You know if you told me five minutes ago that a player couldn't keep up with someone that is walking as slow as possible I would've looked at you funny but nonetheless
That's why I am finding myself in right now. It turns out that the girl I saved named Maple had 0 agility and if you compare it to my 190 agility
-_- It results in making the simple act of walking seem like you are a champion runner so instead of walking, a snails pace I offered to give her a piggyback to it. She appreciated. I'm still finding myself godsmack by it
" Wow so you been playing this game for ever since its first event must admit that's pretty sure that must make you pretty experienced huh"
I asked to Maple as we were just entered the town and while we were walking, we started getting to know one another trying to get to know each other and sharing some stories in game, although I've been making sure to keep out anything related to the real world sense we just got to know each other and making sure that my class of Shadow Monarch is kept underwraps since my plan is to try to keep it hidden till I enter the PVP event that's gonna happen in 5 days
' From what I read about it's a single player event. That's actually quite simple players are going to be competing against one another any open map trying to take out as many players as possible the winner of the event is allowed to get a reward of a equipment set that is wrapped into the type of build you have as well as the chance of apparently getting a familiar of which I heard is really rare that only a few players have, and that something that I'm really interested in it. Apparently, this familiar is going to be different than others that's been released so far and I'm curious on what it is'
" Oh, I wouldn't call myself that since it's the only real game I ever played and I still have things to learn and beside I'm just playing like everyone else in this game" she said so innocently that you would have thought that she was playing it off
' -_- Yeah giving yourself zero agility is definitely a normal thing to do even though my vitality is at zero at least I have skills and plenty of agility to make up for it'
Although, I guess as they say for each their own although I am quite curious what level she is because I want to see what the growth rates of our players are like compared to mine with the Climbing Solo boost to my level so,let me check with Sharp Observer

???: " Oh, Maple there you are we've been looking all over for you and who is this?"
'Well, Igris guess it's safe to think that I am going to meet more people and it's about to get more interesting'
Igris: 'It appears so my liege' he said in my shadow where he's been watching the whole time or along with the rest of the knights

I looked over and saw a group of people walking towards us so I sat down Maple who got off my shoulders, and went over to where they were at since it would appear that she knows
" Oh, hey guys yeah sorry about that I just went out to the field to play with the sheep whe-"
When someone in her group who look like a female samurai said with a straight face
???: "-_- You got stuck with Woolly again, didn't you?"
To which it responded to Maple to scratch the back neck sheepishly to which the others sweat drop at resulting in a girl look like to be a Swashbuckler a class similar to my assassin class to say
???: "*Sigh* Oh Maple what are we gonna do with you?" she said well, shaking her head to Maple just scratched her cheek with a embarrass blushed
It was then that a guy that look like Klein a gaming buddy of mine from another game what was it called again? Oh doesn't matter but with a shield turned me and said
???: "Oh who is this Maple is he a friend of yours?" he said while looking like he was trying to figure out if he knew me from somewhere, which I just responded with a smile"
It was then Maple, turned to me and said
"Alright I almost forgot everyone this is Sung Jinwoo he's a new friend of mine that I met while in the fields, and he also is the one that brought me out of that jam with the wool" she said in a chipper voice to which I chuckled this girl was definitely full of energy that's for sure
" Hello there it's nice to meet you all my name is Sung Jinwoo a Assassin I just started this game yesterday I hope we can get along"Ok something tells me that a few players in this group are going to be in the next event so I want to make sure I still have the element surprises when the time comes for it
It was then that her groups interest as a look me with warm expressions, but the same time calculatingly as while but it was a pair of twins from there looks and if I had to determine there class I would say Warrior walked up to me in Maple speed (A/N: See what I did there)
and asked in curiosity
??? & ???: "Oh really it's nice to meet you thank you for helping our big sis and our names are Yui & Mai it's a pleasure to meet you"
OK I just had to say that those two are a cute as a pair of buttons and it took everything in my will not to hug them I know for sure that Kaori & Asuna would be squealing at their cuteness and hug them
And I just smiled and patted their heads in greeting to which they smiled
' From the looks of it they seem to be around Kotori age'
Kotori my little sister in the real world she's really precious to me and I would have introduced her, but she's at a sleep over right now
I then turned and saw a woman who seems to be a Crafter and I remembered spotting her when I was looking around town yesterday
???: " Well it's nice to meet you my name is Iz a Crafter if you ever need any new weapons just come by that is if you have the materials and money for it
Yep I definitely know her type she's definitely like a certain blacksmith and merchant I know
' Man if Liz comes in this game shes gonna have some competition' I thought well only imagining a meeting between those two would be like and I do not want to be in the middle of it
I was broken out of my thoughts when the same guy who asked me earlier, came up to me and extended his hand and said
???: " Nice to meet you my name is Chrome a great shielder that definitely explains why I didn't recognize you. I hope you are enjoying the game so far"
