I wake up later that night and look at the clock.
"1:45AM"
"are you shitting me" i think to myself. I decide to get up and go for a walk, being as I cant fall back asleep.
I went to sit on the mess hall steps.
afew minutes later, I hear my cabin door rush open and closed, along with footsteps running outside.
I stand up to see Tommy rushing toward me, before pulling me into a tight hug.
"what is it? what happened?" I ask him.
"you weren't-" he stops, letting me go, to catch his breath.
"Is everything okay?" I put my hand on his shoulder.
"yes. yeah everything is fine." he sighs.
"I just woke up and you weren't there so.." he looks down, realizing how embarrassing he looked.
"Awh so you care about me that much?" I joke.
"Shut up!" he pushes my arm.
"CAN YOU TWO GET BACK HERE AND GO TO SLEEP?" Nick calls from the cabin.
we both laugh, before walking back.
"why were you outside anyway?" Tommy asks me.
"I couldn't sleep" I reply.
"ah"
once we walk into the cabin, we're greeted by Nick and Ziggy sitting on my bed.
"soo, what were you two doing up this late?" ziggy smiles.
"I really hate you" I reply.
"I woke up and Y/n wasn't in her bed so I went to find her." Tommy says, obviously tired.
"jeez did you do a lap of the camp before you found me?" I joke.
"maybe I did. you'll never know" Tommy walks to his bed and sits down.
I sit on the floor, being as ziggy and nick are on my bed.
"you can ask us to move ya know." Nick stands up.
"oh really? I thought since im a shadysider im meant to do your bidding" I joke.
"I really hate you" he climbs onto his bed.
"awh darn" I sit next to ziggy.
I look at the clock.
"2:30AM"
"holy shit time passes by fast." I say.
"yeah when youre sneaking out" Tommy chuckles.
"shut up" I smile.
"get a rooom" nick says from his bed.
"awh you ruined the moment" ziggy jokes.
"im going back outside at this point" I look at Tommy, to find him blushing.
"please dont leave me with these rodents" he laughs.
"RODENTS?!" ziggy shouts.
"shh you're gonna wake the dead Jesus christ" I flick her forehead.
"I hate you" she holds her head.
"awh" I frown.
the conversation fades out after awhile.
"okay go to bed you rodent." I stole the insult from Tommy, because I found it funny.
"you thief." Tommy lays down.
"Not my fault its a funny word, now is it?" I smile at him, before laying down to sleep myself.
he chuckles a bit before nick whisper yells from his bed.
"quit it and go to sleep"
"someone's on his ladies days." I roll over. ziggy laughs at the joke.
"im gonna switch cabins." he sighs.
"aw cus you cant stand being around shadysiders?" I joke.
he doesnt answer and just goes to sleep, as we all do.
