🐱 SICK DAY 🐱
[aera: 06 years old]
"appa," aera extends her arms out, still in her bed but her eyes locate yoongi about to leave the room. he turns around with a sigh as the little girl coughs with discomfort, rubbing her eyes with on hand while the other is still asking for him to take her.
"i thought you slept," he says, pulling away the blanket from her and holds her hand, making her stand up. he touches her forehead, feeling the high temperature on the back of his hand while aera shivers lightly, sticking to his body for warmth. "my little girl isn't feeling well today?" he asks softly, not taking her down the bed anymore and sits there instead, pulling the blanket back up to cover him and aera.
"appa, it's so icky..." aera mumbles, "i no' feel good,"
"i know, sweetheart. we'll ask oppa to bring us tasty food and some medicines here. we're gonna eat that and rest for some time, then riri will feel better,"
"mm no medicine..." she pouts, tears rolling down her cheeks already and yoongi sighs, rubbing her back for he knew too that she gets cranky on being sick and wouldn't do anything she doesn't want to.
"okay, no medicine," he agrees, laying down straight and brings aera on top of him, resting her head on his chest, "close your eyes for now," he says. aera nods slowly, her hand clutched on yoongi's t-shirt and cheek pressed against his firm chest, moving once in a while when he would stop stroking her back or when she felt a wave of chills shivering her little body up.
yoongi notices that and turns to his side, keeping aera's petite body warmly in his embrace and tucks the blanket nicely to avoid getting her cold, "appa?" aera mumbles, tilting her head to peek at his face, "appa, stay here— don't go when i' sleeping,"
"yes, baby. appa's not going anywhere," he kisses her forehead, "just close your and sleep for a while. appa's right here,"
"mm," the six-year-old nods, hiding her face in his chest again and drifts back to sleep with yoongi patting her back lightly.

🐱 APPA'S BABY 🐱
[aera: 08 years old]
it's sunday and yoongi's sleeping in the living room, unfortunately on the couch where the younger boys were supposed to have their movie marathon. but none of the two could get enough courage to wake yoongi up from his sleep and ask him to continue elsewhere. to their dismay, jimin and hoseok refused to help as they were busy with their own match of mario cart, namjoon is reading a book and said he wouldn't leave his room until he completes it, then jin, the eldest and yoongi's only hyung, is out for shopping.
jungkook and taehyung watch yoongi in the same position, stretched on the couch, his arm folded above his head to block the light. he has been sleeping there for almost thirty-five minutes, and the boys have been helpless ever since. jungkook tried to wake him once when taehyung forced him to, claiming that he's the youngest brother and yoongi wouldn't get mad at him. however, one deep grunt from yoongi was enough to scare jungkook away. and taehyung, being taehyung, never even attempted to wake yoongi up.
just then aera ran inside, a basketball in her hands and a jersey hanging lose on her small body along with sports shorts. she stops by yoongi, not even hesitating as she shakes his arm, grinning at him, "appa, let's go outside. you said you'll teach me basketball," she says, tapping his arm, while the boys watch her with disbelieving eyes. "appa!" aera calls, putting the ball away and leans on yoongi, cupping his cheeks between her hands as she pecks his lips.
"wake up, appa. let's go out and play,"
yoongi grumbles in response, slowly opening his eyes and finds aera staring at him intently, "hey," his deep voice makes the child giggle, hugging him and yoongi places his hand on her back, "let me sleep for a while. we'll go later," he mumbles.
"no, it'll get dark in some time. we should go now," aera says, pulling her head back to glance at yoongi's face, "please appa?"
"okay fine," yoongi breaks into a chuckle, ruffling aera's hair as he sits up and stretches his body. aera takes his hand, holding the basketball with the other one, dragging yoongi outside, leaving jungkook and taehyung shocked as they got to witness the power she posses like no one else in the house. even jin (the eldest) doesn't enjoy waking yoongi up. but the eight-year-old aera did it with absolutely no problem.

