Previously on Strength and Adapting....
The limo driver opens the door and Sophie steps out first. I see Luke's mouth drop. He quickly composes his self. He takes her hand and intertwines it with his. I fix myself and get out. Harry scans my body and smirks. He takes my hand and kisses it. "You look beautiful this evening my love." I blush. "Thank you. So do you." He was wearing a fitted black suit with a purple tie and a black mask. He looked extremely handsome. He leads us inside. I look at him and smile. "Ready Soph?" She nods and sighs. "Whatever." She mumbles. I open the door.
"Happy Birthday Sophie!!!!!" All the guest yell. She stood there shocked, with her mouth wide open.
Sophie's POV
I was sitting in my room just watching TV and texting all my friends. I got very into my show when my phone vibrated. I checked to see it was from Luke. I smiled and opened, but then it dropped. I was shocked by message I recieved.
Luke- hey Kara babe wanna hang out? Sophie wont know a thing.
I let my tears fall and I ran to Smileys bedroom where she was asleep. I opened her curtains. "What the hell Sophs?" She groaned. She opened her eyes to see me crying. "Oh my god Sophie are you okay." I shake my head and show her the message. "That little fucker. How could he do that to you?!" She hugs me. I don't understand why he would do that to me. He gave me a necklace that he brought with his own money. Why would he do that if he was cheating on me? I cried in to Smiley's chest and there was a knock at the door. She goes and opens it. Lauren walks in. "Hey.....woah. Did I come at the wrong time?" She says looking at me. "No no. She needs us. Good thing we are stocked on junk food." Lauren nods and grabs the snacks. We cuddle on the couch and put on Mean Girls. It calms me down a bit.
"Thanks for staying with me El and Smiley." They nods and smile. "No problem." There was a knock at the door. Smiley got up and opened it. It was Luke and he was holding one of his friends with the back of his collar. He pushes him in. "You better apologize to her too." Luke growls. I looked at him confused. "For what?" Smiley shuts the door and crosses her arm. "He's the one who sent the fucking message!" Luke yells. "He thought it would be a good joke." He pushed the guy in front of me. He looked up at me but then quickly looked down.
"Im sorry for sending that message to you. Don't get mad at Luke it wasn't his fault." I sighed. "Its okay I guess." He nods and walks away. Luke closes the door of my bedroom. He walks up to me. "You know I would never do that." I just look down. He holds my head up and kisses me. Lets just say it got heated really quickly.
Smiley's POV
I hear some noise come from Sophie's room. "Awwwww. Come on guys!!! You better be usin' protection!" I sigh and grab my sweater and head to Harry's. I was speaking to Ren as we walked there. "Hey baby." Harry kisses me. He lets us in and I see Liam sprawled on the couch. Ren laughs and goes and lays on top of him. "Okay so where are we gonna hang out?" I shrug. I look at Liam. "Lets go swimming at the beach. It will be fun just us and your dogs." I nod. "Thats a good idea." Me and Ren go and get ready in our bikinis and we wear a sundress over them. I giggle as Ren tries to jump on Liam. You see me and Ren are the closest out of all the girls. She is literally like my twin. "To the jeep!!!!!" Me and her yell running out. The boys laugh and follow us out. I smile as Harry kisses my cheek.
Me and Ren immediately run to the beach. Harry chases me. He swoops me off my feet. "Harry!" I giggle. He throws me into the water and Snow comes in also. I throw his ball and he goes and fetches it. "Good boy." He licks my face. Harry comes besides me and smiles. "Oh yeah my other dog is coming back from Florida." Harry looks at me. "What type of breed is it?" He asked laying his head on my stomach. "Its a Doberman Pinscher. He's really sweet and protective." He smiles up at me. I hear a familiar bark. "Thats him." I laugh as the big Doberman jumps on me. "I missed you too bud." I hug him. He growls at Harry and sniffs him. Once he knows Harry is safe, he lets Harry pet him. "Good Gemini." He sits and wags his tail. "Thats a good name." I nod and smile. Harry stands up suddenly and holds his hand out for me. I look at him confused. "Come on." I take his hand and he helps me up. He starts to lead me somewhere. The dogs follow. Harry covers my eyes as we get closer to the area. "Harry where are you taking me?" I feel his breath on my ear. "Don't worry baby. I won't kill you." He whispers. It sends shivers down my spine.
