Chapter 96
No One POV
Both Slaking and Dracovish are staring at one another until Kala had called out the first attack.
Kalakaua:Dracovish use Fishious Rend now.he commanded him
He commanded as Dracovish's jaws has gotten a blue glow to them as he charged right at Slaking who laid there not doing anything because of its ability as Dracovish had slammed into him clamping down on him.
Kalakaua:now use Dragon Pulse.he commanded him
Dracovish had jumped back a bit and unleashed the beam of draconian energy at Slaking who took the hit head on as it caused an explosion as the smoke had cleared showing that it's been injured.
Astrid:*thinks to herself*dam if it continues to dish out attack like that then it's over for Slaking, but thankfully I've trained him to withstand as much attacks as it can.she thought to herself
Kalakaua:*thinking to himself*Slakings ability is really what's allowing me to do all of this damage to it but even I know when I need to be cautious.he thought to himself
As Dracovish had glared at Slaking who dared to just lay there and take his attacks head on and not even flinch as to Dracovish it's bad for it's pride and honor, while in reality Slaking did felt those attacks but it's ability is hindering it.
Kalakaua:alright Dracovish charge in using Dragon Rush go.he commanded him
Astrid:brace yourself Slaking.she told him
Slaking had braced itself and readied for the impact as Dracovish had slammed right into him covered in draconian energy which managed to push Slaking back a bit and the same can be said for Dracovish.
As Slaking has taken quite a bit of damage from Dracovish but this is where things start to get serious from here on out.
Astrid:now use Slack Off to heal yourself.she commanded
Kalakaua:*mutters*looks like it's ability has worn off.he commented
Slaking had gained a green light around him which managed to heal up some of his wounds as Slaking had looked pretty much unscathed from all of the attacks Dracovish had thrown at him.
Astrid:*smirks*let's hit them back with Retaliate.she ordered
Kalakaua:*his eyes widens*oh crap try and dodge it Dracovish.he cried out to him
Dracovish was too slow as Slaking had finally stood up to its full height and punched Dracovish across the face while he had a red aura around him, the power of the attack had sent him flying back to Kala's side of the field as he took major damage.
Kalakaua:dam I had a feeling you'd have a move that deals a lot of damage if the Pokémon has been attacked many times.he said to her
Astrid:*smirks*yup I specifically trained Slaking to endure attacks and dish out more damage with Retaliate you have no Idea how much battles I've won because of that.she said back to him
Kalakaua:*thinks to himself*I wonder how Slaking would fair up against Urshifu.he thought to himself
Astrid:now Slaking use Thunderpunch.she commanded him
Kalakaua:use Crunch Dracovish.he ordered
Slaking had stomped toward Dracovish with his fist cackling with electricity as he aimed it at Dracovish who flared up at him and clamped down onto his fist with his jaws glowing an orange color.
Both Pokémon had winced from each other's attacks until Slaking had pushed back Dracovish who's starting to feel the effects of the last 2 attacks.
Kalakaua:*mutters*dam this Slaking will be a pain in the ass I need to deal with it and fast.he muttered
Astrid:let's end this Slaking use Hammer Arm.she commanded
Kalakaua:Dragon Pulse now.he ordered
It was a desperate attempt from Kala for Dracovish to do more damage to Slaking but it was useless since Slaking had simply slapped the Dragon Pulse away, just like in Fated Dreams with Dragonite always having his get slapped away.
Slaking big ass arms and fist had crushed Dracovish who cried out in pain as it made a large cloud of dust and made the battlefield shake a bit from the impact, the dust had started to clear which revealed Dracovish.
Dracovish has been declared unable to battle as he has swirls in his eyes and buried in the ice of the battlefield.

Announcer:down goes Kalakaua's Dracovish, as although Dracovish is a strong fossil Pokémon it still couldn't hold its own against Slaking.he commentated
Kalakaua:*returns him*you did well Dracovish return.he gotten sucked back into the ball
As he put the ball back onto his belt as Astrid is down to 5 Pokémon, the score is 5-5 and they both need to try and get a step ahead of each other.
Kalakaua:*thinks to himself*i need to get rid of that Slaking or else it'll be a major pain in the ass for me and I can't have that, looks like I have to go with this one.he thought to himself
Astrid:*narrows her eyes*so Kala who's your next Pokémon.she asked him
Kalakaua:this is my next Pokémon, Dragonite I need your mana.he said out loud
As Kala's Dragonite had appeared onto the battlefield with a roar as he flew down toward the ice battlefield as he glared at Slaking as both Astrid and her Pokémon had felt a but uneasy at the sight of his Dragonite.
His Dragonite is larger then others as he stands at the height of 9'0 tall and has a menacing look on his face who looks like it won't hesitate to kill a person, don't let the picture below fool you.
