In a huge abandoned warehouse Bucky comes to with his metallic left arm clamped in a huge industrial vice. Steve peers through a gap at a chopper flying overhead. Sam's over by Bucky.Y/N sits near a wooden block playing with some yellow mists her other hand trailing at her neck where the shock collar was kept which left marks.
"I didn't know he would keep Wanda locked"Steve shook his head looking at his palm"It's my fault"
"Nothing is your fault, Steve"
"How is your neck?" she turned toward Steve who had a concerned look on his face.
"It's okay I guess" she shook her head down"I guess I can heal it," she said looking up at him. Steve frowned at her.
"You can?" he asked her "I mean you can right? Your powers can heal you right" he mutters to himself looking shyly at her who chuckles at him
"Well I remember," she thinks for a moment tilting her head" when I was a kid and I used to get hurt if it used to be a small cut it would heal quickly though" she frowns at those memories" and a big wound it would take a day...It used to depend on the wound size" she shrugs and Steve Nods at her"But after Hydra, I never tried it"
"Then I guess we should try it"
"We can though" she smiles a bit putting her hand on her neck which glows yellow around it. She then removes it and the marks are gone
"It's gone" he looks in awe at what she has done she smiles shyly at him. He walks up to her keeping his hand on her neck and tilting her head "Yeah it's gone" comes out as a whisper. They were close. Her (y/e/c) looked back at his azure eyes was it the time to reveal that he started liking her the day they shared each other's experience of their lives? She breaks his thought by muttering
"Okay"
Steve clears his throat leaving her neck"Uh Listen-"
"I wanted to"They both stopped at the same time she chuckled at him"You can continue"
"So I wanted so this long time ago"he wasn't unsure what to say to her was it time now to say"You remember we talked in London" she nods at him unsure where it was going"The Rogers Maximoff day"
"Yeah, I remember before everything went down"
"I told you about the date like a kinda fake date" he had never felt this nervousness in his life before" Also I know you told me we would do it afterward but Iloveyouandcanwegoonarealdate?" she raises her eyebrows he huffs his breath
"Steve I know what you are trying to ask but maybe clearly"eyes wide how can he forget that she can read his mind course she must know on the other hand she had decided not to read his mind exhales and inhales for a bit.
"I love you and can we go on a real date?" he closes his eyes not wanting to see her reaction.
He feels a hand on his face he opens it to see her standing close to him "You love me?" she whispers cupping his cheeks.
"Yeah since that day."
She smashes her lips on her they stumbled a bit Steve at first was shocked but gave it in. She sighed"That was-"
"Late" Steve shook his head when a voice interrupts them.
"Hey, Cap!"They turn to look at Sam who has his eyebrows raised Steve and Y/N go over to join Sam by Bucky who sits with his arm in the vice. Sam nudges her elbow a grin on his face she looks at him pleading to be quiet They turn and stare at him.
"Steve." his voice comes out a bit raspy eyes hooded looking at Steve.
"Which Bucky am I talking to?"
"Your mom's name was Sarah...You used to wear newspapers in your shoes." he chuckled at the memory
"Can't read that in a museum."Steve smiles at it
"Just like that, we're supposed to be cool?"Sam asks looking at both of them
"Sam" she glares at him Sam shrugs at it
"What did I do?"
"A lot"Y/N replies folding her hand
"Oh, God, I knew this would happen. Everything HYDRA put inside me is still there. All he had to do was say the goddamn words."
"Who was he?"Steve question him
"I don't know."Bucky keeps his head down
"People are dead. The bombing, the setup. The doctor did all that just to get 10 minutes with you. I need you to do better than "I don't know."
"He wanted to know about Siberia. Where I was kept. He wanted to know exactly where."
"Why would he need to know that?"
"Because he is not the only winter soldier"Steve and Sam both of them turn to look at Y/N and Bucky nods at it
"Yeah she is telling the truth"
Bucky then tells them the story of the other four winter soldiers who were different than Bucky and now are frozen in cyro.
"Who were they?"
"Hydra's most elite death squad"Y/N speaks up. Sam raises his eyebrows but doesn't question her knowing she was also part of Hydra" I heard about them when we were" she chose her word "taken by them also he was about to say that"she points at him"More kills than anyone in HYDRA history."
Bucky continues then "And that was before the serum."
"They all turn out like you?"
"Worse."
"The doctor, could he control them?"Steve question's him
"Enough."
"Said he wanted to see an empire fall," Steve tells looking at Y/N and Sam back to Bucky.
"With these guys, he could do it. They speak 30 languages, can hide in plain sight, infiltrate, assassinate, destabilize, They can take a whole country down in one night. You'd never see them coming"Bucky explains to Steve
Sam steps up to Steve.Y/N joins them"This would have been a lot easier a week ago."
"If we call Tony . . ."
"No, he won't believe us."Sam shakes his head running his hand through his face
"And" Y/N folds her hand"I don't trust him"
Sam nods his head and looks back at Steve
"Even if he did . . ."
"Who knows if the Accords would let him help."
"We're on our own."
"Yep I guess"Y/N speaks but narrows her eyes at Sam when he doesn't match their expression
"Maybe not. I know a guy."Sam tells them glancing a bit at Y/N and she realizes who it is.
