"We gave you this project because you did so great the last time and we trust your ability to succeed on this one as well, Miss Jung. "

Minjoo sighed for probably hundred of time already as she packed her bag, readying herself for probably a long trip.

Don't get her wrong, she's happy with her job. She's okay with everything and will do absolutely anything for her work but that doesn't mean she won't be disappointed and would have that urge to complain about what she is tasked to do.

Going to Jeju island, really?

If it's other circumstances, Minjoo would probably feel excited and happy about going in that island. But the thing is, if she will be honest to herself, she doesn't want to leave Seoul.

And yes, it's all because of him.

Just as the thought of him crossed her mind, Minjoo couldn't help but to smile and feel herself giddy and at peace. She can feel her heart beating in an unusual way which is totally normal whenever she's thinking of him or when she's with his presence.

Though, that smile soon wiped out when she got reminded about living the city and do her job in Jeju.

She sighed heavily.

I miss him.

And she sighed once again, her lips forming into a pout as her brows furrowed.

I really miss him.

Does he feel the same way?

That is something Minjoo is not sure of. Maybe if it's in the past, she would be certain that the man misses her so much. But the thing is, she is no longer in the past.

They are no longer in the past.

But he's still my dearest, is he not?

A smile formed on her lips. "Of course, he is. " She says, answering the question that formed in her head.

Minjoo's flight from Seoul to Jeju is scheduled today at exactly two in the afternoon. And it was past ten when she's finally done packing. She immediately took a bath and ready herself for the trip.

Sihye is already aware of the trip, and that explains when she volunteered herself to fetch her from her apartment and drop her to the airport.

"How many weeks are you going to stay there again? " The girl on the driver's seat asked once Minjoo settled herself on the passenger's.

"You're exaggerating, it will only be for three to five days, not sure. "

"Duh, it still almost a week. "

She faced her friend and pointed her finger towards her. "Exactly, almost. Not a week. "

"Whatever. "

The ride from her apartment to the airport took approximately half an hour. Once they arrived, Minjoo bid her friend who was teary eyed a goodbye. She couldn't help but laugh at Sihye who was tearing up as if she'll be gone for a year or so.

After that, she waved to her friend one last time before finally going inside the airport.

-

It is Minjoo's first time going in the Jeju. She never, in her whole life, imagined herself traveling at the said town. Well, it's not really traveling as her sole reason upon being in the said place is her job. But still, she never imagined walking on the white sands, and having the breeze passed her, leaving her hair dancing.

Now that she's in the island, she's quite glad that she was chosen to do this task but still, she couldn't help but to feel sad about the fact that she won't be seeing him for the next days.

A sigh left Minjoo's lips. She lifted her hand and unlocked the door of the room she'll stay in for her stay in the island.

Aside that she's in the island, she's also grateful that her agency booked in a resort and not in a hotel. At least in that way, she's close to the beach where she could watch the sunset whenever she has the chance to do so.

Once she unlocked the door, Minjoo entered her room. It's not that big but it's also not small. Actually, it's spacious enough for her which she is, again, grateful for.

The room is like a cabin type. Probably because her agency has that money to book her something nice and not just a casual lower class room a.k.a the rooms in the building near the parking area. Actually, either way, Minjoo would still be grateful so it actually didn't matter which room her agency booked.

But she's really glad she has a cabin-like room in the building near the seaside.

Minjoo was distracted from roaming around her room when she heard her phone ringing on the bed where she placed it earlier along with her luggage.

She walked towards her bed and picked her phone, her heart almost did a flip as a smile immediately formed on her lips upon seeing the name on the screen.

She bit her lips and inhaled deeply, trying to calm herself down. Especially her heart that is wanting nothing but to jump out of her chest and bounce on the bed in front of her.

She slides the screen and placed her phone on her ear. "Hello? "

"Hey. "

Just by hearing his voice, the smile on her lips widened. She sat on her bed and tried to control her breathing as she didn't want to make herself obvious about how the man affect her just by hearing his voice.

"Hey, what's up? " She asked in a so casual way she could.

"Are you at work? "

Minjoo shook her head as answer, only to face palm herself upon realizing that the man can't see her. "Nope, I don't have work today. Why? "

"Good. Are you busy then? "

"Umm not really—"

"Glad to know that. Wanna go grab some bread? I'll fetch you now "

And just like that, the smile on her lips faltered. Right, she didn't had the time to inform him as she was just also informed about the trip she'll have.

"I'm sorry, I can't. " That is probably one of the hardest words Minjoo had said in her entire life.

"Oh. "

And she couldn't help but to feel so guilty hearing the disappointment in his voice. So with that, she explained herself. She doesn't want the other to misunderstood her so she explained herself.

"I'm actually not in Seoul right now. There was a sudden job i needed to do that requires me to leave Seoul and I  was just informed recently and I didn't have the time to—"

Minjoo was cut off in the midst of her sentence when the man in the other line chuckled.

"It's alright, Minjoo. I appreciate you explaining but you know, you don't have to. I understand you and your job. "

The man says.

God, I love him.

"But may I know when will you coming back? " He added.

"I'm not sure. It depends, so I'm not sure. I might be staying here for three days or five days, dunno. "

"Okay then, stay safe, aight? "

Minjoo hummed, smiling. "You too. "

"I will, thank you. "

The line didn't end after that. And it has always been like that whenever they're on call. They would bid their goodbyes to each other but no one will dare to end the call.

And that made Minjoo chuckle. "Aren't you going to end the call? "

"I prefer you doing it because I don't want to. "

And that sentence alone gave her butterflies in her stomach. If only she doesn't need to unpack her bags and is not tired from the ride, she wouldn't end the call and stay on call, talking to him till evening.

So once again, she bid her goodbye and finally ends the call. She unpacked her things then set an alarm after as she decided to take a short nap.

Well, her plan was just a short nap but as you see, Minjoo didn't wake up from her alarm and she ended up waking up around eight in the evening.

She scolded herself and regret taking a nap. She took a shower and left her room to get something for dinner.

"Oh, you sell bread here? " She asked, eyeing the bread rolls displayed on the store of the resort.

"Yes ma'am, those were just made, fresh from the oven! "

He loves bread....

"I'll get three. "

The salesman nodded then looked behind her. "What about you sir? "

"I'll get three too. "

Minjoo's eyes widened because that voice she just heard and that voice through the phone earlier are the same  and there is no way she just heard it right behind her.

Still shocked, Minjoo slowly turned around and looked at the man behind her who is also looked surprise seeing her there.

"You're here. "

"You're here. "

They said in unison, both couldn't believe of what they are seeing. Though as soon as they recovered, Minjoo smiled and so did he.

"Hey, Jungwon."

"Glad to see you here, Minjoo. "
