After being filled in on his new situation by his mentors, Peter found out that--as soon as he finished college, he was supposed to take over Tony's work in Stark Industries. Which, definitely shocked him, but he was also completely overjoyed!
The fact that Mr. Stark trusted him to take over his company meant alot to him.
Still, Peter was quite upset, he knew he would have to deal with hordes of students crowding him at school, despite knowing most of what they teach there, he needed a good record to get into a good college, he couldn't afford to take another day off.
So here he was, in Happy's car, about to be swarmed by hundreds of curious students.
"Hey kid, if it gets too much, you could always call me or Tony, 'k?" Happy assured him, which made Peter feel a little better.
Giving Happy a soft smile and a 'thank you', Peter got out of the car, but was really tempted to jump back in when someone got right up in his face and yelled his name.
Press even followed him around and started clicking pictures, the camera flash blinded Peter while the students and press yelled and cheered for him.
It was already way too much.
Suddenly, Peter felt an arm pull him through the crowd.
He saw a familiar face and immediately eased his tense shoulders.
"Peter what the #$@%" Mj said, looking at him straight in the eyes.
"..hey Mj" Peter replied, suddenly finding the floor very interesting.
"Sorry, maybe you don't wanna talk to lil' old me now that you're a big shot" Mj said, letting go of her harsh grip on the Parker's arms, and rolling her eyes.
"What?-uh- no! Mj you know it isn't-" Peter panicked at the sudden accusation.
"Relax, jeez, I'm just teasing" Mj said with a roll of her eyes.
Peter relaxed, then promptly began asking his friend if she had questions, and apologizing profusely. All while Mj dragged him into the school and to his locker.
"--and I'm really sorry I didn't reply to any messages! Mr. Stark didn't want me to-" Before he could finish Peter was interupted by Ned.
"OhmygoshPeterwhathappenedyesterday" Ned stuttered out, way too fast for anyone to understand.
"Hey Ned" Peter smiled shyly as he replied.
"I'm really sorry I didn't tell you guys that was gonna happen, but to be frank...I really had no idea either" Peter said, he felt guilty that he dropped such a large bomb on their friendship and dynamic.
"I. DONT. CARE. OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO COOL! YOU'RE THE NEXT TONY STARK!" Ned exclaimed with stars in his eyes.
Eveyone in the hallway turned and finally noticed Peter's presence.
"Is that Parker?!"
"He came to school today?!"
"Hey Peter! Do you know anything about Tony Stark?!"
"Hey Peter, do you think you and your dad could sign this for me-?"

Peter bolted to the bathroom.
'God help me' he thought, as he heard the horde of students follow him into the bathroom.
He quickly dialed Mr. Starks number.
"M-....Mr. Stark-?"
"Hey kid..whats wrong? did something happen?"
"It's nothing...too major, just my classmates"
"Super obsessed with you now, aren't they?"
"Yeah-, uh..I'm-I'm hiding in the bathroom now, but they're coming for me"
"They're- they- oh..hold on tight kid, I'll be there in 5"
Peter waited and waited, after what felt like forever he finally heard the crowd outside disperse. And then he heard a familiar voice.
"Kid..it's me, let me in, would'ya?
Peter made his way to the door and gently pryed it open, then fully opened it after seeing Tony.
"I spoke to your principal, they won't bother you again unless they wanna deal with the police" Tony reassured his intern and heir as he placed an arm around his shoulder and walked him out of the school.
With all the students in the hallway staring at them, Peter couldn't help but be shy and nervous.
But he knew that as long as he had Mr. Stark and the others, everything would be fine.