Astrid:*sweating a bit*what Dragonite already.she said to herself
Announcer:oh my and it seems Kalakaua shocks us with using Dragonite which is one of his stronger Pokémon, but will it be enough to take down Astrid's Slaking.he said into the mic
Astrid:well I'm sure as hell going to try.she said to herself
Ref:*raises his flags*Slaking vs Dragonite battle begin.he announced
Kalakaua:use Fire Blast on the battlefield Dragonite.he commanded him
Astrid:what is he planning now.she said to herself
Dragonite had roared as he flew up into the air and sent the powerful stream of fire down at the battlefield as the fire had split in 4 directions almost like a star, as the fire type attack had hit the field creating a massive cloud of icy smoke and an explosion.
Everyone on the crowd and Astrid had to cover their faces from the icy cloud of the battlefield as it all started to clear up to reveal that the ice field is no longer an ice field.
Astrid:*blinks in surprise*what so he melted the ice on the battlefield but why.she questioned
Kalakaua:it'll just get in the way of Dragonite and he hates obstacles, now use Dragon Rush Dragonite.he ordered him
Astrid:quick Slaking use Heavy Slam.she ordered
As the 2 powerhouses had glared at one another as Dragonite had roared loudly as his entire body has been covered in draconian energy and flew down right at Slaking, who's body had also gained a small outline of silver around his body.
The 2 Pokémon had clashed with each other in the middle as they were at a power struggle until Dragonite had roared as he pushed a bit more as he slammed right into Slakings chest pushing him back.
Kalakaua:now use Thunderpunch now.he commanded
Astrid:use your Thunderpunch too Slaking.she also commanded
Once again both Pokémon had clashed attacks with each other as both cackling fist with electricity are aimed at each other but this time Slaking had won the power struggle as he pushed through and nailed Dragonite across the face.
Astrid:now use Throat Chop.she ordered
Kalakaua:don't let it happen, flip him over onto his back.he told him
Astrid:huh there's no way it can flip such a heavy Pokémon.she said out loud
She underestimates Dragonite's power after all there's a reason why he's known as one of Kala's strongest, as Dragonite had ducked from the Throat Chop aimed at him and grabbed onto Slakings arm.
As he started to grit his teeth until he completely gotten him off of his feet and threw him across the battlefield which pretty much shocked everyone in the stadium and Astrid as they were surprised to see such strength from Dragonite.
While Keenan and Tatsumi were smirking in the crowd since they know just how strong his Dragonite is and he certainly is a pain in the ass to deal with.
Announcer:*shocked*no way Dragonite had just threw Slaking across the battlefield what unbelievable strength.he said as the crowd was also shocked
Keenan:oh trust me his Urshifu is worst then his Dragonite.he said to himself
Astrid:*sweating a bit*yeha I can't believe it either just how strong is that dam thing.she commented
Kalakaua:as strong as he needs to be, now end this with Hyper Pulse now.he ordered
Astrid:oh cmon another combination move.she said
Dragonite had roared as he sent the extra powerful move of Dragon Pulse + Hyper Beam at Slaking who couldn't do nothing but stand there as he took the powerful blast head on which created a large explosion that covered the battlefield.
The smoke and such had started to clear up to reveal Slaking down for the count as he has swirls in his eyes while Dragonite had flew back down onto the battlefield with almost no damage done to him.

Announcer:and Dragonite once again takes down another powerful adversary it's a pretty clear indication that he's one of Kalakaua's strongest Pokémon, but it seems that Astrid had lost one of her strongest so early into the battle will this affect her performance.he announced as the crowd cheered
Astrid:*returns him*you did very well out there Slaking return and get some rest.she praised him
Kalakaua:*returns Dragonite*you too Dragonite return for now I might need you later on.he praised him
The 2 trainers had returned their Pokémon as Astrid had looked at Kala and she needs to bring up her A game since she's down 1 Pokémon compared to him as he still has 5 Pokémon left while she now has 4 left.
She needs to play her cards more carefully if she wants to win this battle and get into the finals, but the main problem is his Dragonite and his weird looking Samurott who looks like he won't hesitate to kill a person.
Astrid:in that case I'll go with this Pokémon, Shiftry it's time for you to shine.she said as she threw her out
Her next choice of Pokémon had made her appearance onto the battlefield as it isn't slippery anymore thanks to Dragonite completely melting the entire field for he has a good place to land and the same can be said for Kala's other Pokémon, but it also came at the cost of his opponent also getting an advantage.
Kalakaua:*raises an eyebrow*a Shiftry huh this will be the first time battling up against one.he commented
Astrid:Shiftry is one of my newer Pokémon but she has proven herself to be able to battle here in the league, this will be a good time to see where she's at.she said back to him
Kalakaua:in that case I'll go with Noivern, lend me your power.he threw out his next Pokémon
As Kala had threw out his next Pokémon as he appeared with a roar as he landed onto the field with a ring of shine signifying that it's a shiny Pokémon which of course shocked Astrid and a few of the audience members as well.
This was like the 3rd shiny he's thrown out in the entire battle and Astrid is really beginning to think that Kalakaua is a shiny hunter or something like that.
