"oh? mommy is here?"
i turned towards the voice of shin-hye and smiled, "good morning."
"good morning," shin-hye said before running towards me and hugging me.
"oh! mama is still here!" i heard cho-reum say before also hugging me.
i chuckled, "my work is cancelled for the whole day. so, i'll be going to your canteen day."
the two of them gasped while looking at me, "are you serious!?"
i grinned and nodded, "yes."
the two of them cheered before hugging me tightly once more.
"what's going on?" hye-joon came into the kitchen.
"mommy is going to our canteen day!" shin-hye told him.
"wah, really?" he asked. i also saw his eyes light up.
i smiled and nodded, "yes. i don't have anything to do for the whole day. so, i can go to your canteen day. and then after that probably we'll go for some shopping."
"mommy's going to our canteen day?" dong-won who just came to the kitchen asked.
i chuckled and nodded, "yes, baby. i'm going to your canteen day. so, we're going to have a lot of fun. it's been some time since i went to your school."
"our class teacher has been asking about you," shin-hye said.
"that's right," dong-won said.
i raised my eyebrows, "what did she say?"
"she asked if you could come to our canteen day too," dong-won said.
shin-hye and dong-won are in the same class since both of them are born in the same year.
"well then, you can now answer to your teacher that your mom is definitely coming to your canteen day," i said to the two of them with smiles.
"ahreum-eunnie told us that we're going to pick up food at restaurants to bring to canteen day," cho-reum said.
i nodded, "yes. mommmy has ordered three types of food to bring to your canteen day. chocolate truffles, steak and cheese quesadilla, mac and cheese balls."
four of them wowed. cho-reum clapped excitedly.
"it must be yummy then," dong-won said.
"i ask for my favourite restaurant to make it. i'm sure it's nice," i chuckled.
for two years, i have been neglecting my job as a registered parent in the school the kids are schooling also, i am supposed to give support to the school but i was so busy with work.
luckily my schedule for today was suddenly cancelled and finally, i can participate in school activities that ask parents to be involved in.

hana and her children arrived at the school by eight o'clock. hana brought ah-reum and hye-jin with her too because she was going to need help to carry the food that they have brought.
of course, having hana in the school compound definitely cause a stirrup because none expects hana to be present at the school's canteen day. hana is korea's most well-known k-pop artist and she has received a lot of praise including from countries' presidents.
so, when hana was seen at the school compound, the teachers were the most panicked. including the principal of the school.
hana on the other hand was really calm and did not expect anything. she was surprised when she was welcomed by the principal and the teachers at the entrance of the school.
the school hana enrolled her children in was an international school. it is one of the best and most luxurious private schools in south korea. the study syllabus of the school is based on the united kingdom's education system.
the school welcomes all age ranges of students to enroll in their school. from kindergarten to a-level. they have five different buildings in the school compound.
the passing rate of the school is very high. a lot of people want to enroll in the school but it has a low acceptance rate. only chosen one gets to enter. if you're early and you have money, yes. you can enter. hana has been sending her children there since kindergarten. so, the school favours her a lot.
anyways, hana joined her children at each class. she takes turns visiting their classes and enjoys mingling with the other parents and the teachers.
somehow, it's a fun day for hana. her children are also excited to show off their mother to their classmates. i mean - who wouldn't show off their mother when their mother is well-known in south korea and loved by the community?