I don't know if I like the way that he put it that unthat he's a pretty cool guy if he you get to know him, I just hope to whatever god's in this game that he's not too much like Klein as I returned the handshake
I then looked over and saw the samurai girl from my before bow say
???: " My name is Kasumi a samurai thank you for helping Maple out I hope we can get along" she said politely and formally like a real samurai to which I smiled and returned the bow
I can tell that me and Kasumi were around the same age and I can't help but be entranced by her grace and beauty if it wasn't used to be being around other beautiful woman, both in game and IRL I know for sure I would've stood there like an idiot
" Well, it's nice to meet you as well Kasumi-san and it's also good to see that people are not just sticking to the European style of swordsman classes"
The suffix caught her off guard for a second, but smiled and replied
" Indeed I'm more into the eastern style in the European style here and from the way that you are talking, you have quite a knowledge as well"
To which I smiled and thought
' Something tells me that me and her are gonna get along just fine also it seems like the others are quite friendly as well although I'm just going off of first impressions however'
I finally turned to the last two members of the group one of them is looking at me like sizing me up or trying to get a good read on me but sadly for her I developed a excellent poker face thanks to a certain Sniper so instead of taking it by offense by it instead I rested my left hand on my cheek with a smirk rested on my face and replied
" As flattering as it is to have a beautiful girl staring at me I would like to at least get acquainted with the person if don't mind me asking" I said in a slightly teasing tone which got quite the reaction if I say so myself by her face having a paused gasp before quickly, covering her face with her hands
???: "Don't make assumptions like that dummy anyway, I was just trying to get a good read on you which clearly I couldn't but I guess if Maple is cool with you than you are with me anyway, my name is Sally and I'm a swashbuckler it's nice to meet you I guess"
My curiosity on her class confirmed I can tell so far is anyone in this group was going to participate in the event is gonna be her, and Kasumi because both of their classes are good at PVP fights and maybe by chance the other two shielders Maple and Chrome but from the others I am not too sure
I then turned to the last member of the group who seems like a mage or a caster on the way that he was dressed up I was also going to fascinated it by the Rubiks cube looking artifact I'm sure there's more to it then meets the eye till I snapped on my thoughts when I heard him say
???: " I guess I 'm last to introduce themselves, my name is Kanade a mage and the artifact you're seeing is the Akastic Records a special type of staff and if you ever want to play chess or something, just let me know"
I tell he was more powerful than when he looked because I remember reading about the staff Akastic Records and they can only be game by completing different puzzles in library that means is intelligence was extremely high and really smart and I think I wouldn't mind sitting down and play Shoki with him
" Well, it's nice to meet you as well and I wouldn't mind taking you up on that offer"
I said while smiling and I have to say this was a quite the unique group and pretty well balanced in a odd way and they would be a tough bunch to go up against the good thing that the event that's coming up it's not a team battle
I turned to Maple as she was smiling that I was getting along with her friend and she said
Maple: " So what do you think of our guild "
"I have to say that you all are looking really strong I can tell there any grip that start against you guys are going to have a tough time" I said, as I quickly take this opportunity to check them out with Sharp Observer

'Wow everyone here is strong, but not so strong to the point that I can't see there level so far Maple and Sally are the strongest with Kasumi as a close second now I know what level to be around when entering the tournament'
Igris: ' Indeed now that you know about some of the opposition facing you can now on my level you should surpass and and also getting new skills is that you can totally crush the competition you can also count on our support as well'
' Thank you for the support Igris there's no way that we can lose with your guys suppor-'
Suddenly Sally spoke to Maple
" Anyway, Maple, Kasumi, Yui we need to get going. We still need to practice for the event if we're going to be partners for the event after all"
' What ?' 'What ?' Both me and Igris thought at the same time because to our knowledge the event solo event not a group, unless they uploaded it I guess there is only one way to find out
" Wait are you talking about the upcoming event?" I asked curiously, not trying to give away too much interest Sally turned to me and said
"That's right upcoming event is a 4 team event if you're going to participate, you're going to need 3 other players "
Well crap I guess they changed it wouldn't be the first time they scrapped the idea of an event in replaced it with a new one, but this does present a new problem. I'm going to need to team up with 3 other play in order participate and I can't exactly have Igris or any of my other shadows to be my partner since I need 3 other players
" Well that's good to know thank you for the information Sally I appreciate it" I said, with a smile to which she just turned her head away which I consume was a small blush
" Yea whatever just make sure if you're in it to not die too quickly before I could get a shot at you, anyway we have to go thank you again for helping Maple"
She said turning away while walking off the others just chuckled at to which Iz commented saying
" My my is someone is such a sundere anyway, we gotta go if you want any weapons made come to me and I'll make it for you if you have the materials"I then stopped and stopped thought about it and I did something in mind so I grabbed some of metal that I received from killing the knights and said
" Well, if you're offering, can you make me a new pair of daggers if it's not too much trouble" I realized with my fight with Igris I needed some daggers I can use that could penetrate with tough armor, almost like a Armorslayer