Astrid:seriously you have another shiny Pokémon, exactly how much shiny Pokémon do you even have this is like your 3rd shiny altogether with Dracovish and Corviknight.she asked him
Kalakaua:I have quite a few shiny Pokémon but I honestly don't really catch them because of the color, I catch them because they can be useful to me in battle.he told her
Announcer:and Kalakaua's 4th Pokémon is a Noivern which is also a shiny, this is his 3rd shiny Pokémon he's shown throughout the battle. Is he some kind of shiny hunter or something.he said into the mic
Kalakaua:I am not a shiny hunter I can assure you of that, I was just lucky to bump into these Pokémon aside from Dracovish since he was gifted to me.he said out loud
Ref:*raises his flag*Noivern vs Shiftry let the battle begin.he announced
Astrid:alright Shiftry use Leaf Blade how.she ordered
Kalakaua:Boomburst Noivern.he ordered
As Noivern had roared as his ears has gotten a white glow to them and sent the powerful sound waves at Shiftry who ran across the battlefield with incredible speeds as he completely avoided the attack.
Shiftry had jumped into the air and slashed Noivern across the chest doing damage to him as he was a bit dazed from the attack.
Astrid:now Shiftry use Dark Pulse now.she commanded
Kalakaua:Noivern counter it with Dragon Pulse.he commanded
The 2 Pokémon had unleashed their respective attacks which clashed with each other creating an explosion canceling one another out.
Kalakaua:Noivern use Dragon Claw.he commanded him
Astrid:Air Cutter.she called out
Noivern had ignored those crescents of air that was coming toward him as he used his claws ro destroy them, as Noivern had came In front of Shiftry and slashed her multiple times using Dragon Claw as she cried out in pain.
Astrid:quick Shiftry use Dig.she ordered
As Shiftry had immediately dug into the ground hiding from Noivern who stayed up there looking down at the ground, but he used his large ears and echolocation to try and find Shiftry which was successful.
The ground had erupted from beneath him as Shiftry had shot out of the hole who tried to hit him but Noivern had moved a bit higher which surprised Shiftry and Astrid a bit.
Kalakaua:*grins*now Noivern use Boomburst.he commanded him
Astrid:*sweating a bit*quick Shiftry try and dodge it using Aerial Ace.she commanded her
But Shiftry was too late and there were no footing in the air as Noivern had took full advantage of her invulnerability and sent the same powerful sound waves at Shiftry who gotten slammed onto the battlefield creating a pillar of dust.
As Shiftry had stood back up scratched up and bruised as well as she glared at Noivern who landed back onto the battlefield, as things really isn't looking good for Astrid that's for sure.
Astrid:*thinks to herself*dammit if this keeps up there's no way that I'll be able to win, i need to take a risk and do as much damage as I can once he gets in close again.she thought to herself
Kalakaua:Noivern use Dragon Rush now.he commanded him
Noivern had roared as his entire body has been covered in draconian energy as he flew down toward Shiftry who made his stance more wide to try and catch the attack until Astrid had called out a risky move.
Astrid:now Shiftry use Explosion.she ordered her
Kalakaua:*wide eyed*oh crap there's no way Noivern is getting out of that one.he said out loud
As Shiftry had stared into Noivern's eyes as her entire body has gotten a white glow as the bright light had illuminated the entire battlefield until it made a powerful explosion that shook the battlefield and the stands a bit.
Everyone was surprised to see such a suicidal move done by Astrid while Keenan would've done the same if he couldn't find a way out of it, she killed 2 Pidgey's with one stone. She managed to defeat one of Kala's Pokémon and also knocked her own Pokémon out to change the battlefield and take the 5 minute break.
The dust and smoke had cleared up to reveal Noivern and Shiftry on the battlefield with swirls in their eyes as Kalakaua was surprised to see him lose one of his stronger Pokémon, but he still has Dragonite and Samurott left.
Ref:*raises his flags*both Noivern and Shiftry are unable to battle this match is a draw, and since Astrid has lost 3 Pokémon. There will be a 5 minute break for the trainers and the battlefield will change.he announced out loud
Announcer:wow to think this battle has already reached its half way point, and Astrid is the first to lose 3 Pokémon. But will she be able to make a comeback after the short 5 minute break.he commented
Astrid:*returns Shiftry*you did a good job girl return and get some rest thank you.she praised her
Kalakaua:*returns Noivern*you also did very well Noivern return and get some rest thanks for putting in the work.he thanked him
As both trainers has returned their Pokémon back into their balls as they looked at each other and gave a nod of acknowledgement and made their way off of the battlefield and back up a bit as Kala had sat down on one of the benches coming up with a new strategy now.
He knows that Astrid will try and bring down as much Pokémon as she can but there's still his Dragonite and his Samurott to go through and that alone is not going to be an easy thing to accomplish.
Kalakaua now has 4 Pokémon left while Astrid has only half of her team left, but that other half is most likely her more stronger Pokémon.
Change Scene Stands
Since Kala and Astrid are taking a 5 minute break as they are changing the battlefield and also rethink of new strategies to try and defeat their opponent, let's go to Keenan,James and Tatsumi are In the stands watching the battle as using Mew to teleport them anywhere is certainly very useful.
