"How are you going to tell me you're not in love with her?"
"Who? Tamara?"
"Yes! What happened to your dying love for her? She understands you like no one else does, right?"
"I never said that!"
"Yes you did, when we were walking back from the movies, and we saw her"
Pacey stayed silent.
"Look, part of me wants to forgive you, but another part of me doesn't because i feel like you are lying to me"
"I'm not okay"
"Yeah whatever Pacey"
Pacey bites his lip a little before looking back at his besfriend.
Y/n has a skeptical look on her face. I mean what's the worst that comes happen if she did forgive him? she did miss him like hell but he betrayed her trust. I mean how are you supposed to forgive someone when they did the things that they promised they wouldnt do?
She sighs.
"Fine pacey, I'll forgive you, but know I'm not gonna forget this. You pull this bullshit on me next time and I won't forgive you, ok?"
"Yes ma'am" he smiles, pulling her into a long overdue bear hug. she has missed this a little too much.
The hug was all sorts of comforting. They have missed each other's warmth.
He had wanted to ask if she liked him but now wasn't the time. He had just gotten his best friend back and he wasn't going to lose her again.
*time skip*
" Let me guess y/n, you took him back" Jesse said, annoyed.
"How'd you know?"
"Youre my sister, of course i know. I know its who you are"
"Its who i am?"
"Youre Y/n Matthews. The capside sweetheart. You forgive people who have done things i would of ended my friendship with if i was you. You see the light in situations that don't even have light! You act like this pacey thing is him lying to you once. Y/n, its been like 3 times! I dont get how you just forgive and forget! Oh wait, its because its pacey. I know youre in love with him but you can't let him slack like that again"
" i told him if he did it again, i wouldnt forgive him. And your kinda right on the forgive and forget thing. Ive been thinking about it lately."
"i trust youre Intentions becauee youre always right for some reason, but I hope you decided that you made the right decision with him. Because you know I'll beat him up for you. theres nothing i wouldnt do for my sister"
"You would do my trig homework?"
"Hell no"
Jesse and Y/n both let out a laugh before he pulls her into a hug. she smiles. A signature y/n matthews smile.
they hugged for a little bit until jesse decided to go to sleep.
while she was drifting away, she had though about what Jesse had said. It was true but she doesnt forget, or does she for the right people?
*next day*
Another day, another try to film dawsons very 'interesting' movie. Stephanie (joey) and steven (pacey) were walking down the dock while dawson was filming and y/n and ryan were goofing off a little behimd the camera.
"I know what I saw. It was big and it was ugly and it attacked me and it's still out there, just waiting." joey says.
Pacey takes hold of Joey's shoulders.
"I might not believe you Stephanie, but I believe in you." pacey says.
ryan and y/n look at eachother weirdly because that line made no absolute sense but whatever. Pacey touches joey before moving in to kiss her. He gets closer until just as their lips would meet, Joey pulls away.
Joey moves away before moving out of the camera frames.
jesse and y/n try to hold in their laughter at joeys reaction.
"What? What?! Come on, What?" Pacey says, looking at the front of the camera.
"Cut!" Dawsons says
"Sorry Dawson but he is just too repelling." She says
"Joey, You're going to have to kiss him." Dawsons says
"I cannot and will not kiss that cretin." she says
"It's a movie, you're playing a character. It's not Pacey your kissing."
"So he's a sea serpent from the deep, cite the difference?"
Jesse and y/n both laugh really loud before covering their mouth when the three of them look at them.
"But your not aware of his evil alter ego, you're in love." dawson tells her.
"Forget it"
they continue to bicker for a long long long long time. then dawson starts talking about kissing jen and thats and when y/n and jesse decided that it is time to go. so does pacey.
" you tryna get out of here"
"take me away please"
"later pace!" they both say in unison as pacey walks his way home.
He smiles at the two before walking the rest of his way home.
*next day at school*
Jesse and y/n are walking therye way to trig when they see joey and dawson watching jen and cliff talk alot.
they both raises their eyebrows at eachother before watching the scene in front of them fold. they walk up to joey and dawson to get a closer look.
"No way this is happening" dawson says.
" told you they move fast in New york" joey smirks
jen walks away, past the group with a smile on her face.
" hey y/n can i tall to you for a sec" joey says.
" yeah of course. ill see you in trig j" y/n says
" alright dont be late" he says, leaving dawson starstruck in the hallway.
" so whats up joe"
" i told ms leery i know" she says.
" you told ms leery you know about her affair?" y/n says
" yeah"
"Whatd she say?"
"she didnt say anything, she just looks at me shocked"
" thats bot even the worst part, dawsons starting to catch on!"
" what?"
" yeah we were watching his mom and her coanchor on tv and he was like 'i think my mom and her coanchor are hooking up' and i didnt say anything"
" y'know hes gonna get mad at you cause you didnt tell him"
