"jade! we're gonna be late, let's go already!" dustin shrieks, promptly waking me up.
startled, i fall off of the bed.
what an incredible way to start the day!
i quickly run to the bathroom, brushing my teeth half assed & throwing my tangled hair into a messy ponytail. i dart back to my room, thanking the gods above that i picked out an outfit before i went to bed the night before.
one thing about me: i love having a unique sense of style.
in fact, most people at hawkins know me for it.
i've spent years perfecting my wardrobe to a T.
granted, a lot of it is too big on me now.
but oh well!
i get dressed as fast as humanly possible, before spritzing on a few sprays of my favorite perfume.
running downstairs, i slip on my socks.
white, ankle length, with red hearts.
"you just woke up, didn't you!" dustin says in a rather annoyed tone.
"no! okay, maybe. but i'm ready now!" i snap back.
i quickly put on my low rise, platform doc martens.
"really?" dustin says with a judgy look plastered on his face.
"what?" i say, unamused.
"you choose to wear your grandpa shoes when we're running late??" he says.
i scoff. "what grandpa wears platform leather shoes? maybe a sexy university teacher, but-"
dustin cuts me off. "ok, ok. let's just go!"
"that's what i thought!" i smirk.

at school :
"bye!" dustin says before grabbing his bag and slamming my car door.
"uh, you mean thank you?" i say semi jokingly.
"yeah, thanks for nothing. i'm late because of you!" he says annoyed.
"ugh!" i say, getting out and shutting the driver side door.
"pick me up after d&d?" he asks, giving me puppy dog eyes.
i glare at him for a second, before nodding. "9?"
"thank you!" he says before running off.

eddie and i haven't talked much since georgia. we're friendly, i've helped him study. but we haven't really talked about it..
as for billy?
i'll catch him staring in the halls, but we haven't talked since the day after the party.

as i walk into class, i see everyone paring up for some sort of project, i assume.
"jade! you can partner with.." the teacher starts.
please not billy, please not billy. i think to myself.
"billy!" she says.
i have a feeling the whole 'no talking' thing is about to end..

so long, to be honest i haven't
had very much motivation as
of lately. but i'm going to start
updating atleast once a week!