James:it seems Astrid has gotten stronger in the past few years or so since I last seen her battle.he commanded
Tatsumi:*raises an eyebrow*wait you watched her battle before.he asked him
James:yeah it was back in the Kalos league tho and she wasn't this strong to begin with, she actually lost against Ash back in the top 8.he said back to him
Tatsumi:*surprised*huh really it's hard to believe that someone like her had actually lost against Ash, I mean Keenan,Ryuga and even Kalakaua had defeated Ash and Keenan had defeated him on multiple occasions.he said out In surprise
Keenan:that's because he doesn't use his older Pokémon to battle because he's stupid, and besides if we battled now even if he did used his older Pokémon I'd win still.he said
Although it may come off as cocky and arrogant that he can still beat Ash in a battle if he used an entire team of his older Pokémon, but at this point it's the truth since Keenan has come up with multiple battling styles to fit him and also trains his Pokémon 24/7.
The only reason why Ash's performance is low is because he's mainly focused on helping Goh with his stupid dream of catching Mew, but before they came to Hoenn Goh had actually went to spend some time with his parents while Ash had went to Johto for something.
Keenan most likely knows why he went to Johto as this is around the time that Goh catches Suicune, but instead of him it'll be Ash.
Keenan:*thinks to himself*wow I guess the author really doesn't like Goh at all, he literally cucked Goh of getting his one and only Legendary lol, not like it has anything to do with me.he thought to himself
James:I never seen Kalakaua battle before so this is my first time seeing what he's capable of, but do you think he'll be able to win.he asked them
Tatsumi:yes he should be able to win after all his Samurott and Dragonite are among one of his strongest, along with his Noivern but it was taken down from a close range Explosion.he said reassuringly
Keenan:Kala would be more of a threat if Legendary Pokémon were allowed since he has an Articuno,Urshifu and Darkrai with him.he said out loud
Even James was a bit interested battling him since he does need to get used to battling up against Legendary Pokémon since he knows Keenan will most likely use a Legendary in the Kalos league so he needs to be prepared for that.
Besides if he gets more practice against Pokémon of that category then he'll be more confident in himself and will not get as scared battling up against a Legendary.
Announcer:the 5 minutes is over trainers please make your way back onto the battlefield.he announced
Change Scene Battlefield
Back onto the battlefield as both Kalakaua and Astrid are once again face to face against one another as the next battlefield had made its way to decide the playing field as this time it's a tall grass field with a few trees, as this was a big change from the ice battlefield that they had prior before Kala decided to destroy it.
Announcer:the next battlefield for this final half of the battle is a tall grass field with trees, this is definitely a big change from the last one.he commented
Astrid:*mutters*this field could work.she said to herself
Kalakaua:hmm quite the interesting field of choice but I've had my fair share of training in all kinds of conditions.he commented
Ref:*raises his flags*it's been decided that Kalakaua will send out his Pokémon first, so please send out your Pokémon.he announced
Kalakaua:huh so I have the first pick it's whatever, Corviknight your up once again.he said out loud
As Kala had sent out his shiny Corviknight again to take the stage as he gently landed onto the tall grass field as he's waiting for his next opponent as Astrid at the said Pokémon.
Astrid:*thinks to herself*this is a bit risky but I need to do it.she thought to herself
Astrid:alright Absol it's time to do this.she said
Kala had narrowed his eyes at her choice of Pokémon as her Ace had made its appearance onto the grassy field with a small roar as it's a bit larger then the average Absol, as it's sharp eyes had gazed at Corviknight.
Kala can tell just by looking at it that it's well trained as it's perhaps even stronger then his own Absol.
Kalakaua:*narrows his eyes*Absol already she must be getting desperate.he said to himself
Annoucer:this is a shocking choice from Astrid, as she decided to start off with her Absol which is the Ace of the team. Is this a good plan or is she getting deserate.he commentated
Astrid:I will admit I am getting a bit desperate but I'm going to change the tide from here on now.she said out loud
Kalakaua:how interesting let's see if this strategy of yours will work, this is a pretty big gamble your doing right now.he said back to her
Ref:*raises his flags*Corviknight vs Absol, let the battle begin.he announced
Astrid:Absol use Megahorn now.she commanded
Kalakaua:counter with Steel Wing.he commanded
Both of them had charged at one another as Absol's horn has gotten a light green glow to it as he roared aiming it at Corviknight while his wings has also gotten a silvery glow to it as he tried to slash it at Absol, as the 2 attacks had clashed with each other as it was a small power struggle.
In the end Absol had won as her attack managed to land on Corviknight as he gritted in pain as he slid back a bit on the grass field.
Kalakaua:now Corviknight use Air Slash now.he commanded him
Astrid:Absol hide in the grass.she said
As Corviknight had flew up into the air and sent multiple blades of wind at Absol who hid in the grass as she managed to avoid the attack but the blades of wind had also cut down a few of the tall grass, to reveal Absol jumping out it.
