i wanted to talk about that kiss with billie. did she meant it? was i imagining it? all of these thoughts was running through my head and i don't know what to think at this point.
"come in" billie said through the speaker by the door
i went in her office and she was talking to an older man. he had ginger hair. he looked nice.
"oh jules! this is my brother finneas. uh finneas this is jules.. my.. um.. my staff member." she stuttered.
i shook his hand and i smiled to billie.
"hey uh billie. when are you gonna finish those lyrics?" finneas asked billie
"lyrics? what lyrics? wait- you sing?" i asked billie
"shut the fuck up!" billie told her brother.
we all stayed silent until billie spoke up.
"yes okay yeah. i sing.. sometimes!" billie said shyly while rubbing the back of her neck.
"that's a total lie!" finneas scoffed
"i swear to god! finneas leave! get out!" billie told finneas sternly.
finneas put his hands up in defense and left her office.
"sorry about him.. but i lied. i can't sing for shit!" billie let out a laugh
"stop lying! let me hear it! i bet you have a wonderful voice!" i said excited!
billie just let out a sigh and opened her drawer and it had a whole ass keyboard in it. how the fuck did she fit that?!
"thank god these walls are soundproof" she mumbled and smirked.
billie cleared her throat and thought of the lyrics

"i must give the impression that i have the answers for everything." she sung.
what the fuck! bro she sounds so amazing.
"you were so disappointed to see me unravel so easily.." she continued to sing and i examined her features in awh!
"it's only change. it's only everything i know. it's only change. and im only changing.." she finished. my mouth dropped and she giggled.
"what the fuck billie that's amazing! holy shit!" i exclaimed!
"thank you! but please for the love of god please don't tell anyone!" she pleaded
"i wont. i promise!" i told her truthfully.
"i don't deserve you i swear!" she said softly with a laugh.
i blushed and smiled at her.
"billie?" i asked and she hummed in response.
"what did you mean when you said "you saved us?" i asked and she gulped
she then let out a sigh and explained everything
"basically we were about to go bankrupt. but they gave me another chance to get the money. so i contacted my friend taylor to help. now that she's helping us. we possibly won't go bankrupt." she explained and my eyes widened.
"and if we were to go bankrupt we would lose everything. the perfumes, our clothing brand. everything jules. i didnt wanna tell you cause i know you'll overthink it and i didn't wanna pressure you to work harder or some shit." she added.
"im sorry bil." i said with a frown
"it's fine angel! it's not your fault" she said while giving a slight smile.
"now c'mon get out!" she pushed me playfully and smiled
my mouth dropped and i let out a laugh.
"i hate you bozo!" i said while exiting her office
"i love you too loser!" she said before i closed her office doors.
"hey jules" finneas said waving to me
"hey fin!" i smiled
"uh hows billie? i noticed you two are getting a lot closer." he gave a cheesy smile
"uh yeah. i mean we've been close ever since but yeah." i said nervously.
"yeah i see. she couldn't stop talking about you the other day" he replied.
"oh really?" i smirked
"yeah also. uhm" he began to say
"nevermind. ill tell you soon i promise!" he added and patted me on the back he pressed the button to billies office while i walked away.

i looked on the cameras outside my office
"nevermind. i"ll tell you soon i promise!"
what was he gonna say to her?
i furrowed my eyebrows as he walked in.
"what the fuck was that about?" i scoffed
he looked confused but realized.
"nothing bil? what do you mean?" he gulped
"what was that shit you pulled? "nevermind ill tell you soon i promise" i mocked with a 'what the fuck' look
"and why did you tell her that i talked about her. god how can i fucking trust you anymore when you go behind my back and say some shit like that that i specifically told you not to tell someone?!" i snapped
he stayed mute. fuckin dumbass i swear
"get out of my office. don't say shit to no one. i swear to fucking god finneas. i fucking mean every word" i slammed my hands on my desk.
he soon left without saying a word. fuck. i hate him sometimes oh my god!
i sat back in my chair and decided to work on some more lyrics.
i hummed the lyrics and sung what came to mind
"i stay focused on details, it keeps me from feeling the big things. but watched the microscope long enough things that seem still are changing." i sung softly and then let out som la's and da's
i then grabbed my pen and paper and wrote the lyrics down. i liked the song so far i guess. i put the keyboard away and did some of the paperwork that taylor gave me. then the phone ringed
"hello" i answered
"hi baby!" taylor said
"hi love! what do you want im working." i said smiling
"oh. nothing really. i just.." she began to say
"i wanna get my revenge on jules."