while hana was reading a book in the living room when hye-joon came to the living room.
"did you went to sleep just now?" hana asked hye-joon.
"ani," he replied with a no.
hana chuckled and shook her head lightly. she marked the page she was on with a bookmark that cho-reum diy made it for her and placed the book on the coffee table.
"eomma," hye-joon said.
"what?" hana replied before taking a sip from her orange juice glass.
"do you remember when i said i wanted to become a k-pop idol?" he asked hana.
hana looked at him and nodded, "i do."
"i thought about it," he said.
hana nodded, "okay..."
"i don't want to be one. not anymore," he said.
hana raised her eyebrows, "are you sure?"
hye-joon nodded, "i feel like instead of being a k-pop idol, i want to focus on study and being a model at the same time. like you, before."
hana smiled and nodded, "i can support you to do that. that's a good choice of career."
"instead of being a k-pop idol, i would like to be a model more," hye-joon said.
hana nodded, "okay. i don't mind. you're doing great. but wait next year. if you really want to continue to become a model, next year when you're fifteen, i can allow you to accept any invitation you are invited. you can do more next year."
hye-joon smiled and nodded, "and i want to move to prism entertainment next year."
hana raised her eyebrows, "you sure? not sm entertainment or other modeling agencies?"
hye-joon shook her head, "i'm more comfortable with prism entertainment i think."
hana chuckled and nodded, "okay. i'll help you make the paperwork. we'll still have an audition by the way."
hye-joon raised his eyebrows, "me too?"
hana laughed, "what? you think you're getting special treatment?"
hye-joon pouted, "fine. i'll audition."
hana chuckled.

"alright, we're here. let's get down," hana said when their car stopped.
the bodyguards opened the door of the alphard van for them. another car was behind them, joining them. that's the bodyguard's car. hana and her children get out of the van.
"what are we going to shop?" cho-reum asked while holding hana's hand.
"anything you guys want. do you want to eat dinner first or shop first?" hana asked the rest.
"i'm hungry," hye-joon said.
"me too," shin-hye added.
"should we go eat first?" hana asked ah-reum and hye-jin.
"sure. i'm okay with whatever," they replied.
"alright. let's go eat first," hana said as they walked down the streets.
all of them searched for the nearest restaurant and made it inside. the restaurant had a lot of people but luckily they had private rooms which hana had to pay more. but hana didn't bother paying more. as long as they could have a peaceful dinner together.
about an hour later, they finish dinner and start to do some shopping. they didn't go to a mall. mall usually has more expensive things.
myeongdong night market became hana's choice to bring the kids to do the shopping and to buy whatever they want. there are some high-end stores at the night market too but the prices aren't the same as the ones in the shopping mall.
"eomma," shin-hye called while tugging on hana's sweater.
"yeah?" hana turned to look at shin-hye.
"i never got to buy any of your albums. i want to buy your album," shin-hye said while pointing at a k-pop store that they were passing by just now.
hana raised her eyebrows and turned to manager kim. he nodded, "why not?"
"alright, come on. let's do some shopping sprees here. eomma wants to buy some k-pop stuff too," hana said, holding shin-hye's hand and they entered the store together.
the other kids went to other stores with hye-jin and ah-reum. hana had already given her debit card to them which has unlimited money. so, they can buy whatever they want. there's nothing to worry about spending a lot. hana had already stocked up money on her card.
"eomma, i want to see those albums right there," shin-hye said while pointing at the aisle that has all the k-pop female artists' albums.
"alright. go on. i'll go around," hana said before shin-hye walks towards the aisle.
"i thought you bought them your albums," manager kim whispered.
"i didn't," she replied while getting a basket to shop around.
"why didn't you?" he chuckled.
"i mean - i don't see any benefit it gives to my children?" hana replied while walking through another aisle.
"hana, they would love to get their own mom's work of art," manager kim said.
hana chuckled and picked up nct dream's recently released album and put it into her basket.
"i don't know but i don't think they will be proud of their mom's success. i mean - do they even understand the success i've been getting?" hana asked.
manager kim snorted, "why wouldn't they? they got a lot of benefits, becoming a model because of you. you're a superstar. of course they know who you are. of course they're proud having a successful and respected mom in south korea."
hana chuckled and shook her head, "i don't know. but, they can buy if they want to. but, i won't give it to them i think."
"hey, try this next time. give your children the album the moment the first one was printed out and was complete. let your children be your customer. i am pretty sure they will be ecstatic," manager kim said.
hana smiles and nodded, "okay. i'll try that for my upcoming album."
"i'm sure they will feel more proud and happier to be the first to listen to the songs you've been working on. and they are honest. and your songs are all nice. it's impossible for them to say that your songs aren't nice," manager kim said.
hana laughed, "it's possible though."
"yeah, sure."