Astrid:now Absol use Flamethrower.she ordered
Kalakaua:*his eyes widens*crap dodge it Corviknight.he cried out to him
Corviknight was too slow to dodge the attack as Absol had unleashed the stream of fire at Corviknight who's eyes widened in shock until he was complete engulfed by the attack, which caused an explosion to occur as Corviknight had fell from the smoke.
It's revealed that Corviknight is now unable to battle as he has swirls in his eyes as it only took one move to take him down which just shows how strong her Absol is.

Announcer:down goes Corviknight as all it took was one move to bring him down, which just shows how strong Astrid's Absol is.he said into the mic
The crowd had cheered as the score is now even which is 3-3 and Kalakaua still has Samurott which is still really fresh as he'll need Samurott for Absol and whatever Pokémon she has.
Kalakaua:return a Corviknight you did well out there now get some rest.he praised him
Astrid:*returns Absol*you too Absol I'll need you for later.as she returned her strongest Pokémon
Kalakaua:Absol certainly has a lot of power I can see why she's one of your strongest Pokémon.he said to her
Astrid:yeah she's the first Pokémon I've received from my parents and we've been with each other ever since.she said back to him
Kalakaua:*throws out a ball*in that case I'll use this Pokémon, Umbreon I need your power.he said as he threw him out
As Kala's next Pokémon is an Umbreon as he appeared onto the battlefield looking for his new opponent as Kala had caught an Eevee a few months ago and while he was training Eevee in the night it evolved into an Umbreon, and plus he doesn't mind since he wanted an Umbreon to begin with.
Astrid:*surprises*huh so you have an Umbreon too in that case let's make an Umbreon battle let's go.as she threw out her own Umbreon
But unlike Kala's Umbreon who is a normal Umbreon hers is a shiny as she appeared with a ring of shine as she narrowed her eyes at her next opponent as she was surprised to see another Umbreon and so was Kala's but he shook his head as he also stared at her Umbreon.
Kalakaua:huh so you have an Umbreon of your own, and you say to me that I'm a shiny hunter and her you have a shiny Umbreon.he said to her
Astrid:well half of my team isn't a shiny that's for sure, but let's see which Umbreon is better, yours or mines.she said to him
Kalakaua:*smirks*hmm I'm fine with that.he said to her
Announcer:this is a small treat, looks like both trainers will be having an Umbreon battle let's see which one of them is stronger.he said as the crowd cheered

Astrid/Kalakaua:Umbreon use Dark Pulse.they both commanded
Both Umbreon's had unleashed the chain of dark energy at one another as the 2 attacks had clashed in the middle which caused an explosion covering the field.
Kalakaua:Umbreon use the grass as cover and use Iron Tail.he commanded him
Astrid:keep your eyes peeled girl and when you see him use your own Iron Tail.she said to her
As Kala's Umbreon had ran into the grass and using it as cover while Astrid's one is looking around and using her ears to try and locate the other Umbreon, until her ears had perked as she seen the male Umbreon jump out of the tall grass besides her with his tail shining silver in color.
Astrid's Umbreon had did the same attack as she roared at the other one as they both managed to land their attacks on one another as they pushed each other back as their still looking at each other.
Astrid:now Umbreon use Hyper Voice.she ordered her
Kalakaua:quick Umbreon use Dark Pulse to counter.he tried to command
Kala's Umbreon was a bit too slow as he was hit by the super powerful shockwave of sound as Umbreon had gritted his teeth trying to withstand the attack until he was flown off of his feet and landing in front of Kala, but he stood back up wobbling a bit as he looked at the female Umbreon.
For the trainers this is a battle to see who will win but for the 2 Umbreon's this is a battle to see if their worthy enough to be their mate, as Kala's Umbreon doesn't really realize it since he's more focused on trying to win the battle for his master.
Kalakaua:in that case use Double Kick now Umbreon.he commanded him
TAstrid:*surprises*what it knows Double Kick.she said out In surprise
As Kala's Umbreon had quickly ran in front of Astrid's Umbreon and turned around and aimed his 2 hind legs at her which landed, as the shiny Umbreon had cried out in pain from the super effective attack as she was flown back to Astrid's side.
Astrid:*thinks to herself*dam I didn't know Umbreon knew Double Kick that did some pretty good damage to her, looks like I need to finish this and quickly.she thought to herself
Kalakaua:*mutters*one more attack should do it, let's make it a big one.he muttered
Astrid:alright Umbreon use Giga Impact.she ordered her
Kalakaua:Umbreon use Last Resort.he commanded
Keenan and Tatsumi was a bit surprised to see that he's doing a suicide attempt which is what Keenan usually does if he's in a tough spot as it seems he really rubbed off on them since it's one of his habits whenever he's battling.
Both Umbreon's had stared at one another and ran at each other as Astrid's is covered in a purple energy with orange streaks in them while Kala's is covered in an intense white light, they both clashed in the middle of the grass battlefield causing a large explosion.
