Rocky kept following the car until it came to a halt. John came out of the car with priya. He held her by her hair and wrist because she's one hell of a feisty girl who couldn't stop biting his hands.
"Stop moving around or else" John threatened her. She just smirked and asked him "or else what? You don't have the guts to do anything admit it." She spat on him. John ran out of his patience and slapped her.
Rocky came out of the car and saw the whole event take place. He could only see John at that moment. He was angry so angry that he could detach johns head barehand. He walked to where they were situated to kill John but he stepped on a sign board. 'Caution danger ahead.' Before he could react, a bullet was shot on his chest.
Priya heard the gunshot and jerked her head. She saw rocky kneeling on the ground with blood spurting out of his chest. She was frozen. Not knowing how to react. She felt that she could've stopped that from happening if she paid more attention to their surroundings. Not a single word came out. Her body just stopped functioning as a whole.
The guards of Kgf arrived to help as well but when they saw rocky on the ground wounded, they got worried. Adheera also joined the scene. He walked towards rocky. "Can't you read the board?" He taunted him.
"To build Kgf, so many steps were taken and so many deaths were seen. You just took one step, killed few people and thought you climbed the ladder. However, there's a change in the game. If you climbed the ladder then there's a snake waiting. The snakes one bite will drop you back to square one." Rocky fell to the ground completely.
"You easily killed my people that day but I won't. Go I'll leave you." Everyone rushed to help carry rocky. Priya also came back to her senses and ran to him.
"You have to go back to your people. The Kgf residents have trusted you. That trust has to break down. They have to see you in this condition, your blood" Adheera said.
"Tell them I'm coming back to take back my sword and Kgf."
Priya went inside the car with rocky. She made his head rest on her lap and started sobbing. She couldn't bare to him like that, so weak and vulnerable. She used her dupatta to stop the flow of the blood. The girl was blaming herself for his condition.
Priya pov
It's all my fault. It's all my fault. I'm so useless. I was here to change his faith but I failed miserably. He still got shot. I'm so sorry raja.
"Please no matter what happens, don't give up ok. I'm so sorry."

Author pov
Doctors pulled the bullet out of his chest. Priyas idea of setting up a medical camp in Kgf paid off as they were quick to treat rocky. After treatment they left saying the rest is all the gods will.
Priya never left his room and stayed in a corner because she blamed herself what had happened. She was trembling. Her vision was blurry because of the tears welled up in her eyes. Priya didn't bother wiping it away because she simply had no more energy left.
"Please rest, you haven't eaten anything." Fathima tried persuading priya but nothing worked.
Priya just hugged her and cried her heart out. "It's all because of me.." she repeated again and again.
"No it's not. It's the almighty, it's all his plan. Don't blame yourself for this. You have to stay strong." She tried again.
At last, she succeeded in stopping priya from crying and made her drink some water.

At night
The whole Kgf was shaken by the agonising scream of rocky. The pain being evident in his voice. No one could do anything to help him other than pray. Priya was panicking. The piercing scream was hurting her. Her heart hammering inside her chest ready to burst out. Her muscles were so tight that she couldn't even move.
She prayed to the god to ease his pain. All she could do was hold his hands and cry. Few moments later, she removed the tabiz from her neck and put it in his hands. "If you believed that this protected me when you were gone then it has to save you now." She said while sobbing.
As if magic, his screams came to a halt. He was finally sleeping properly. The teary eyed girl was thanking the gods for this. She kissed his hands and rested her head beside him. Watching him breathe while he's sleeping was somehow healing for her as well. She didn't realise when the slumber hit her and brought upon darkness around.

Rocky woke up feeling slight pain around his chest area. He touched the wound and remembered what had happened. He tried moving his other hand and woke up the sleeping girl in the process. She immediately helped him sit upright and gave him a glass of water to drink.
"Malamma bring him something to eat." Priya shouted. "Do you need anything else?" She asked the wounded. He jut shook his head as a response.
There was a loud silence in the room after that. No one spoke a word. That is until malamma came back with a bowl of soup. She gave that to priya so that she can feed him. He couldn't do so with his bandaged arm.
"You need to eat medicine after this." That's the only thing she said.
The phone rang and all their attention went to the phone. Priya helped rocky again with the telephone. "Hello?" He said. a very annoying voice answered back. "Ay, rocky bhai, heard you became badshah" he laughed after that. "You were better here living off of my mercy. You went there to make a name for yourself now you'll die a dogs death." His mocking were making priya angry but it felt nothing to rocky.
"But still, I'll give you one more chance..come here sit on the ground and massage leg. Ohh you also have a queen now right." This was the moment where Shettys Sade sati started. His grip on the telephone became stronger and his muscle tensed. Priya could feel his anger growing inside of him so she caressed his arms to calm him. "Don't forget to bring her as well." The like cut off after that.
"ignore him, you just focus on healing right now."she tried feeding him again but he stopped her. Maybe he lost his appetite after that. She went to get his medicine's and he just stared at her. Wondering why isn't she talking properly with him. "...what happened." He asked her. The girl ignored his words and gave him the medicine and water. He swallowed the pills and grabbed priyas hands before she could leave.
"Kya hua?" He asked her softly. He was waiting for an answer but instead found her sobbing. "I'm so sorry...I knew this was going to happen...but I didn't do anything to stop it...I'm so sorry." She was still blaming herself for everything. This hurt the already wounded man so much.
He wiped her tears and made her face come forward to kiss her forehead. "No sona, it's not your fault. Everything was my decision. I chose to follow you and I chose to fight with them. It was my irresponsibility that I didn't pay attention to the surroundings and got shot." He tried his best to speak out the words to make her feel better but nothing was working.
"No rocky, it's me. I'm so weak that I clumsy protect myself that led to you following the trap. I knew what was going to happen yet I didn't warn you thinking a-adheera won't be back until a some time. I'm scared...what if I f-fail to save you...what if I-I become the r-reason for your d-death" the pain was evident in her voice. She was really afraid of losing rocky.
"You know, your tears are more painful that this wound because the bullet only hit my chest area but your tears hit in my heart. If you don't stop crying I swear I die—" Priya immediately covered his mouth with his hands. "Shut up, no more death talks." She said and hugged him trying her best not to hurt him.
"Thank you for loving me." She said and they stayed in that position for a long time.

"Chacha, will you do one last thing for me?" He asked in a very tired voice. "Tell me." Qasim said.
After that he cut off the phone. He looked at priya and smiled. "The situation here is too stuffy, let's go on a vacation." She understood what he meant and that's what she likes about him. He doesn't let anything hinder her way and never gives up.
