Author's Note: I had a very hard trying to figure out what to write for this since I didn't know what Christmas was like back in the Victorian Era so I had to do research for this and go back to the manga so can give you guys an idea what Christmas was like back then so enjoy!
Your POV~
Sleeping peacefully in my bed with the warmth of my duvet blanket keeping me all snuggled up
From the cold winter that has already started since December arrive
But not knowing a certain someone was staring down at me as I sleep
*Splat*
"Ahhhh!!" I woke up screaming when all of sudden something cold hit my face running my peaceful slumber
"Hahaha! I got you this time Y/N!"
The loud voice irritated me, wiping the cold substance off my face after regaining my thoughts
I realized it was pure snow that my brother has gotten from outside throwing it at my face to wake me up
" You got me last year Y/N it's only fair I get you back you too!" He said still laughing at his cruel joke while I on the other hand was glaring daggers at him
His laugh stop as he saw when I pull out of dagger from under the pillow

I then
proceeded to chase him around the house welding a sharp weapon in hand when I finally corner him I was about to just give him a small cut nothing more but only to be stopped when I was picked up by the collar of my nightshirt
" Y/N wait do you want to be an only child!....?huh oh hey dad!"
He said now that he looked up seeing father just with pure disappointment written on his face
" Why do you two always pull childish pranks on one another this early!" He said gently putting me down
I and my brother look at each other before plainly looking bored at our father
"Because we are children father!"
We both said in unison our father shivered at the way we spoke almost with no emotion in our tone
" Alright you two enough playing around we need to get going this morning no playing or pranks understand"
Our mother soothing voice caught our attention we both ran to her
Holding onto her dress with our little hands
" Mom you're all dressed up today are you going somewhere...?" I ask as she simply smiles down at me picking me up and holding me in her arms while ruffling my brother's hair
" We all going to the Queen's castle today to celebrate Christmas so you two need to be on your best behavior understand?" She asks for the both of us
"Yes, Mother!" We said she then called a maid for us to get a dress for the day
After we had gotten prepared then began the carriage ride to the queen's home sitting next to my brother who was reading his book during the ride leaving me to slowly get bored staring out the window at the snow falling over the street of England
Upon arrival at the castle where a party was being held in the ballroom mostly full of nobles who are close to the queen
But once I was told I wouldn't be around the adults during the party they place me and my brother in a separate room with other kids of noble families
~~Time skip~~
It's been an hour since we were put in the playroom away from the adults my boredom was taking over since the toys were nowhere fun even talking with kids didn't work since most of them were either spoiled entitled brats or suck-ups trying to get close because their parents told them to
So we decided to devise a plan to sneak out to find our entertainment
Not too long now a maid and butler came in to hang out snacks to the other children as they were distracted we managed to slip way out of the playroom and into the hallway of the castle and continued to look around we ended up up up in the throne room
Which was currently empty we ran up to the actual throne I sat there first as my brother complained about not getting there first as we both argue we didn't notice the door open but closed very loudly as we look to see who it was
"Ciel!...what are doing here!" I said as I got down from the throne running up to him
" Y/N is that you!" He said running to me
I hug him before answering his question
" Ciel I'm glad you're here but shouldn't you be in the playroom though?" I said to him
" I was in the playroom but I heard from the other kids you will be here too so left in search of you !" He said his cheeks tinted pink
" Well thank you, Ciel but it's best to go back now since Astre is alone and I can't have that now," I said taking his hand and leading him out of the throne room except he didn't budge stopping me in my move
" Can't we just be the two of us instead Y/N...you always with Astre instead of me all the time" he said a frown plastered on his face I look up at my brother who was conflicted as well as I was
" Okay, I'll go look after Astre in the meantime you go hang out with my sister okay Ciel!" He said snickering at me as he left me with Ciel
As he left Ciel then hug me
" Yay it's just us Y/N let's go sneak into the party I remember seeing some macaroons there we could eat them together what do you say!?" He said so happy and cheerful
I didn't want to exactly be with him at the moment but I can't just leave him alone or ignore either since father will be displeased at my actions
So I agree with him
Making our way to the adult party we managed to sneak through to hide underneath the table thank to the cloth hiding our presence
I decided to go up from the table to grab a plate of sweets and then go under to share it with Ciel
Eating the treats in silence
Till Ciel spoke up
"Y/N can I ask you something..?"
He said staring down at his macaroon cookie in hand I look to see him with a worried look on him
" Go ahead what is it?" I told waiting for the response
"...are you okay with being married to Astre?" He said now looking directly at my eyes
His question left me feeling stump
' why is he asking me this?'
" Yes I am but why ask something like this Ciel?" I ask him
" I don't think you'll be happy with him Y/N," he said sounding so serious
" Wait what do you mean Ciel...
How could you say that about him!" I ask getting irritated at him
" But Y/N won't you he hold you back because of his illness... I just want you to be with someone who can give you everything!" He said tears forming around his eyes
" So what leave him and be with you then Ciel!"
My anger Finally hit I didn't care if we get caught I just couldn't Ciel insult Astre like that
"Yes!" He said it loudly this time before I respond the cloth from the table was lifted showing it was Rachel Phatomive who lift it
"Kids what in god's name are doing here?!" She said very upset to see us here
Before I could say anything Ciel ran to his mother's arm then sobbed into her
" I'm sorry mother I didn't want to go but Y/N drag me here instead!" He lied to his mother
I was caught off guard still what his motive was but seeing how his mother glared at me and then drag my arm from under the table
" Y/N why must you always bring my son's into trouble!" She said as the other guest of the party finally paid attention to the scene
I was frozen in shock and hurt by someone who I thought I could trust
" What the hell do you think holding my daughter like that?!" I hear my mother's voice seeing her march toward me
She slaps Rachel's grip from me before lifting me up
" Your daughter always drags my son into trouble!" She yelled at her
" Dear calm down I'm sure the kids just wanna explore and play," Vincent said trying to calm down the problem
"Then is why my son crying then 'cause she drag my son around when he didn't want to!"
"Vincent you're gonna let your wife start acting all hysterical like that!" My mother said finally pissed
Vincent couldn't speak at all
" Fine then consider the arrangements off Phatomive!" She said storming off with me in her arm
I try to look behind but what caught me off guard is what led me to a lifetime hatred of the Phatomives