As Astrid had to cover her face from the winds and what not flying while Kala had stood there with his arms crossed taking it like a boss.
The smoke and dust had cleared up revealing that both of the Umbreon's are unable to battle as their touching noses as their both down.

The crowd had cheered at the interesting battle between both Umbreon's while Keenan and Tatsumi had also clapped since that was an impressive battle for Eeveelutions.
Keenan:huh who would've thought that Eeveelutions will have a cool battle.he commented
Tatsumi:sorta reminds me of that one guy in the Unova league I forgot his name.he said out loud

The 2 of them had returned their Pokémon as the 2 of them are still in the even score which is 2-2 as things are really starting to heat up now.
Astrid:your Umbreon is pretty strong we should have ours interact with each other after the battle.she said to him
Kalakaua:*shrugs*meh sure I guess so and I bet my Umbreon wouldn't mind.he said back to her
Astrid:but let's see you handle my second strongest Pokémon, Dragapult let's go.she said as she threw out her 6th Pokémon
As Astrid's Dragapult had made an appearance onto the battlefield as he let out a small roar as Kala was surprised to see that she has a Pokémon like Dragapult but he sorta expected it since she is an experienced trainer.
Although he wants to use Dragonite for this one but he needs the complete type advantage so he'll go with Samurott, and plus Samurott is soo close as well.
Kalakaua:*surprised*you have a Dragapult well that's unexpected, but it just adds to the challenge.he said out loud
Astrid:yup I caught Dragapult after i finished the Kalos league a few years back, I decided to head to Galar and see what kind of interesting Pokémon I could find there. I guess I was pretty lucky running into a Dreepy.she said back to him
Kalakaua:well I was going to use Dragonite for this battle but I need this full advantage, Samurott let's go.he said as he threw him out
As Kalakaua's large Hisuain Samurott had appeared on the battlefield releasing a loud roar to announce his arrival as his Samurott stands at the height of 8'2 as he also appeared with a ring of shine which signifies that it's a shiny Pokémon.
Astrid had stood there narrowing her eyes at the mysterious Samurott since she's never seen a Samurott like his before and she most certainly haven't battled against one like Kala's, and plus she seen the battle in the first round.
Samurott is really aggressive which is what she needs to be wary of.
Astrid:*narrows her eyes*I've seen it before in the first round but this is the first time seeing it in person, just what kind of Samurott is that anyways is it some kind of a new breed.she questioned him
Kalakaua:far from it, you see Samurott is actually pretty ancient i just was lucky that the Oshawott I had still had its ancient genes in him.he said back to her
Astrid:*thinks to herself*I need to be careful with this one, it's clear that this Samurott is not an ordinary one and plus it looks can kill a person with its stare.she thought to herself

Both Pokémon had carried out their orders as Dragapult had launched the draconian beam at Samurott who also launched the stream of water at the beam as they both collided with each other creating an explosion that covered the field.
Kalakaua:now Samurott use Ice Beam.he ordered him
Astrid:dodge it Dragapult.she cured out to him
Kalakaua:lead it Samurott.he said
As Dragapult had tried to dodge the attack but it was unsuccessful since Samurott had lead him by aiming ahead as the beam had struck Dragapult who cried out in pain as he was falling down bit.
Kalakaua:now Samurott use Night Slash.he ordered
Samurott had roared as he grabbed on his sword on his arms and leaped at the falling Dragapult as he slashed him with his glowing blade as Dragapult had once again cried out in pain as he landed onto the battlefield creating a small cloud of dust from the impact.
But as Samurott had landed his entire body has gotten black electricity around him which confused him and also Kala a bit until he realized about Dragapults ability.
Kalakaua:*surprised*so that Dragapult has Cursed Body.he said out In surprise
Astrid:yup he sure does, and it's came in handy as well a bit in the past and even right now.she said back to him
Kalakaua:so that's why you wanted that Night Slash to land although it'll do a great deal of damage to him in the first place.he said
Astrid:to put it simply yes and Dragapults knows of the risk as well, now use Dragon Darts.she commanded
Kalakaua:try and slice the Dreepy's.he said to him
Samurott had unsheathed his double blades and waited for the Dreepy's to come closer to him and once they were close he tried to swing at them but was unsuccessful, as the Dreepy's had completely dodged the attack and hit Samurott as he gritted his teeth withstanding the pain.
Astrid:now use Dragon Rush.she ordered
Kalakaua:crap, Samurott use Ceaseless Edge.he commanded
Samurott had glared at Dragapult who was flying at him with incredible speeds until Samurott's body had started to cackle with purple electricity a bit which Kala had noticed and so did Keenan as he narrowed his eyes.
It seems that Samurott is close to breaking his limiter but he just needs one more push and he'll reach a new form of power, as Samurott had roared as he swung the sword covered in black energy that hit Dragapult which caused a large explosion.
The explosion had pushed Samurott back as he still has the sword in his hand as he glared at the dust cloud, as it started to clear ahi up revealed Dragapult to be down for the count. That alone had surprised Astrid and even Trip and Remo as they definitely wasn't expecting that at all, since Dragapult has to be one of her strongest Pokémon.

