"We are going to be the best of friends forever!" I yell as Warren and I are swinging on the swings together while holding hands.
"Heck yeah! Nothing will ever stop us. It's you and me against the world Lils!" He yells.

That was a lie.
I know it.
That feeling you get when you know something bad is going to happen, the one deep in your gut.
The feeling you get when you know your world is going to come crashing down.
"Hi Linnea" I hear him say walking into my dorm room with a box in his hands.
He has been helping me move my stuff into my dorm, thankfully. It would've taken forever to do it on my own.
"Hey." I mumble.
"What's up LiLee?" He asks me.
"Nothing" Everything.
"O-kay" he says slightly laughing. I can tell he is putting on an act. I wish he would just let me in.
I don't say a word.
"Come on Linnea tell me what's up." He says to me moving to sit on the bed next to me. Hypocrite.
"Leave," I say, maybe if I push him away now he can't push me away.
"What?" He says slightly laughing.
I give him a look showing him I'm not joking.
"Alright then. I will leave but I'll be back tomorrow to help you with the rest, then we can talk about whatever is going on alright?" He gets up, placing a soft kiss on my temple.
He won't be back.
He's hiding something.
Something that's causing us to drift apart.
For the past few weeks, he's been acting weird.
Distant.
I watch as he leaves closing the door behind him.
He might not come back. That thought tears me apart.
He's fighting a battle within himself and we won't let me in.
He won't let me help.
He won't even tell me what's wrong.
And I don't know if I will ever find out.
