The car rolled on for a while.
The entire time, Sunoo was forming a plan.
He wasn't going to let this be the end.
Kai now sat up, looking towards the front of the van. Jaeseok drove on without a care in the world.
Sunoo waved his hands to get Kai's attention.
"?", is the expression Kai's face made.
Sunoo pointed to Jaeseok. He made motions with his hands like punching, and a steering wheel.
"Fight him?", Kai mouthed.
"Yes. When car stops.", Sunoo mouthed back.
On the floor of the van next to the boys, Beomgyu started to move around.
He sat up and looked at the two boys, who were having a quiet conversation. He tapped Kai on the shoulder.
The maknae finally noticed him and hugged him.
"Why is my shirt wet?", he mouthed.
"I thought you were dead.", Kai replied, whispering.
"Oh...was I?"
Sunoo also felt movement next to him.
He heard slight coughing and saw his friend waking up.
Hanbin looked around confusedly, his eyes finally landing on Sunoo. He smiled.
Sunoo scooted over to him, helping him sit up against the back of the passenger seat.
"How do you feel?", he whispered.
"Everything...hurts...", Hanbin responded, in the only, barely audible tone he could produce.
Kai and Sunoo filled the other two in on the plan.
Beomgyu was all for it, as he had been waiting to beat Jaeseok up again.
Previously, he had gotten to him and punched him so hard in the side, he might have broken one of Jaeseok's ribs.
The car came to a stop.
The four boys looked at each other.
Sunoo told Hanbin to run, and find help, as they fought Jaeseok. The unfortunate man was in no condition to fight for himself.
It was now or never.
The door to the van opened.
"Now!", Kai yelled.
The three boys jumped out, tackling Jaeseok to the ground.
Kai and Sunoo held his arms back as Beomgyu landed punch after punch in the man's side once more, causing him to scream in pain.
Hanbin slowly got out of the van, falling on the dirt ground outside. He stood up, wobbling, before doing like Sunoo said and leaving to find help.
"Now, the fun part.", Beomgyu said.
He stood up off of Jaeseok.
The older man was in too much pain to try and fight back. Beomgyu had surely broken something.
As Beomgyu was going towards the van to get something, Sunoo noticed the blood stream on the back of his head.
Kai saw it too, but decided to focus on it after.
Beomgyu came back with a solid metal pole from the floor of the van.
He stood over Jaeseok.
Kai and Sunoo moved aside.
"You have tortured us, for two years. You have made life hell, for too long! You don't deserve to live."
He raised the pole.
"I'll see you in hell, Kwon Jaeseok."
"Wait! Just...", Jaeseok started, "Tell me sister I'm sorry."
"Sister?", Sunoo said.
"Sohee."
Sunoo and Kai looked at each other.
"Might have to kill her too. Now bye."
Beomgyu swung the pole as hard as he could, it landing directly on the side of Jaeseok's head.
He hit him again, and again, and once more for confirmation.
Kai watched with pure admiration in his eyes. Sunoo as well.
Beomgyu dropped the pole.
"You did it!", Kai said.
He turned to them.
Under the moonlight you could see his face had gone pale.
"Gyu?", Sunoo asked.
The boy couldn't respond before he fell to the ground.
Kai immediately ran over to him, holding him in his arms.
"Hey, what's wrong?", he asked.
Beomgyu tried to speak, but for some reason, he couldn't. His eyes just stayed fixated on Kai.
"Sunoo something is really wrong! What do we do?!", Kai asked panicking.
"I don't know! Hanbin went for help so...umm..."
Sunoo was now realizing it may have been a bad idea to send the then most severely injured person by themselves.
"Well fu-"
"Language.", Kai said.
"Really?"
Beomgyu grabbed Kai's hand.
His breathing got heavier and heavier as the seconds went by.
"You're gonna be okay. Help will be here, and then we'll all go home together alright?"
Beomgyu struggled to pull together a smile.
Sunoo looked around the area.
"I'll go catch up with Hanbin. Will you be okay here?", he asked.
"Y-yeah.", Kai responded.
Sunoo got up and ran off in the direction of Hanbin.
Kai now still sat on the floor, holding Beomgyu.
"Come on, where's that smile huh? I haven't seen it much today."
Beomgyu once again did his best to smile at Kai.
The younger noticed him starting to shake a bit. His arm, that was holding Kai's hand, had a tight grip on him.
Kai watched as his members face scrunched up in pain.
Beomgyu started hyperventilating at this point, and his other arm went completely stiff.
Kai now knew exactly what was happening.
He quickly took off the jacket he had on, rolling it up to place under Beomgyu's head as the boy started having a full-blown seizure.
"What do I do...what do I do...", Kai said.
He looked towards the place Sunoo had ran off to.
"Please hurry back...please..."
In less than ten minutes, Sunoo had caught up with Hanbin.
He now helped his friend walk as they made their way through the trees.
"My members are going to freak out when I show up.", Hanbin laughed.
"Oh I already know. They're probably plotting revenge for scaring them so badly."
"Hehe, sure they are."
The pair could see what looked like a distant light. A lantern?
"Hello!", Sunoo yelled, "Hello we need help!"
The two boys continued to move forward, towards the lantern light.
It came towards them as well.
Eventually it stopped.
As Sunoo and Hanbin got closer, they saw the silhouette of a young lady under the light.
She immediately ran up to the boys when she saw their condition.
"My God! What happened to you boys?!"
"Bad man...killed someone, and the test is history.", Hanbin said.
She ushered the two boys ahead of her, moving them towards the campsite she had made.
"Our friends are back at the van. They need help!", Sunoo said.
The woman sat them down at the campsite.
"I'll call for help. Here, take this supply kit and help your injured friend here."
She handed Sunoo a supply kit before going to find her phone.
Sunoo opened it, going through the materials to find something to help Hanbin.
The older had several bruises and gash marks on his stomach.
Jaeseok had repeatedly kicked, punched, and attemped to slice at him with a pocket knife, all because Hanbin was protecting Sunoo.
As the younger of the pair began to work on his friend, Hanbin took notice of the look on Sunoo's face.
"It's okay Sunoo, it's over now."
"You think so?"
"I do. All we have to do is deal with Sohee, and we'll be fine...ow!"
"Sorry. Cuts are not my area of expertise."
"Just don't kill me man."
"I'll try."
The woman was speaking on the phone, telling the 911 operator the situation.
"They'll be here in ten minutes!", she said.
"Thank you!", Hanbin replied.
"You seem better already."
"I feel a bit better, with first aid Master Sunoo helping me."
"Oh shush."
