Tomioka looked at the unknown person beside him confused, he couldn't see the person well so he didn't see who it was.
He did his utmost best to get out from under the covers without making any noise, as to not wake up the other person while getting out his bed.
When he got his upper body out from under the blanket he took notice that he was shirtless. Making the man even more confused then he already was, but him being him, he brushed it off thinking there wasn't anything to it.
'I highly doubt anything happened but it wouldn't hurt to check just in case.' With that thought in mind he lifted the blanket slightly to see....that he was entirely unclothed. Tomioka's face looked like he had seen a ghost.
"What?" Tomioka whispered lightly in confusion, forgetting about the person next to him. To his misfortune the other person had heard him and began to wake up.
They pulled the blanket off from over their head to reveal beautiful, mid length, black hair. 'Who is this? I don't recognise their hair..well only Iguro's hair is similar but it can't be him. Maybe it's someone that has similar features to him.'
The person had turned over, holding the blanket to cover their mouth, now facing Tomioka saw they were also shirtless 'They don't seem to have breasts, maybe their small chested? Not like I mind really.'
The person started to open their eyes slowly revealing two mismatched coloured eyes. One was a bright yellow with a darker yellow closer to his pupil, the other being a dark turquoise.
"IGURO?!"
Tomioka woke up sweating slightly and when he realised his head was on Iguro's, he shot his head up. He kept his shoulder still, not wanting to disturb him.
Tomioka saw Nezuko in front of him, holding her hand over Iguro's and setting it alight, it being pink flames, covering nearly his whole body in the flames.
"Nezuko! What are you doing?" He was trying to rush over to Iguro to help him but realised that it wasn't harming him in anyway at all, not even his clothes, only the rope tied to his wrist. So Tomioka got back into a normal sitting position, watch the flames die down as the rope disintegrated.
Once the room was completely gone Iguro woke uo and his head shot up from Tomioka's shoulder.
'DAMNIT!! WHY DID I HAVE TO WAKE UP?! I was just about to kiss Kanroji!! And what the fuck is this retard looking at? He looks like he saw a fucking ghost.'
"What the fuck are you looking at, Tomioka?" Iguro sent him a glare and just as quickly as he sent it, Tomioka looked away which didn't usually happen, he'd usually ignore it and continue to stare. Iguro was confused and looked at Tomioka's hands to see him fidgeting.
'What the hell is up with this idiot? He was fine before we fell asleep?' Nezuko was long gone and Tomioka regretted not stopping her.
Before Iguro could question anything Tomioka spoke up, "We should leave this demon to Rengoku, Tanjirou, his sister and their friends. We're only here for the Uppermoon and this isn't Uppermoon level, Rengoku and the rest can handle this demon themselves."
"That's the most you've ever spoken in your life I bet." Iguro rolled his eyes "but yeah, they can handle it." Upon saying that Rengoku came running in cutting down flesh, tongue looking things within a second or two, going to the next compartment.
"Why the hell are you so stressed? You were fine just moments ago." Tomioka didn't respond, he didn't even hear Iguro. He was too busy trying to find a reasonable excuse for what happened in his dream.
'Maybe it's just a misunderstanding. We could've been in the shower and from exhaustion we feel asleep? No wait but it was a dream so it means nothing. Damnit, damnit, DAMNIT!!'
Tomioka was getting visibly angry but he calmed himself down.
Iguro noticed he was deep in thought and was pissed that Tomioka ignored him. 'He was fine before the dream, so this clearly is because of the dream he had. I'm gonna have fun with getting him to tell me what his dream was about.'
"Tomioka. What was your dream about?" Iguro kept a pocker face in but on the inside he was grinning from ear to ear, since his scars made it look that way too sometimes.
Tomioka looked scared but went back to his usual bored looking face. "I had a dream that I was having a get together with my friends." Technically he wasn't lying because it was the first part of his dream. But he was leaving out the part that the other pillars were there and the second sort of the dream as well.
Kubaramaru then leaned up and hissed into Iguro's ear "Kubaramaru doesn't seem very convinced and I'm also not convinced. Either your telling the truth and are leaving some details out or your completely lying."
"Why do my dreams concern you?" Tomioka looked at his lap and he was digging his nails into his palm, which hurt, but he was more focused on trying to forget the dream and keep it a secret from Iguro.
"Hm they don't, but your attitude does and also how well you do your job. You were completely fine until we fell asleep and now look.". He grabbed one of Tomioka's hands and forced it open. "Your trying so hard to keep something from me that your even hurting yourself."
