"You absolutely look professional than ever, Minjoo! "
Minjoo stared at herself in the mirror. Sihye is right, with the blazer she's wearing and the way her friend styled her hair, the light make up on her face, she's indeed looking professional.
"Well, thank you for your help I guess? " She says, still checking herself in the mirror. She shifted her gaze to her friend when the latter chuckled.
"You guess? Gosh, Minjoo. "
"Fine, then I don't guess. "
Sihye just shook her head from the other's sarcastic reply. "Anyway, don't forget what i told you, ok? "
Minjoo gave her friend a bewildered look. "Told me what? "
The other rolled her eyes while sighing. "About recreating that thing or scene in that certain..." she paused, unsure if she'd continue her sentence or not since, well, the other shows that she's uncomfortable with that topic.
Minjoo immediately understand what her friend wanted to say. She smiled and continued her sentence instead. "Love story in history. Jiyeon and Jungwon, right? "
If it's before, she'd probably have an anxiety attack, or she would breakdown right there and then. But since a certain someone that is making her feel like she's reliving the past, it no longer hurt her that much.
Yeah, the pain, the anger, the heavy weight on her shoulder and in her heart were still there whenever she gets reminded of there 'perfect love story' that's written in the textbooks but it's not like before. It's controllable and there is more peace than before.
"Don't worry Sihye, I wont. " She answered truthfully.
She's not lying. She's sure of herself that she won't force things to happen in the event. Because if what happened in history, what happened in that certain ball in the past is bound to happen again now in the present time, then Minjoo can't do anything about it, can she?
She'll just go with the flow, let the things fall into place because the only thing she wanted to change in history is their ending.
The ending that they didn't deserve.

"Geez Minjoo, I'm just making sure since you're obsessed with them, with their story. You can't blame me, you know. " Sihye replied.
Minjoo just shook her head and once again checked herself in the mirror. "Yeah, whatever. "
After a few more minutes of preparations, their agency called to discuss some things with her about the things, the informations she must take in the event before she headed to the place of the said event.
Today is the day. And despite being overwhelmed and nervous as the thought of having in a place where big and a lot people are intimidates her.
So with that being said, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath before going out of the cab and in the building.
The sight of round tables, decorated with flowers and candles immediately came to her view. And just like what she expected, the hall is full of people.
Minjoo couldn't help but to get deja vu upon entering the venue where the awaited event that the Lee Financial is holding.
The memories of the past keeps flashing in her mind. The people, the venue.... everything is the same. The only different is the clothing of the people, and the modern design of the stage in front.
"Excuse me, ma'am? "
Minjoo looked at the girl who approached her. And base from what she is wearing, Minjoo can definitely tell she's a staff.
"Do you have the invitation? "The staff asked.
Invitation? Ah, right.
Minjoo nodded while mumbling 'yes'. She searched for the little card in her purse and handed it to the girl who scanned it before asking her to follow her in which she obeyed.
The staff guided her to the corner table. Minjoo thanked the staff and took her seat then start preparing the things she needed to document the event.
The spot she's at has the perfect view of the hall. And she could take a photograph of the whole place without living her table. Well, except the view of the second floor.
There are already lots of guest when Minjoo arrived. And it's been half an hour since then, the people multiplied as the event will about to start soon.
Minjoo examines the people inside. And it would be a complete lie if she says she's not looking for someone because she is.
She is hoping. She is expecting to see the man whom she also was looking for in the past with the same event.
Jiyeon is highly expecting that she will lock eyes with the man she's admiring.
Funny because even in the present time, that sentence applies with her current situation. Because she is indeed expecting.
Hoping.
And so she didn't stop roaming her eyes in the room, didn't stop looking at the unfamiliar faces of the guests...
After a while, the event started with a host in front, welcoming the guests. And just like what the reason why Minjoo is in the place in the first place, she started documenting.
She would take a photograph of the crowd, type something on her laptop. She also interviewed some of the big people who attended the celebration.
But that doesn't mean she stopped looking for a certain someone because best believe she didn't. She would roam her eyes in attempt to find him in the corner of the room, in the stage and even outside the building.
But to her dismay, she didn't see him. A heavy and disappointed sigh left Minjoo's lips as she sat on her seat. She's now back at her table after doing her job.
She's almost done in documenting, she just needed to interview the CEO himself which she just saw once tonight. And that was the time where he says his speech.
Or the chairman himself but Minjoo haven't seen him since yesterday, when they saw each other again 'accidentally' in a café near the park.
A staff holding glasses of wine stopped at her table and offered her one. Minjoo smiled and accepted, thanking him afterwards. She took a sip before deciding to go and find the CEO to finish her job so she could enjoy the event.
She walked and look at every table in the room. She roamed every corner of the building yet she didn't found them. And that made her sigh.
"Wine, ma'am? " She looked at the staff who offered her. It's the same staff who offered her downstairs and that made her smile. Though she shook her head and declined politely.
Once the staff left, Minjoo's gaze focused across where she's standing.
A terrace.
Minjoo smiled as a memory of the past on the terrace flashes in her mind. She slowly made her way on the terrace then leaned on the railing. The corner of her lips tugged upward as she smiled, her eyes automatically scanned the stars present at the night sky.
Jiyeon stood there, leaning on the railing as she looked above her, at the night sky.
Minjoo got chills on her spine upon realizing what just happened.
