{Naofumi became known as the monster named, Infinite after losing his mind completely: but let's go into detail. During his first fight with, Motoyasu he was beaten after, Malty cheated. When he believed, Raphtalia had been taken from him, he finally snapped. That's when the Phantom Ruby came to him, without a second question he took the Ruby and gained a monstrous amount of power. What was the price for this power? His sanity. Using this power, he killed not only, Motoyasu but, Ren, Itsuki, Malty, the King and the entire audience as well: but when he finally regained some of his sanity he saw one of the spike's he casted hit, Raphtalia. He held her as she inevitably bleed out, the last thing she said to him was "I love you, Naofumi-Sama." This event, knowing that he was the one to kill the only person he cared about drove him to Megalomaniacal Insanity. With the power of the Phantom Ruby, he swore to obliterate each and every world to exist in the Universe}
{Naofumi has destroyed over one hundred world's while trapped in his Insanity. He never gained any of his humanity back, he never wanted to be remembered as, "Naofumi" any longer from that day forward, he was known as "Infinite"}