"Demon Slayer's hands are to be treasured, you have to hold your sword and kill demons so don't go hurting your hands." Iguro was still holding onto Tomioka's hand and just kept telling Tomioka how if he messes up this mission he'll personally escort him to death's door.
Tomioka wasn't particularly provoked by his words but seeing as Iguro was holding his hand he remembered the dream again and snatched his hand away quickly.
"Hm? What's this? Was I perhaps in your dream?" Tomioka looked at Iguro and shook his head to say no, but Iguro was not having it.
"Oh c'mon Tomioka, you can't fool me. The way your reacting is as if we fucked eachother up." Tomioka looked at Iguro so quickly, Iguro was worried he might've broken his neck if he turned it any faster.
Then he noticed something that was entirely faint. He was blushing? Probably out of embarrassment. "What did we spar and I ended up winning? Is that why your embarrased?"
Tomioka just looked at him. 'Come to think of it I seem to remember seeing marks in Iguro's neck, and I didn't feel any pain anywhere. So I seem to think you lost Iguro..'
"Uhm..no I said it was a meetup with my friends, nothing else." Tomioka started to dig his nails into his palm again and Iguro snatched his hand again. "Stop it. You'll mess up the fucking mission you dense motherfucker."
"Your the dense one.." Tomioka had said it really quietly but Kubaramaru heard everything and told Iguro. "Oh I'm dense? What the fuck did I do that's so dense?"
"Do you really want to know my dream?" Tomioka was smirking on the inside but kept a poker face. Iguro still felt all cocky so he just responded plainly "Yeah, that's what I asked bitch."
"Well if you must know, I did have a dream about netting up with my friendsz even the pillars were there. I was happy and then suddenly I was in my room. Naked. Under my sheets and guess who was there? You. You were under my covers as well. And you were covered in marks and your eyes were puffy." Tomioka said deadpanned.
".......WHAT?! NO NO NO, NO WAY. YOUR FUCKING KIDDING ME RIGHT?!" Iguro was throwing an absolute fit, he unconsciously moved away from Tomioka. 'What the hell? This bastard said all that with a deadpanned face? What the fuck is wrong with him?'
"Oh so now you don't wanna know? I told you the less detailed version for your own fortune, but you wanted to know so badly so I told you. So don't get all pissed off and disgusted." Tomioka was angry, no he was pissed off.
"I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE DISGUSTED BY YOU. YOUR A FUCKING PERVERT THAY DREAMS ABOUT SHIT LIKE THAT!!" Iguro went as far away from Tomioka as he could in pure disgust.
"I've never had dreams like this before. It's the first time, not even during puberty do calm the fuck down. It was because of that fucking demon." Iguro's never heard Tomioka, not even at demons, yes he disrespected them, but didn't swear.
Iguro sat normally again until the train started to topple over. Tomioka grabbed his sword and jumped out the window by Iguro.
Iguro then also grabbed his sword and tried to jump but one of the kids were holding his leg down. "FUCK!" The train was about to fall and Iguro was going to have the worst fall considerjng he wasn't strapped in.
Tomioka grabbed his wrist and yanked him out, causing the child to lose grip and let go. As soon as Iguro was out Tomioka jumped into the air not wanting to feel the impact of the train falling, still holding Iguro by the wrist.
Tomioka let go of Iguro and unseathed his sword so did Iguro and made a light landing.
Tomioka had landed off the train, right where Enmu's head had fallen. "Oh are you the human that had a dirty dream?" He asked laughing.
"What? No that's because of you, you filthy demon!" Emnu was throwing a whole fit of laughter "Oh no dearest, my dreams only show what you want most." Enmu was smirking. "Ahh I'm so pissed, I wanted to atleast die after making it to being upper 6, I was close."
"What the hedo you mean, what I want most? You don't fucking know me." Enmu decided to answer him before completely disappearing "Well. I don't, but your soul does. Your soul chooses it's own dream. You had two dreams meaning there are two things you very much desire." And just with that last word Enmu was gone.
"....So it's what I wanted huh? This demon had no reason to lie, so it was obviously telling the truth. Why the hell didn't I know my own desires though?" Tomioka just decided to start helping people from the train.
Rengoku was helping Tanjirou focus on his breathing and then it hit him. He felt an overwhelmingly strong presence near Tanjirou and Rengoku.