Announcer:down goes Astrid's Dragapult and what a quick knockout as well, I guess Samurott's power was a bit too much for it to handle. As Astrid is now down to her last Pokémon while Kalakaua still has his Dragonite along with his Samurott, can she turns this battle around.he commented
Astrid:*returns him*you did very well Dragapult return and get some rest.she praised him
Kalakaua:*looking at Samurott*that small spark of purple electricity i just know he's close to breaking his limiter, all he needs is one more push and that's when Absol will come in to play.he thought to himself
Astrid:*thinks to herself*Kalakaua really is a strong trainer he defeated Dragapult so easily, and not even Norman or Juan managed to bring him down that easily. He really is someone interesting.she thought to herself
She pulled out her last Pokémon as she looked at her ball as this is the final battle for her and the last stretch as well, she knows that she most likely can't win this battle but she'll try and do as much damage to Samurott as she can.
Astrid:well Kala this is my final Pokémon so let's make this a good one.she said back to him
Kalakaua:it seems your still confident although your very close to losing.he said
Astrid:*smirks*even if I'm this close to losing I won't give up that easily, and besides I'll just disappoint my Pokémon. Absol this is our final chance let's go.she said
Once again Astrid's Absol had made his appearance onto the tall grass battlefield one last time as he glared at the Samurott since he knows that he's the last one standing and both him and Astrid knows that this won't be easy.

Astrid:*touches the keystone*I'm not going to hold back anymore I'm going all out for this one, it's them we show them our Mega Evolution Absol.she said
Kalakaua:*smirks*now this is just what Samurott needed, a good reason to push himself.he said to himself
The beams of light had emerged from the 2 stones as they connected with each other as they were the regular golden yellow and a light purple from Absol, as the said Pokémon has been engulfed by the bright purple light as he roared loudly.
Absol had finished dais transformation as the large DNA symbol had appeared in front of him which the light had stopped to reveal his new form along with the added power.
Kalakaua:so this is your full power, let's see what it's made of.he said out loud
Astrid:we'll be glad to show you, now Absol use Psycho Cut.she commanded him
Kala didn't gave a command since he knows that attack won't do anything to him as the large horn on Absol had gained a purple pinkish glow as he swung his head which released the arch of psychic energy, the attack had hit Samurott head on but it didn't do a thing.
As Samurott had stood there with a menacing smirk on his face which shocked Astrid.
Astrid:*shocked*what but how it didn't do a thing to it.she said out in shock
Kalakaua:in case you haven't noticed that this Samurott has 2 typings, and it's other type is Dark type. Now Samurott use Megahorn.he commanded him
Astrid:counter with your Megahorn Absol.they both commanded the same moves
Samurott and Absol had charged at one another with their horns glowing light green with power as they both clashed in the middle creating sparks and winds in all directions from the amount of power that they have, as Absol had gritted his teeth a bit more as he managed to land the hit.
As Samurott was sent sliding back to Kalakaua's side of the field while Absol had stood there glaring at Samurott.
At this point Absol had surpassed Samurott as he's now at a High tier to Complex Elite Four level and Samurott is only in the Mid tier Elite Four level, so he doesn't really stand a chance.
Kala had noticed the black electricity again dancing around Samurott as Astrid had also noticed the electricity but didn't said anything as of yet and well not like she knows what it is in the first place.
Astrid:alright Absol use Dark Pulse now.she commanded
Kalakaua:dodge it Samurott and use Poison Jab.he commanded
As Samurott had managed to dodge the chain of dark energy that was launched at him as Samurott and punched Absol across the face with his fist covered in a poisonous energy which sent him back.
But Absol wasn't unharmed since he gritted his teeth since he's now been poisoned from the attack which Astrid had grit her teeth in frustration since there's going to be passive damage now.
Kalakaua:keep up the pressure, Samurott use Hydro Pump now.he ordered him
Astrid:dodge it using Quick Attack.she commanded
Samurott had unleashed the stream of water at Absol who's body had gotten a small blue glow to her as she managed to effortlessly dodge the attack just like what Samurott did not to long ago wing her Dark Pulse as Absol had slammed her horn against his chest.
Which did nothing but irritate him as he growled and swung one of his sword at her which sent her flung back to Astrid's side as Samurott continued to glare at her with anger as is body had started to get more of the black electricity.
Astrid:*thinks to herself*what's with the black electricity dancing around him is he starting to feel tired or is it something else.she thought to herself
Kalakaua:*thinks to himself*cmon just a bit more and he'll break his limits just need to have him have a desire to get strong.he thought to himself
Astrid:alright Absol let's finish this with Thunderbolt now.she ordered her
Kalakaua:try and withstand it now Samurott.he said to him
As Astrid had thought that he was crazy which she isn't wrong but that's not why he's doing it for, as Absol had roared as the powerful arch of lightning had made its way over toward Samurott who roared in pain as he's trying to withstand the attack.