🐱 EOMMA? 🐱
[aera: 06 years old]
aera nods to yoongi's words, pretending her best to fake that she's listening to him when in reality, her eyes were fixed on the girl behind the counter. she's smiling at something the guy next to her said, while also doing her job of the cashier. she's beautiful, blonde, wearing a fitting white t-shirt with the logo of the café on the right side and a matching ball cap on her head, similar to the ones the others working here are wearing.
aera wonders if she's married, for she can imagine her looking good with yoongi. they both will make a good pair, and aera will be able to have an eomma if they start dating. aera giggles at her thought, taking her eyes off from the cashier girl and looks at her cheesecake, taking a tiny bite out of it, which is when yoongi calls her name, drawing attention from her, "yes appa?" she grins at him, taking a spoonful of the cake and holds it out for him to eat.
"you can have it. thank you for asking," he smiles at her, and aera shakes her head, slipping down from her place and moves to the other side of the table, sitting on yoongi's lap instead, "what happened there?"
"nothing," aera says, giving him the spoon and opens her mouth, making yoongi chuckle.
"ah, riri couldn't eat by herself hm?"
"i can eat. but- but i think appa feed riri, and— so the cake is more tasty," she giggles.
"is that so?" yoongi laughs, kissing her cheek.
he feeds her quickly, getting up to leave in a while when he notices aera staring at the girl behind the counter. yoongi chuckles at her, not saying anything as he goes forward to pay for them when aera excitedly introduces herself and yoongi to the girl, "i'm aera, and he's yoongi," she says first, getting a smile from the girl, "he's my appa," yoongi turns to aera, about to tell her not to say stuff like that, but the child is far more enthusiastic on talking to the girl.
"ah, that's nice," the girl chuckles at the information, smiling at yoongi as well, "you have an adorable daughter,"
"uh yeah—"
"thank you," aera says, "it's only me and appa. i don't have eomma. and i think my appa is lonely without eomma,"
"uh oh... i'm sorry to hear that," the girl looks at yoongi hesitantly, understanding that the kid is now oversharing things. while yoongi is busy staring at aera as she carries on.
"yeah, and i think you are so pretty. will you be my eomma? appa and riri will be happy. you should become my eomma and marry appa," aera smiles widely at the girl, getting a horrified face from her as she forces a smile to yoongi, quickly handing him the change.
yoongi panics as well, carrying aera in his arms, giving her a strict gaze before turning to the cashier with a nervous smile, "i'm sorry, she's just a kid. she doesn't know what she's saying," he justifies and the girl returns his awkward smile.
"i-it's okay... thank you for coming," she bows and yoongi walks out of the café in speed, smacking aera's bottom when she tries to wave goodbye to the girl inside.
"don't do this again, aera. that was so embarrassing,"
"but i want eomma," aera pouts, touching her butt where she just got hit.
"gosh! it doesn't work that like, baby,"

🐱 BAD OPPA 🐱
[aera: 05 years old]
"what's going on here?" yoongi's voice makes aera gasp, quickly getting up from her timeout chair as she runs past jimin and hugs yoongi's legs, breaking into a sob as soon as he unwraps her arms around him and carries in his arms. "hey, what's wrong, baby?"
"oppa scolding riri..." aera mumbles, hugging yoongi, her hand pointing back at jimin, who sighs in response, massaging his temples.
"why jimin?" yoongi asks.
"because she's bothering kook since morning. he's trying to do his assignment which is due on monday. he barely does his homework, hyung and today when he's doing it, she keeps messing with him," jimin complains.
"no," aera shakes her head, "i wan'ed to help koo. he said he was— his head is hurting so i take medicine and water for koo. but then water fell in- in koo's homework..."
"you spilled water on his assignments?" yoongi sighs deeply, getting a hesitant 'no' from aera while jimin shakes his head at her. yoongi looks at jimin, seeing that he was about to scold aera more, "it's okay jimin. you can go and help jungkook. she's too young, she didn't mean it, you know that too,"
"he's crying up there and refuses to go to school on monday," jimin states, "i told her already to leave him alone while he's working. but she's been wanting to play for— i don't know how long,"
"she's five, jim. what are you expecting?" the elder frowns, his voice coming more firm and aera sticks more to him, the pout never leaving her lips. "it was an accident and could've happened from anyone. you don't have to react like that. she's just a child, it's fine,"
"what about kook's assignments?"
"well, go and help him. ask joon to join you too,"
"wha—"
"yes, go. and i'm serious, it's nothing that you have to scold your five-year-old sister for,"
"god, hyung, i don't get you," jimin shakes his head, going upstairs while calling for namjoon for help. yoongi heads to the kitchen instead, taking a chocolate from the fridge and opens it for aera, wiping the wet remains of tears from her cheeks.
"bad oppa," aera huffs, taking a bite from the chocolate, shifting more to the edge to be closer to yoongi who chuckles, "why he scolding me? i' so good baby. only appa love riri. appa i love you,"
"aw, i love you more. nobody will scold my princess, appa will scold them first," yoongi kisses her cheek, rubbing her back as she goes on complaining about jimin being unfair to her as he scolded and even made her sit on the timeout chair when she was just trying to help jungkook.
