Y/n's POV:
"Could you pick up the pace?!!" i raised my voice at selen as i squeezed her hand even tighter, running through the streets on campus
"...Y/n slow down we're bumping into people, i dont understand why you waited so last minute to redeem your coupon" selen whispered loudly
I take pride in my coupons especially when it comes to convenience stores ¢‿¢, speaking of convenience stores that's where my roomie selen and i are running off to in the middle of the night. This isn't anything new since we often let out stupid intrusive thoughts overboard our actions
"You know how busy i was all week" i said making a dead plan face, as we continued to run
"Didn't you skip the group project meeting for one of your classes yesterday to watch some twitch streamer" she added on giggling holding onto my hand even tighter
"I STILL DID MY PART FOR THE PROJECT ☉▵☉凸" i said in a embarrassed tone blushing a bit

↳ Convenience store - 12:05 am
Y/n's POV:
We eventually made it to the convenience store...out of breath, both of us crouching resting our hands on our knees taking a quick breather for a sec
we went into the store rushing to the meal isle to pick up some beef meat while it was still on sale. Selen slightly peeked an eye before entering the isle before me and noticed a familiar person
"OUCH- DONT PUSH ME BACK-" i bickered before i got cut off by selen putting her hand over my mouth as we hide in the previous isle
"Shhh It's him" she whispered holding me close to her
what does she mean "him"?
"..selen stop being weird and get off me" i pushed her off me, looking at her funnily
"Ill grab the meat myself" i stomped off into the meat isle leaving selen stranded in the previous isle

...
...
Is that who i think it is..CANT BE????, i can't let him see me like this in the middle of the night...and especially since i made that promise awhile back ago when he broke up with me
"Y/n? Y/n l/n from high school?" Shu yamino exclaimed
...Ah yes Shu yamino my ex boyfriend from high school ლ（'∀'ლ）, all i have to say is that it is a lonnnnnggg story from sleepless nights and visiting a whole different country, yeah it was a pretty traumatic experience
I quickly put up my hood up and covered my face with my hair, "i- er- who is that?" I stuttered looking away from him while still trying to reach for beef in the isle
"Are you sure? You sound really similar to her" he questioned again, looking at me attempting to hide my face, still trying to reach for the beef
"*cough* *cough* what do you mean man..I dont know who that y/n girl is, HA- anyways who would name their child y/n what a weird name ●‿●..." i talked in a deep voice, literally insulting myself while a sweat dropped from my face
good job me!...is this the best you got
I finally grabbed the meat and was ready to head off before he started suspecting more things, i can only keep up this act for so long since i know he was good at reading people especially me when we were dating
"IM STARVING OVER HERE AND I STILL HAVE SOME HOMEWORK TO FINISH" selen hollered from the isle behind shu and I, i turned around and gave her a blank stare while still covering the other half of my face
Shit I almost forgot that selen was still waiting on me and now he will definitely know that I'm y/n since he knew selen also..i sprinted running dropping the meat on the ground before he started questioning further more. Not caring that i left selen behind as i tried to make my run for it
"..She'll get you back one day ಠ_ృ" selen pointed at him, picking up the meat off the floor as he stared at her with a confused face
I overheard the comment that she made, so i went back to grab her hand so we could leave

↳ Later that night - 1:00 am
Y/n's POV:
"DO YOU THINK HE SAW MY FACE??!?!"
"DOES HE KNOW WHO I AM!!?"
"SINCE WHEN DID HE ATTEND THIS COLLEGE?" I asked selen screaming and moping into my pillow, hoping and praying that this was all just a fever dream
"Y/n more importantly why didnt you at least look at him? I mean you made yourself look even more suspicious covering your face" she asked me while sitting at her desk trying to compete some school work
I made a promise to him and myself after he broke up with me that i would rip up shreds of papers and dump it all over him, now thinking about it...his punishment should've been harsher
I turned over on the bed so i could face the wall filled with a bunch of random posters, I couldn't help but sigh and deflect off Selens question, "I dont want to miss him again..I'm doing so much better for myself right now, I can't fall back into that stage of my life again" i said in a more monotone voice, squeezing the pillow a bit more tighter
Selen paused what she was doing and turned over from her seat to look over at me facing the wall, she sighed a bit
"Listen if he ever comes near you i promise ill karate chop him, so dont sweat it" she tried to comfort me throwing a pencil at my back
"Also coffee on me tomorrow morning" she offered me, i turned around throwing the pencil back at her
"Oh really? Then ill order the most expensive coffee combo on the menu" i scoffed smirking at her
"Bitch..."
"HA-" I giggled
"You're still gonna make homemade Korean bbq tomorrow since you didnt buy the meat today" she said in a rude tone, picking up the pencil i threw and then getting back to her homework

↳ Later that night - 1:47 am
Shu's POV:
"I feel like i made her felt really uncomfortable in that very moment"
"Why did she try to hide her face from me?"
"Why haven't i seen her around campus" i continued to whine to Luca, as i stared at the ceiling laying down on the ground
I couldn't help but endlessly think about what happened in the convenience store, from her covering her face with her hair, talking in a deep voice and blatantly lie in front of my face. I really thought we left off on a good note when i broke up with her but supposedly not
"Dude you broke up with her, of course she wouldn't want to face you after that" Luca said while playing on his Nintendo switch
"Also didnt she mention something about shredding paper on you if she ever saw your face again?" He continued to comment
"..She did tell me that" i smacked both of my palms onto face groaning, kicking my feet a bit
"I dont want to start feeling bad for breaking up with her again...remember the first week our brake up you had to drag me out of bed every single day for 3 months?" I asked dropping my arms down to the ground and continued to sulk at the ceiling
"Yeah...you really did love her didnt you, still dont understand why both of you couldn't just work it out" he said pausing a bit before continuing to play his game
"..." i closed my eyes a bit to sink in what Luca just told me
"just know man that whatever happens between you and her i'll take your side" he comforted me, i turned my head to face luca still playing on the switch
"i can guarantee you that you wont ever see her again, also coffee on me tomorrow!" he added on
"thanks dude we should probably go to sleep, we have morning classes tomorrow" i gave him a reassuring smile that i'll be okay
he might actually be right, i mean y/n and i are both in our 3rd year of college and we haven't bump into each until now so what are the chances of us meeting again?....

i'm back with a new story after 2 years :> i plan on updating 1 chapter every 2-3 weeks, n e ways i really hope you guys enjoy this series!!
