jah put his phone down and sighed, he know she got hella friends that are niggas but he also knows that she used to have a thing with autumn and as much as he loves her, he doesn't fully trust her as she doesn't fully trust him
scheme noticed jah looking at his phone with a worried look on his face and tapped him "you good vro?" he asked jah and he shook his head "ion know, kat just told me she finna go link with that nigga autumn and like they used to fuck with each other so i'm just worried i guess" he replied and scheme nodded his head
"honestly, i think you just gotta let her do her. if she really loves you, then she gon make sure nothing happens. if she does let something happen, then that tells you all you need to know bout how much you and y'all relationship means to her" he told jah and he nodded agreeing with scheme
meanwhile back in dc, tana was currently being a passenger princess in autumn's car controlling aux as she does in everyones car
they were currently listening to telegraph ave/oakland by childish gambino and just sitting in silence as they passed the blunt back and forth before autumn pulled up to where they were going

it was lit up with fairylights and you could faintly hear the sound of fireflies, this place didn't close till about 3 am and it was currently 11:09 pm
they got a table and tana pulled her knees up to her chest in her booth, she smiled at autumn "benji, i missed you" she told him and he rolled his eyes playfully
"yea i missed you too shordy, how shit been? i heard you all cuffed n shi" he teased and now she was the one playfully rolling her eyes

"good! now let's order sum cus these munchies is kickin" she told him and they both laughed as the waitress came over and took there orders. their food came out and they both started eating while just talking about shit
tana was enjoying herself but she also felt guilty, she felt guilty about how easy it was for everyone else she's messed with to deal with her
while she always gave jah a hard time while she was so chill with everyone else, it made her think about why she was like that towards him
autumn could tell she was thinking about something, "shordy, you good?" he asked her and she shrugged "kinda? i don't know i just thought about something and now i feel bad" she replied
"word? what you thought about?" he questioned and she sighed "how hard of a time i give jah, i always assume he doing shit or just don't put faith in him the way that i should even though he's shown me time and time again how much he loves me and how much he cares for me" she said to autumn
he nodded his head as he processed what she said, "honestly shordy, you gotta learn to let go. you always been like this, lettin ya head fuck up ya life. you gotta stop doin that shi, detach yourself from your past, live in the moment" he told kat as she nodded her head
"you're right benji, always is too" she said and he smiled at her "you ready?" he asked and she nodded her head returning the smile
they got up and autumn paid at the register before the two left and got back in his car. they rode in a comfortable silence until he pulled up outside kat's house
he turned to her "remember what i said ma, you and x gon be ight just let go" he told her and she nodded before leaning over and hugging him
"bye benji" she said as she got out and walked to her house, she opened the door just as autumn pulled off
she closed it and locked it behind her before going upstairs to her room and closing her door. she slid her crocs off before taking off her hoodie and throwing it in her hamper as she walked to her bed
she bellyflopped down which caused mink to jump slightly which made her laugh "minkie it's okay girl" she said still laughing at her startled cat
her laughter died down just as her phone started ringing, to her surprise it was scheme facetiming her
she shrugged and answered it "yo wassup" she said as schemes face popped up on her phone, he just started laughing "yo boyfriend in here crying cus he miss you" he told her which made her start laughing again as she heard jah throw something at scheme in the background before snatching his phone
first thing she was jah's indigo locs that he had tied up in a pineapple shape appear in the camera then she saw his whole face
"hey papa, how you doin" kat said with a smile on her face which made him smile too "i'm good baby, how was y'all smoke sesh?" he asked and she stuck her tongue out over her lip kinda (ion know how to describe it but it's some shit i be seeing tt girls do) while doing a lil dance "ouu that shit was great, benji got that good good forreal. i'm finna sleep good as a bitch tonight" she replied and he laughed
"well damn ma, least that shit was good. y'all end up hitting the stu or nah?" he asked and she shook her head no "nah but we got some torch ass food bruh, then we just talked about shit" she told him and he nodded
"what y'all talk about?" he questioned and she shrugged "just life n shi, he gave me some advice bout sum but anyways off that. you wanna see sum?" she asked with a devilish smile and he shrugged "sure i guess?" he said confused as she set her phone down
he looked at her saw her tiny black shorts and her black tanktop before she slowly lifted her tanktop over her boobs
"look they match!" she said referring to her nipple rings matching her bellybutton but all jah could focus on was her boobs
