Naomi's POV
We pulled up to his enormous house and I just stared in awe. This house was gorgeous.
"Ready to go in"
"Whenever you are" we walked inside and if you thought the outside was nice the Inside was a dream come true. The house was big but with the open concept design it was 3x bigger.
"Can I get you something to drink?" He asked politely
"Water please" He smiled and went into the kitchen as i looked around the house a bit more. I took a seat on the couch and looked down at my phone that was blaring out with the caller ID 'My Baby'. I pressed decline and shut off my phone.
"Here you go, one ice cold water" He said handing me the glass.
"So what brought you to the diner" I asked while taking a sip.
"I was actually actually the auto shop beside it and i saw you so is thought I should say hi. Now you tell me why you looked depressed." He asked
"I was not d-"
"If your going to lie get out" He says shocking me "look Naomi, I'm a grown man and I don't have time for games" for some reason I felt like he was no longer talking about my problem.
"Jam-" He placed his lips on mine shutting me up completely. I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer to me. He pulled away and kissed my neck making making his way down.
"Naomi please tell me I'm not the only one feeling this. Do you feel this. Whatever this is, between us." He bit lightly on my neck and I arched my back giving him better access.
"Mhm yes." I peeled off my shirt not giving him time to react. As I was unclipping my bra he stopped me.
"Naomi are you sure?"
"Jamar just fuck me already"
What's done in the dark ALWAYS comes to the light and Naomi girl.... Be careful
The next morning
Lyda's POV
I hummed along to the catchy tune that played through the radio as i cut up the vegetables. As i turned to pour the vegetables into the pot my back cramped up.
"Shit" I mumbled before stretching it out and going back to my work
"Good morning Lyda" Danae said dully
"Good morning Ms. Watts, is there anything i can get you?"
"N-"
"If you say no imma smack you with this pan" I say jokingly
"Alright Alright, can i get a cup of peppermint tea"
"Coming right up" I grabbed the kettle and filled it up with water before placing it back onto the stove so it could boil. "So what's wrong?"
"Nothing" I raised an eyebrow towards her and she let out a laugh. She explained the situation to me and i let out a deep sigh. I can't deal with sneaky hoes. After telling me the story she looked depressed so i sent her to her room and told her i would bring the tea to her. Lord why is someone always tryna mess withthe good hearted people. i continued to cook swaying my waist a bit. I bet i could figure out who left that note. No lyda stop, you quit being a detective a long time ago. But for the good of D- No I won't do it. I thought having a mental argument with myself. The water started to boil so I turned off the stove and quickly poured it into the cup with the tea bag and sugar. I stirred it up a bit before going upstairs.
"Danae?"
"Hmm" I handed her the tea before taking a seat on her bed. Danae looked depressed as hell and I couldn't help but feel bad.
"Danae, may i ask you a question?"
"Yeah" she sipped the tea and put my hands in my lap
"Now you said that when you were pregnant with JJ that Mr. Jackson left correct."
"Yeah"
"is that why you won't carry his child now?"
"Yeah. I mean, whether Jermaine wrote that note or not, I just feel like I can't trust him and I need to be sure that if I do carry his child he'll be there"
"Why not make him sign a contract?" I say and immediately mentally smack myself. Stop sounding like a damn lawyer, those days are over.
"That's not a bad idea. I'll think it over. Thanks Lyda for the tea and for the advice." She says smiling. That's it, I'm going to find out who left that note even if it kills me. I walked out of the room and I picked up the phone and dialed a number that i haven't contacted in a while.
"Réquan I'm gonna need your help"
Kyamora's POV
Hey yall. I finally got a damn POV but shoot took long enough. Anyways let's start my story.
"And that's a wrap!" Quincy yelled. I stood up and everyone clapped. I smiled and thanked everyone before going over to Quincy.
"Hey baby" I said placing a kiss on his cheek
"Hey beautiful, you were amazing" I smiled as a response but it was quickly wiped away when Ms. Hoe of the century came around.
"Hey Quincy"
"Hi Candace" She walked over making sure her ass swayed with every step. She stopped in front of him and as she reached to give him a hug she 'accidently' brushed over his abs. They hugged for a second too long and I cleared my throat.
"Oh I'm sorry Kyra, I didn't even notice you were there" She said smiling innocently
"My name is Kyamora. Not Kyra"
"Oh. What a shame" she turned back to Quincy and continued flirting. Lord give me strength. I walked away before i would do something she would regret cause I sure as hell know I wouldn't regret it.
"Hey hey hey" Someone yells. Why does that voice sound so familiar....
"Now I know you ain't gon ignore me...cha.... Disrespectful ass" I laughed and turned around to be pulled into a hug.
"Lanai! Girl where have you been" I say hugging her back
"You know me cant stay one place for too long but i did do something incredible"
"What?" She flashed me her ring and i screamed
"Your getting married! I can't believe i. Who is it?"
"Hey baby i finally found you" He kissed Lanai's head and my eyes widened in shock.
"Kayden meet one of my best friends, Kyamora. Kyamora meet my fiancee, Kayden"
"Kyamora?"
"Kayden?"
Oh. Hell. No.
