"Is it really necessary to have lunch together?" Mary grumbled as she picked at her food. She had been planning to go Christmas shopping with her wife, but thanks to her wife's obstinate sister, those plans had been scrapped.
"Why, of course," Kirari said, mouth curling into a smirk as she enjoyed her sister-in-law's frustrated expression. "Besides, I read online that most families have Christmas lunch together. Or dinner. Or both. Riri and I never celebrated Christmas growing up."
Sayaka nodded solemnly, trying out her puppy-dog eyes on Mary.
"Ugh, fine! Just...behave. I want to go Christmas shopping with Ririka after this——and you are NOT following us!"
"Following who?" Ririka asked curiously as she took a seat beside her wife.
"Nothing," Mary mumbled. "Let's eat."
Things were going well before Kirari noticed that they were almost down with the food.
'If I don't ask Riri before Mary, I won't get to go Christmas shopping with her,' she thought.
"Riri," she said suddenly. "Let's go Christmas shopping."
Mary glared at her. "I said you're not following!"
"Mary, please? They haven't gone Christmas shopping together before," Sayaka begged.
Ririka looked at her too.

"Ara~! They have this too?!" Kirari exclaimed as she held hands with her sister as if they were children again. The two scurried around the Christmas market excitedly.
"I hope they don't buy anymore. We already bought a lot from the supermarket just now," Sayaka sighed. "But...I guess as long as they're having fun."
They watched as the Momobami twins scurried around grabbing items.
"Humph! They don't even need to worry about their balance!" Mary huffed.
"They technically rule Japan you know," Sayaka reminded her. "Unlimited balance?"
"I know, I know."

They were about to get some food when Sayaka suddenly tugged on Kirari's sleeve.
"Kirari......" she said sheepishly as she pointed at one of the stalls selling gigantic teddy bears and normal sized giraffes.
"Hm," Kirari pondered. The giraffe soft toy was about the same size as the panda soft toy that Yumeko gave Sayaka. Although she didn't admit it, the Secretary was undoubtedly attached to the panda. Maybe if Kirari got her the giraffe, she would like it more?
"Mhm, you want the giraffe?" Kirari asked softly, as if talking to a child.
Sayaka's eyes sparkled as she jumped up and down, very much out of character. "And the purple teddy bear! And the grey one! It reminds me of us."
Kirari chuckled. "Indeed. Well, let's get them for you, shan't we?"

"Ah! Bullseye again!" Kirari exclaimed.
"You're so good at this," Sayaka commented, giving her wife a kiss on the cheek.
"Ugh, they're disgustingly sweet," Mary said. "Who likes soft toys at this age anyway?"
Later......
"This...is for me...?" Mary said incredulously.
"Yep! Kirari could practically get all the toys based on the bullseyes that she got, but we decided to save the rest for other people. We got one for you though," Sayaka said happily as she hugged her giraffe soft toy.
"Hm, I wanted to get all of them for you, but you insisted we leave the rest for the other......commoners," Kirari said as she kissed the top of Sayaka's head tenderly.
Mary was too busy cuddling her giant teddy bear to care. "It's so cute......"
"I thought you didn't like soft toys?" Ririka queried, genuinely confused.
"Nonsense. That wasn't me."
They spent the rest of the day running around until Sayaka and Ririka got tired.
"Let's take the limousine back," Mary suggested.
"I sent it home," Kirari said. While you all were in the restroom, I placed the remaining items in another limousine and also sent it home."
"You——!"
"Lower your house. Sayaka's sleeping," Kirari said as she looked down fondly at her wife in her arms. "I have another idea.
They went into an open field nearby.
Mary stared at her. "You're not serious."
A helicopter soon flew over and landed in the field.
Kirari went in first with a sleeping Sayaka followed by Mary and Ririka.
"We're so going to get fined by the police for this," Mary sighed.
"I'm afraid not. After all. I own the police," Kirari replied gleefully. It was certainly fun to be at the top of the social hierarchy.
Mary rolled her eyes before resting her head on Ririka's shoulder and falling asleep.
It was truly a Christmas that they would never forget.