We stop walking and He removes his hands from my eyes and I look in amazement. It was a secluded part of the beach with a beautiful sunset veiw. "Wow. Harry this is amazing." I hug him. "I though you'd like it." He lays out a blanket and I sit down on it. He lays his head in my lap and I play with his long curly hair. He closes his eyes as I run my hands through his hair. "I was thinking of starting a singing career." He says. "You should." He smiles up at me. "I have never dated a girl that would agree with me on that. They would always want what they think is good." I look at him. "Well they're wrong. You should be able to do what ever career you want." He sits up and faces me. "You are so perfect." He tucks a strand of my hair behind my ear. "How did I meet a girl like you. I never thought I would. I mean you're so beautiful, your personality, the way you laugh, your smile." I blush and look down. "Im not that perfect." I whisper. He lifts my head back up. "You are to me in every way." His hands caresses my cheeks. "Im so lucky to have you." His lips brush mine. I kiss him slowly and he smiles. He lays me down and we start to make out. He pulls away and I giggle. "You my sweetheart deserve a award for best kisser." I kiss him one more. "You should too." He smirks and sits back. He pulls out a box. "I want to to give you this promise ring." I smile. "I promise to keep you safe. I promise to not hurt you. I promise to cherish your body and your beauty with respect. I promise to hold you close at your darkest moments. I promise to be there for you." I stop him by kissing him. "I think thats enough." He slips the ring on.
"Watch out!!!!!!" Ren jumps out of no where unexpectedly as we walked back to Liam and Lauren. She jumps on to my back and I laugh falling to the ground. "Okay who wants to go get some food?!" Ren and me immediately raise our hands. "You guys always want food." I push Rens ass off os me. I stand up and wipe all the sand off of me.
"Oh oh there's this restaurant at the north park mall. Its called Seasons 51." Ren says. "Its so good!!!!" I nod in agreement. "Lets go there then." Me and Ren fist bump and smile. We ordered our courses. We talked, laughed and ate. "So Ren, Liam. How is it going?" Harry and I wiggle our eyebrows at them. "Its going great." Ren smiles at Liam. "Yeah I have the most beautiful girl with me." I smile at the couple.
4 weeks later......
I found out Harry is leaving back to the UK cause a record company called him. My heart ached to see him packing to leave. The other boys are going too, but so are my three bffs. I know this means a lot to Harry, and I want this for him. I want him to be happy. I can't leave Texas. I will eventually. I just want Sophie to at least finish half of high school here. As much as she told me to go, Im still thinking, but it was time for them to go. I play with the promise ring in my finger.
I feel someone tower over me. I look up to see the emerald eyes I'll miss. "I'm going to miss you so much. I'll never forget about you." I sigh. "I'll miss you too Harry. Take this." I take off the promise ring and put it on a chain. "This will resemble what we had." He takes it and puts it on. He gives me his favorite crucifix chain. "I love you." He gives me one last kiss and heads out. Maybe I'll see him on magazines and the TV. I know he will be successful. I believe in him.
I watch the car pull out and I let my tears fall. He was the first guy to treat me with respect. I just sit in my room and stay strong for him. Ren said maybe me and him will meet again. Just maybe. I sigh as my phone rings. "Hello?" I here a familiar voice of a record company manager in Texas. "Yes, this Smiley Khan." I sit up. "Hi. Yeah i would like you to come record some songs and do a little concert here in Dallas. We listened to your songs. Your friend Callie dropped them here. You have an amazing voice." I didn't know what to say, but I finally did. "I would love too!" I hear him clap. "Great. It will be tomorrow at 8:00. The recording we will do later. We just put tickets on sale and they are goin' out fast!" I smile a bit.
"You are gonna be a star Miss Khan. Not only do I want you for singing, rapping and Dancing, but I also want you for modeling. You have an amazing body for modeling." My mouth remains open and Sophie urges me to answer. "That...that..." I stutter in amazement.
"Like I said Miss Khan. You are going to be a super star."

Omg!!!!! I know surprise!!!!! I wanted this chapter to be great for you guys!!! I bet you didn't expect that. I know I haven't updated in awhile. I have so much studying. I finally got some free time. Mostly cause I just had caffeine a few mins ago or I would have been out. Yeah so I have exams all this week and then I'm out of school! But then i have work and volunteering and fasting month. So I'm busy then too. :(. But I am the only one in my family that can work. My brother needs to keep his medicaid and social. If he does they will all go off. My mom has a disability. So yeah. Im the one who is responsible. Any way I hope you guys enjoy this chapter. Took a lot out of my brain. Lol just kidding.
