood there for a five more seconds. She didn't want to get in class. She felt like a magnet was pulling her away from attending class.
She couldn't hold it
Enola ran to the school's basement she left all of her belongings at the entrance so if something happens to her she wouldn't die.
There was a a tiny little candle and a match at the side of the entrance, she picked it up and made light before she could go inside. Enola wasn't scared of the dark but she is scared of tripping over random things.
Well that's what she thought
Just when she reached the basement she bumped into something that was really big
"owww" the unknown person yelled
"aghhhhh" enola shot back
"that hurts" the unknown person cried out
enola took out her phone and used it as a flashlight to check the person's wound
after finding a piece of garter and cloth to clear the boy's wound enola was shocked that she helped the person but never got to see the face and the name of the boy.
"there you go" enola said to the boy
"thank you, enola" the boy whispered to her ear
"how do you know my name" she questioned the boy
the boy took her phone and hid it
"where is my phone" enola yelled in frustration
"sh sh shhh calm down" the boy whipered while holding her hand
enola felt so speechless she couldn't say a word
the the boy said "i know its dark but i want you to close ur hands and relax"
"is this the part where you kill me?" enola asked
"no" the boy chuckled
The boy was still holding enola's hands a few minutes later he placed her two hands to his face and said
"touch my face and guess who this is" the boy said
"why would i?" enola asked
"because for sure u made this face blush sometimes" the boy laughed
after a moment enola's heart dropped "tewksbury" she whispered to herself
enola hugged him tight and stayed like that for a moment.
"getting locked with you in a basement isn't that bad" enola spoke
"guess i'm stuck with you" tewksbury smiled
