"Come on Angel let's go" Ajax states pulling Elvira from her thoughts, looking up from her spot on the floor where she took residence watching Ajax dance since she couldn't participate because she didn't have the right clothes and she was too lazy to go and grab some, especially since she liked what she was wearing now which was a white collared shirt with an oversized baby blue sweatshirt on top with a white skirt
Grabbing his hand after seeing it outstretched, Ajax helps her stand up and she smooths her skirt while he grabs their stuff before they walk out both still holding hands again, not that they minded I mean come on they like each other and it's obvious to everybody but them
Walking into Ajax dorm he tells Elvira to get comfortable while he showers before class nodding she does exactly that, sitting on his bed with her grimoire in hand studying some spells, the thing is her book was so big she didn't have time to read all of them hell she doesn't even know what half the spells where or what the do.
Elvira's grimoire was a simple one but she loved it nonetheless. It was a black book with two turquoise diamonds, one on the spine of the book and the other on the cover perfectly in the middle
Her grimoire couldn't be opened by anyone, it needed her blood specifically and since Hope and herself are twins, it opens for her which Elviras trying to find a way to change. It opened by putting a drop of blood on the turquoise on the spine of the book and a password in Latin 'Sancte iuramus sumus usque ad nullum bonum' which roughly translated to 'We solemnly swear we are up to no good' and yes Elvira was a Harry Potter Fan
Looking up when she heard a door open before having to quickly look away as a shirtless Ajax with water running down his chest walked out of the bathroom she shivered "Hey Angel" He smirked seeing her reaction "He-hey Jax" She stuttered clearing her throat "Let me get dressed then we can go alright" He asked
Elvira nodded looking down at her book as Ajax kissed her head before walking back into the bathroom with his school clothes, she smiled they were becoming closer and Ajax was getting bolder which was making her lose her mind with feelings, she was always blushing when he did something she found hot and his eyes always seem to find hers in a crowd on top of that her Wolf and Vampire were both going crazy talking about how they like their mate and how hot he is and how they want to do explicit things to him which she blushed at
She hoped her Uncle had answers for her when he came "Are you ready Angel" Ajax's voice says breaking her from her thoughts "Yea are you" She asks standing up and putting her book away and grabbing her bag "Mhm" He nodded grabbing his, Ajaxs was wearing that horrid uniform with a purple beanie and yet he still somehow looked phenomenally hot to Elvira
After making sure the two had everything they ventured to their last class of the day which was with Ms.Thornhill, walking in Ajax dragged her to Thornhill's desk "Hey Ms.T I accidentally lost the papers again" Ajax said bashfully "I'm going to give you all the materials again and please don't lose them" Thornhill states handing him papers "Aslo Elvira welcome to the conservatory" Thornhill nods getting one in return
"How do you lose him in a bathroom with no windows" Elvira hears Wednesday asks "A lefty wouldn't have failed me" Wednesday retorts after a brief pause "Don't sulk, now I'm going to have to find new evidence myself since your the one who lost our only lead" Wednesday grits out "I see you finally made a friend even if it is a plant" Elvira hears Bianca state
"I go for quality over quantity" Wednesday jabs back "Come on Angel" Ajax dragged her to his seat breaking her out of eavesdropping and making her sit next to him which she didn't mind "That happen often" She asks referring to him losing his work, Ajax nods slightly embarrassed "Yea" He tells her, she smiles at him and shakes her head before taking her grimoire out again "Woah what is that" Ajax asks intrigued by the beautiful book in her hands "This is my spell book" Elvira answers "What's in it" Ajax asks Elvira smiles at his curious state about her book
"Spells that do different things like this one here is a mimicking spell and it has special hand movements" Elvira points to one that reads Imitantor Pupulus while also explaining what it does and how to cast it "Wanna see" She asks Ajax's nods looking curiously "Imitantor Pupulus" She states moving her hands while looking Kent
Ajax watches as Kent raises his hand and hits Divina's shoulder all while he looks confused and creeped out "Hey" He yells slightly scared "Ow asshole" Divina shouts hitting him back, Elvira and Ajax laugh making the twins look at them Elvira picks up her hands while Kent does the same a look of realization coming on Divinas face
"Ria" She scolded "That hurt" She states rubbing her shoulder "Sorry D" Elvira states releasing the spell on Kent who looked amazed "Woah that was awesome just don't do it on me again" He states smiling Elvira nods before looking at Ajax who smiled at her "That was super cool" He tells her brushing his finger lightly against her cheek before moving it away "Thanks" She whispers with a blush turning the front Ajax doing the same with a small smirk
Soon everyone takes their seats and it's just Wednesday standing "There's an open spot next to me if you can stand sitting that close to an elitist snob" Xavier sighs going back to his drawing Elvira looked at him worriedly making him wave her off when he looked up again Wednesday sat next to him while facing him
She watches as Xavier waves his hand over his drawing, Elvira nudged Ajax and nodded towards them as they both watched the spider come alive and crawl towards Wednesday a little "I doubt Wednesday is impressed by your tricks Mr.Thorpe" Thornhills speaks fixing her glasses "Admit it your a little impressed" Xavier tells Wednesday
Wednesday looks at him then the spider that crawls towards her before slamming her hand on it with a blank look on her face the spider disappears in a cloud of graphite making the students besides Elvira laugh Xavier closes his book before looking at the front of the class "Elvira Wednesday we're thrilled to have you join us on our journey to the world of carnivorous plants" Thornhill claps now standing in front of her desk
