"Hey Y/N" Frank said.
"Hi Frank" I said tiredly.
"Are you okay?" He placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah, I just- I haven't slept and everything is annoying me"
I placed my hand on his and looked at him sadly. "I just don't feel okay"
He hugged me carefully and sighed. "You can talk to me, alright?"
I nodded.
Frank is my coworker at the office we work at.
He's really nice and we became close friends after a couple months.
I like him, a lot.
And yes, I mean that I want to kiss him.
He's really nice to me and I love him.
"I have to go get the paper work done, I'll see you on lunch break!" He said, quickly walking to his cubicle.
"Bye" I mumbled quietly.
I did my work, at least I tried to, until my intrusive thoughts were too much and I had to do things.
I took out the blade and pressed it against my arm.
"I'm sorry" I whispered softly, sliding the blade across my skin.
A few more cuts, and more, and more and more.
I was crying quietly, making sure not to alert anyone.
I pressed the blade to my throat.
Then I felt someone slide the blade carefully out of my hand and kiss my neck softly.
"Please don't do that" Frank whispered. "I need you here"
I caressed his cheek in disbelief. "Frank?"
"Please Y/N, don't leave me"
"I... I can't do this anymore" I whispered, tears flooding my eyes.
"Please stay with me" he whispered, stroking my hair.
"Frank I can't"
"Please"
I got up and ran out to the stairs.
Using the elevator would be dumb.
I ran to the roof and sighed deeply.
I reached for my pocket and pulled out the gun.
"I'm sorry Frank, I love you but this is what I have to do" I said, pressing it against my head.
"NO!!" Frank screamed, tackling me and knocking the gun out of my hand. "Y/N I LOVE YOU AND I CAN'T LOSE YOU!!"
"I'm sorry"
He hugged me and I started sobbing.
"Y/N I can lose everything, anything but you. I love you, I need you to stay, please"
He lifted my sleeve and pressed some paper towels on my cuts.
"I love you" he whispered, kissing my forehead. "More than anything"
"I- I love you too" I said.
"I know" he pulled me into a hug and I buried my face in his shoulder.