Until his body had started to glow a dark purple color as the same black electricity had stared to dance around him which shocked Astrid and pretty much everyone in the stadium aside from Keenan,Tatsumi and James.
Keenan/Tatsumi/James:*thinks to themselves*he's breaking through his limiter.they thought to themselves
Samurott had gave one last roar as his entire body had gotten covered in an intense purple light which blinded Astrid a bit as she's looking at Samurott with both a confused and shocked expression on her face since she has no idea what's going on.
Astrid:*shocked*what the hell is happening to your Samurott.she questioned him
Kalakaua:*smirks*he's finally breaking his limiter.he said out loud
Astrid:the hell is a limiter.she questioned
Kalakaua:a limiter is something that every Pokémon has, as it does take some pretty intense training to reach that level. But it also comes at a cost if your Pokémon can't handle it.he said back to her
Astrid:*looking at him*what if that's true then aren't you worried for your Samurott.she asked him
Kalakaua:usually I would be worried but unlike most Pokémon, Samurott here can actually handle it.he said back to her
As Samurott had started to breathe heavily as his body is still glowing a bit similar to Beerus from DBS using his Destruction powers as there's a noticeable glow in his eyes which made Absol step back in fright and well Keenan and Tatsumi would do the same to be honest if they were in her position.
Kalakaua:*smirks*let's use our new move, now Samurott use Kyoka Suigetsu.he commanded him
Keenan:*raises an eyebrow*huh wait don't tell me he got that from the anime Bleach.he commented
As Samurott had smirked as he grabbed his 2 swords and combined them into one which made in extra long powerful sword as it's swirling with intense dark type energy, but that's not all this sword is 4x effective on any Pokémon that he uses it on.
So in other words Absol is pretty much fucked at this point there's no escaping Samurott now.
Samurott had jumped high into the air as the poor Absol could only look up at her demise as Samurott had grinned as the massive sword had hit her which caused a large pillar of light to shoot up into the sky. As it literally changed the entire color of the area to a dark purple color which made Astrid to cover her face from the light.
Everyone in the stands was pretty much scared at this point as the dust and smoke had started to clear to reveal Absol in a trench in front of Astrid with scratches and bruises all over her, as she has swirls in her eyes.

Pretty much everyone in the entire stadium was shocked to see this but they all cheered loudly for the first battle of the semi finals as Kalakaua really has proven himself.
As Samurott had fell down from the exhaustion as he sighed heavily as he quickly went up toward him to check if he's ok which thankfully he is.
Kalakaua:*smiles*thanks for winning me the battle Samurott I'll be sure to give all of you something to eat after all of this.he thanked him
Astrid:*smiles*you've done really well Absol return and get some rest, you've earned it.she praised her as she gotten sucked into the ball
Kala had also returned Samurott back into his ball for he can rest and save his energy for the finals since he'll need Samurott's new power for the finals that's for sure, as both him and Astrid had looked at each other.
Astrid:*chuckles*well you managed to defeat Kala and i must say that last attack you did with Samurott was something I wasn't expecting that's for sure, it had so much power behind it.she said back to him
Kalakaua:well I guess I was just lucky with that power up but him breaking his limiter was most likely the reason why he learned a powerful move.he said out loud
Astrid:again with that limiter talk just what do you even mean by that.she asked him
Kalakaua:I'll be glad to answer that for you but Keenan knows more about it then me so you have to discuss that with him.he replied to her
Astrid:*smirks*hmm I see well I'll be sure to talk to him then, but before that.she said
She walked up to him and grabbed onto his collar of his shirt and pulled in for a hot kiss on the lips which made Kalakaua shocked at what just happened and so was pretty much everyone in the crowd as they too was shocked as they just witnessed past opponents kiss each other.
As Kala was blushing quite hard from that unexpected kiss until she finally pulled away from him as she's giving him a smirk as she seems satisfied of what she just did.
Astrid:*smirks*you may have beaten me in battle Kalakaua but I can still defeat you in other ways, but I'll see you around alright and I'll be sure to watch your battle in the finals.she told him
Astrid had walked away with a bit of swing her hips as Kala stood there wide eyed and shocked as he glanced at Keenan and Tatsumi who were giving him thumbs up.
Kalakaua:*blushing a bit*geez today was something very interesting that's for sure.he said to himself
Kalakaua:but it's time to see who'll be my final opponent in this whole tournament.he said while walking out of the stadium
A/N:phew finally gotten this dam chapter done and over with and well let me tell ya somethin, this was a bitch to finish since I wanted to fit the rest of the battle into this one chapter. The reason is that I have something planned for the 100th chapter and I still need to finish the final battle between Kala and his opponent.
Wanted to do an O.V.A in this chapter but my back was hurting and my fingers and hands was cramping from the constant typing so I threw that out the window.
Need to fit in most of the battle in the next chapter and finish it in the 98th chapter while chapter 99 can be well a fuck around chapter, but it'll be Takuto's party because he'll be turning 8 years old.
But we'll see if anything I'll push his birthday party to chapter 101 lol.
