No one can hear my screams.
I look around as everyone stares at me, but as I look in their eyes, they're all glazed over. I try to say something, but the words freeze stick in my throat. no words come out. They're getting closer, and as they're faces start to morph into horrifying memories, my heart sputters, beating faster and faster until it physically hurts . My mind goes wild, crazy with thoughts of insecurities, depression, my darkest fears. I can't take it. I finally scream, but it doesn't stop them. They start scratching at my skin, peeling away my hopes and dreams. And when they're done, I'm left feeling exhausted with no where to go and no where to run. My body is sore from all the shaking as I fade back into reality.
