I was sleeping peacefully when it happened.
I began feeling uneasy.
Like, very uneasy, like my life is in danger.
Then I was moved, I think.
I tried my best to listen for any sounds but couldn't.
I had no idea what was going on.
But soon, I started feeling a warmth of some kind.
It was really comfortable, but instead of feeling relaxed, I felt restless.
And I could feel my body forming?
It took a long time, but my body was fully formed eventually.
Not that I could tell with certainty what it was shaped like, and being inside an egg which is pitch black didn't help.
Restless from the warmth and fear combined, I desperately tear at the egg I was in to escape.
I really should have thought that through and just stayed in the egg.
Why? Because as soon as I broke free from the egg, I was face to face with a jet black spider bigger than me with scythes for its front to legs.
It shrieked at me, I screamed and I lost consciousness.
Zzzzzzzzz...Hm?
Did I just have a nightmare?
I am still feeling uneasy about it...
But this is really comfortable...
Five more minutes...
Huh!? I can feel my body just like in the dream!?
Was it a dream?
My eyes shot open to find myself in a pure white bed in a dark cave.
I can see now, barely, it's just too dark here.
I move my hands in front to see them, only to find paws instead.
I then looked all over my body.
I think I am now a dark blue scaly lizard.
I am not sure because I have long floppy ears, I am not aware of any lizards that have those.
But seriously? Why do I have to be some lizard thing?
I was hoping to be a bird at least, way cuter that way.
Then again, I suppose this is probably some sort of divine punishment...
By habit, I did my signature hair flip with my new floppy ears.
I have been doing that since elementary, to look cool.
It works, but now I can't help but feel a tad immature for doing it.
Suddenly, a deep shriek similar to the spider's in my 'dream' came from behind.
A shiver runs down my spine, but it would do me no good to ignore reality, as much as I wish to.
I slowly turn around, to find that spider staring me down again!
I screamed and buried myself in the bed.
???: "Proficiency has reached the required level.
Acquire Skill [Coma Resistance]."
The spider continues shrieking at me while coming closer.
"Please don't eat me!"
I yelled out in desperation.
The spider stops shrieking and does a thinking pose.
Um, are spiders normally this Human-like in behaviour?
Or maybe, this spider is different, but we have no way of communicating since neither of us are Humans with Human voice cords.
Is there a [Telepathy] Skill?
Turns out yeah, and I bought it with 100 of my 40000 Skill Points.
Sure glad I have a bunch of them to start with.
I used the Skill and felt a connection between me and the spider.
<Please don't eat me.>
I 'spoke' sheepishly.
???: <Ah, worry not, and sorry about scaring you.>
I honestly didn't expect it to talk back to me at all, and actually hearing his voice for the first time, it is strong yet gentle, I feel a little safer thanks to that tone.
But wait!
<You know Japanese?>
???: <Why yes, I am the same as you, as in getting reincarnated into a game-like world. You may call me Skanda.>
<Oh thank god, I am not alone...But how do you know I am a reincarnated person?>

I am so relieved, there is no way I can handle surviving in a cave by myself.
Still, despite putting on a strong front of being calm and collected, I am actually still super terrified.
It's almost like Skanda is giving off an aura of intense fear.
Actually, I think that aura of fear is what has been making me feel uneasy this whole time.

After Ringleader fainted from seeing us, we moved her from the egg and onto the comfiest bed we have ever made.
We are quite proud of this masterpiece if we do say so ourselves.
Anyway, we made a bedroom for her by digging it out in the wall with a small entrance into it.
And by dig, I mean eat.
And guess what? It actually restores EP!
Dirt and rocks taste horrible, but free EP is a huge deal!
On top of that, we got the Skill [Rock Body] from doing so.
It uses SP to temporarily stiffen our body to increase Defence.
It makes it harder to move, so timing is everything with this defensive Skill.
Oh, and I guess we found some metal deposit while we were at it.
No idea what to do with them yet.
Karada: Hey, looks like Ringleader has woken up.
Majikku 1: About time, damn sleepyhead.
Well, now that she is up, it's time to introduce ourselves.
"Hello."
I said in the same voice I tried before, strong enough to be gentle.
Ringleader turned around, saw us and immediately buried herself in her new bed.
She is scared sheetless of us.
Majikku 1: Heh, oh how the mighty have fallen.
Karada: How the turn tables.
Majikku 2-4: Who is in charge now?
"Calm down, I mean you no harm."
I tried to comfort her while approaching amidst my sisters' mocking of her.
She then shrieks at us, but I think she is actually trying to say something.
Obviously, she can't, she doesn't have a Human voice cord to work with.
This presents a problem, hm...
Oh I know, [Telepathy]!
Never thought we were even gonna get this Skill, but we have 0 Skill Points to work with.
And do we really want to waste 1000 of these precious points on a non-combative Skill?
Um well, this is awkward, what do we do?

And no, it is not because we are too lazy to call her by Shinohara as it is a bit too long for our liking.

I would be lying if I say I am completely over being bullied by Fei in our past lives.
Though it's more like I dislike her for the fact that she is a bully rather than for bullying us specifically.
I mean, we more or less deserved that for being a useless wimp.
But that doesn't mean being a bully is excusable in my eyes either.
Heh heh heh, time for a little payback via super intense training disguised as us helping her.