She then look at the metal and whistles saying on how tough it is to run across the kind of metal and asked me where I got thing to I said I got it from going into an event dungeon, which is not too much of a lie I just wanted to keep my abilities under wraps to the event
To which she accepted and about any specifications I wanted and said that she'll have them done that a day before the event to which I was glad for
Timeskip
Currently me, Igris and the rest of the shadow knights were back in the fields for the last two hours in orders for me to know exactly how to use my shadows effectively apparently, how it works is that it's almost like Fire Emblem and where are you have to order your units how do you pacific actions thankfully, you can do the same thing through thought communication which spares me the trouble and I have to say I got a lot of interesting ideas in different formations that me and shadows could do the second thing with that is that I also learned that Igris can you teach me about swordsmanship apparently any shadows that are knight class or higher could teach me more on swordsmanship or any weapon that their profession with, and increase my proficiency with it, which was a godsend, since I didn't know how I was going to do that with juggle mastering my new class and working with my daggers this was a good bonus I needed but I'm going I hold off until the events are over so that way I can shock the whole game
I know I'm sounding ambitious that's kind of my personality when it comes to RPGs to me if you can't reach for the sky when it comes to goals in these games, then there's no point in even playing that's just how my mindset is
But still I'm troubled on how I'm going to find three party members to join me on this event like seriously I just got here and I don't know anyone besides maple and her friends that would help me it's not like I don't know people that are willing to. It's just that I don't know any people in this game that would want to join me.
'Seriously this is a major pain in the-' I was cut off Mid-rant when suddenly I felt some of my soldiers were engaged to two enemy but these ones were a lot stronger and then my shadow are in assistance and I turned to Igris who had a determined look on, like knowing well what I was thinking
We took off to where they were located which thankfully wasn't too far out once there we came across two players, both of them redheads one had a huge battle axe which I was surprised that
She could even lift the thing wearing a she wears a white kimono and has a pair of horns sticking out from her ribbons.
She always wore a red blouse with a black overcoat. Below, she wore a white and red skirt with white leggings that has red ribbons and at her belt her two swords hung
They were both quite lovely, especially the second girl, but right now I need to stand up for my knights so once they were close enough, I saw both of them about to strike down of my knights both me and Igris quickly activated Quicksilver who I taught which I learned I could do if any shadows had traits that could benefit them
I blocked the look-alike Oni and Igris blocked the dual-wielder which surprise them quite a bit understandably before we kick them back to us, and landed on their feet looking at us intently, until the Oni look like said
???: " Who the hell are you two and why did you stop us?!" pretty obvious she was rather irritated right now while the other seem more calm, but looking at us with a wary look
" My name Sung Jinwoo and this is a Igris one of my knights along with the other two" I said calmly gesturing to my other two shadows to which ones they saw me and bowed before going into my shadow with surprised the redheads and the dual-wieldier said
???: "Wait those knights were your familiars o-h and my name Rain this little fire cracker is Kaori" I then reason eyebrow and thought
'Wait Kaori' their names seem really familiar to me and I think about it their faces although the difference in appearance and their voices
My eyes widened as I was looking at Rain's outfit seemed really familiar and so did Kaori face before it hit me
" Wait Nijika and Kotori!" I said out of surprise which obviously caught the two off guard who were probably surprised that I knew there name
Nikki's Karatachi aka Rain is a 17 year old who is 5 feet tall with a hourglass figure who has a sliver/ brown hair and honey colored eyes
I knew her since middle school and is my classmate in the high school I tend who also works at a maid café that I love to go to and is my favorite maid there we also get together as well to play video games or to hang out it kind of makes sense now I think about it why wouldn't she be in this game
And this Kotori my little sister, that I mentioned earlier she is 13 years in middle school there's not much of a difference in appearance but in terms of personality, is the most accurate, because Kotori has three different personalities depending on the situation one being her character changes according to the color of the ribbons she's wearing. While wearing white ribbons or not wearing any, she is that of her "weak self", a delicate little sister who is very dependent upon her big brother; and when wearing black ribbons, she becomes her "strong self", a charismatic and sometimes domineering leader able to lead the student councils in her middle school. And finally her PVP Gamer Side that I learned about whenever we face each other in Mortal Kombat would she becomes an aggressive and merciless fighting machine, who only cares about battling enemies to the end
Kotori and Nijika both looked at me surprise before they got there own realization
"Oni-Chan and Y/n !!!" they both said in bewilderment"

Hello, everyone's it's been while sorry for the late update been meaning to update it but I got caught up in school and I also didn't help that I got caught up in Fire Emblem Engage so my schedules been swamped but at least I'm back.Anyway I know this last chapter wasn't really that interesting maybe funny for a few, but it can be helped not every episode, be exciting anyway, next time Sung Jinwoo how to figure out who's his partner is going to be well Also figuring out the situation with learning his sister and one of his friends is in the game till then see ya.
