Jisung was rushing to school as he was late.
He couldn't sleep well yesterday so he ended up writing songs all night.
It was already lunchtime.
He entered the canteen and saw his friends at their usual table.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY ALMOST TWIN, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH SUNGIE!!" screamed the freckled boy as he squished the boy while hugging him.
"Happy birthday Hyung!" said Jeongin as he pushed Felix to hug Jisung
"Didn't we just celebrate this like a year ago?" joked Seungmin
Felix and Jeongin gave Seungmin that 'are you serious' look.
"I'm just kidding" said Seungmin "Happy Birthday Jisung! Thanks for being born"
"Thank you guys I really appreciate it" said Jisung who was out of breathe as he sat down
All the boys handed Jisung their gifts as he awed at each one of them.
"Felix" said a voice
The older boy approached the table as he handed Felix his bag "you forgot it in the car" he said as he ruffled the younger boys hair.
"thanks Minho Hyung" replied Felix
Before Minho left he saw Jisung surrounded by presents and wished him happy birthday.
This caused Jisung to turn red.
He was familiar with the older boy as he sometimes stays over with Felix and has dinner with his family but they never really spoke. But Jisung had the biggest crush on Minho for almost a year now.
It all started when Felix had invited Jisung to watch him dance. Jisung came a bit early and Minho was already there dancing.
Something about Minho that day dancing made Jisung fall in love with him. He's never seen such a handsome guy. But he didn't tell Felix he was scared it would ruin their years of friendship.

Jisung entered his house. Nothing was decorated. No balloons. No banners. Nothing.
What did he expect, every birthdays been like this since his mother passed away.
He sighed as he went up to his room.
Jisung saw that there was a small black gift box with a red ribbon and a note on his night stand.
Happy Birthday Jisung,
Sorry I can't make it tonight

"can't make it tonight" he scoffed "like there was anything planned in the first place"
Jisung scrunched the note up and threw it in the bin. He picked up the present and didn't bother looking what's inside and threw that in the bin too. He knew his dad probably bought something expensive to say sorry but Jisung didn't care.
He stopped caring when his dad got remarried and let his wife take control of everything in the house. Jisung wasn't even allowed to invite his friends over. She would always humiliate Jisung when he was home that's why he usually stayed at Felix's.