"Now who can tell us the name of this beauty" She asks pointing to a white flower on her desk Bianca having her hand up before the question was even finished opened her mouth
"Dendrophylax Iindenii" Elvira and Wednesday say in sync, Bianca puts her hand down while speaking "Otherwise known as the ghost orchid" She states looking between them "First discovered on the Isle of White in 1854" Wednesday recites "Very good Wednesday, Elvira" Thornhill states clearly impressed "It looks like your may competition for first chair Bianca" She tells the Siren getting oohs and chuckles from the kids Elvira smirks "Oh she lost first chair a while ago" She smirks getting more oohs and chuckles as well as a glare from Bianca
"Wednesday Elvira perhaps you can identify the ghost orchids' great qualities" Thornhill asks "Resilience" Elvira states "And adaptability" Wednesday finishes "Its ability to thrive in even the most hostile environments" Elvira informs with a smirk "But it's mere presence can change the ecosystem causing the established plants to reject it" Bianca stated with narrowed eyes
"Usually because the native species is allowed to remain unchecked" Wednesday quips "Nothing a weed wacker couldn't fix" Elvira finishes barring her fangs menacingly
"You can certainly try" Bianca whispers loudly to Wednesday not looking at Elvira too scarred not that she would admit it though "Are we still talking about flowers" Xavier pipes up making the class laugh "Thank you ladies for those illuminating insights" Thornhill states as Bianca and Wednesday stare each other down "Clearly the plants aren't the only carnivores in class today" She finishes getting giggles
The rest of the class went smoothly, Ajax and Elvira leaving with the twins Ajax and Kent looking through her spell book intrigued by it while Divina and Elvira whisper about Ajax and how Elvira joined the dance club "I didn't know you could dance" Divina states
"Yea it was one pass time I had back home especially since my family was preoccupied with Hope and didn't notice when I went to dance class and stuff" Elvira explains, Divina side hugs Elvira she knew as much as Elvira talks shit about her family she just for them to love her the same way they do her twin, and as a twin herself Divina couldn't fathom not having Kent in her life
As stupid and as slow as he is, he is still her twin and she wouldn't change that for anything "Well I'm excited to see what you and Ajax cook up" Divina smiles getting one in return walking past Enid and Wednesday he heard Wednesday ask for Enid to cover for her in beekeeping club as well as Enid saying no and that she needed to apologize to Thing before she would help, then Elvira heard Wednesday walk away
it was now afternoon and Ajax and Elvira were sitting in the library as Elvira explained more spells to Ajax while she looked for a book on plants and herbs "Ok and what if I do a hand movement wrong" He asked Elvira froze seemingly disconnecting from the world
Her flashing back to when she was younger and Hope made her do a spell with her. Elvira was against it as they were young and had little experience Hope had more experience than Elvira due to the fact that their aunt taught her but they were still only kids with little training
The spell required a massive amount of magic which the girl didn't have, Hope insisted though telling Elvira if she didn't help then she wouldn't get ice cream when they go out later, Elvira never went out with her family as they'd always forget about her but she didn't want to hear Hope complain so she helped
The spell that they were using was one to resurrect a person when Elvira saw this she questioned who Hope wanted to resurrect, Hope wanted their grandmother resurrected wanting to get to know her instead of what she heard from her family, Elvira thought this was a bad idea and was proved right when Hope did a wrong hand movement causing an explosion to happen
Hope was thrown against the bookcase while Elvira was sent down the stairs tumbling to a fall breaking her wrist, while her family all fussed around Hope Freya told them Elvira messed it up since Hope had a little more experience than her and couldn't have messed it up her parents sent her to her room not checking if she was alright or not in their words "How could you let her do this you're better than that"
It wasn't her job to watch her OLDER sister, it wasn't her job to convince Hope not to do things it wasn't her job to give Hope her things it wasn't her job to be a second choice it wasn't "BABY" A voice yelled breaking her from her mind, her eyes focusing she was meet with a worried Ajax who was cupping her face while kneeling in front of her somehow she made it to the ground with her legs on either side of her and her hands between them "Baby" He called she looked into his chocolate brown eye she's grown to love since she first saw them
"Your crying" He whispers wiping her tears "Why are you crying" He asks she shakes her head denying it, Elvira hasn't cried in years the last time she cried cried was when she killed the man trying to take her "No" She said shaking her head "Yes you are Angel your crying" He states wiping the tears that fell from her eyes
Reaching up she touched her cheek indeed feeling wetness making sobs rack her body, completely breaking down "I just wanted them to love me" She whispers brokenly collapsing into his chest as more sobs wracked her body "I just wanted them to love me" She cries hitting his chest, he doesn't react just pulling her against him tighter "Why didn't they love me" She asks crying in his hold
"I don't know Angel" He muttered "I don't know" He repeats smoothing her hair and whispering calming words as she cries "Its okay Angel" He states feeling her slowly start to become heavier falling asleep her sobs receding into tiny sniffles, "I got you, I got you Angel" He tells her lulling her into a deep sleep "And I'll love you" He mutters against her head "I'll love more than your family should have" He reassured kissing her head lightly watching as she slept with a tear-stained face one lone tear falling from her eye
