It was a few days later, Kendra woke up around 8:00am. She stood and stretched then walked into the bathroom, she turned the shower on and just as she was about to get undressed she felt something running down her leg. She looked down and saw that her water had broke.
"Oh no." She walked back into her room "Kieran!" She shook him.
"Hmm?" He moved around in bed.
"My water just broke, we have to get to the hospital asap."
His eyes shot open "Oh my god, She's coming early?" He sat up in bed.
"Yes! Let's go!"
He jumped up out of bed and started to help her get dressed "Everything is going to be okay, don't worry Kendra. Everything is going to be fine."
"I'm not worrying, you are." Kendra laughed "It's kind of cute."
"Sorry. I know that I've done this before but it's still kind of scary."
"It's fine babe." Kendra leaned in kissing him. "I can get dressed, you get dressed."
"Okay." He started to get dressed while Kendra finished getting ready, she slipped her flip flops on then stood.
He hurried and got dressed then grabbed the hospital bag "Let's go baby." He wrapped his arm around her's as they left the room.
He grabbed the car keys off the counter and opened the front door for her, As soon as she stepped out the door she got a sharp pain in her uterus.
"Shit! I think I'm having my first contraction, it hurts like a bitch." Kendra took a few deep breaths in and out.
"Just keep taking deep breaths." He locked the door and helped her to the car, he opened her side and helped her in. He walked over to his side and got in then drove off.

It's hours later, Kendra still haven't gave birth because she was dilated a few centimeters.
"Babe, do you need anything?" Kieran asked.
"All I need is for this baby to get out of me, like this is the worst pain i've ever been through."
"Don't worry baby, you only got 3 centimeters to go." He held her hand.
The doctor walked inside the room followed by two nurses "How are you doing?"
Kendra looked up at the doctor "I feel like I've been in labor forever, Please tell me it's almost over."
"You're doing Great Kendra, I'm gonna check and see how far along you are." He checked me again "Well great news, You're finally 10 centimeters dilated. It's time to have your baby."
"Finally!" Kendra yelled.
The doctor slipped his gloves on "Now listen Kendra, you're gonna push when I tell you to, When I tell you to stop pushing then stop okay?"
"Okay." Kendra took a few deep breaths.
"Okay good." The doctor sat down between my legs and lifted the sheet "Okay Kendra push."
Kendra started to push as hard as she could, she pushed for a few more seconds "Stop pushing." The doctor said.
She stopped and started to breathe faster "It's okay baby." Kieran stood by her side holding her hand tight.
"Okay Kendra, Push again" She began pushing hard again "Oh my god, this hurts bad." She cried.
"She's almost here, Just a couple more pushes Kendra." The doctor said.
Kendra pushed again with all her might "I see the head! Keep going!" The doctor said.
After pushing for the next couple of minutes finally her baby was fully out.
"Good Job Kendra" The doctor wrapped her baby up in a towel and handed her to Kendra.
"Oh my god, she's so beautiful." Kendra cried.
"See, I knew you could do it." Kieran leaned in kissing her on the lips.
"Did you both come up with a name for her yet?" The Nurse asked.
"No, not yet." Kendra replied.
"Take your time, we're gonna leave you two to get some alone time and we'll be back in a few minutes." They smiled and left.
"What do you think we should name her?" Kendra asked.
"I don't know, what do you think about Daisy?" He replied.
"Not so bad, but I don't like it that much. What about Hope?"
"Hope is fine with me." He smiled.
"Welcome Hope." They both smiled down at her.

It's a few days later, Kendra and Kieran have just returned back from the hospital. Kieran rolled the stroller inside while Kendra took a seat on the couch.
"I am tired as shit." Kendra sighed.
"Why don't you get some rest then? I can handle this."
"No, I don't wanna leave you up alone with her, I'll stay awake."
"Kendra, I've done this before. I promise I got this, you've been through a hard time for months so I got this. Get some rest." He kissed her on the lips.
"Okay. Thank you baby." She stood.
"Of course, I love you."
"I love you too." Kendra walked upstairs to her room and laid down, she slowly fell asleep.
A few days passed, Kendra woke up at 8:00 am. After stretching and making her way to the bathroom, she turned on the shower. But just as she was about to undress, she felt a sudden rush down her leg. Looking down, she realized her water had broken.
"Oh no." She hurried back to the bedroom and shook Kieran awake.
"Hmm?" He groggily stirred in bed.
"My water just broke. We need to get to the hospital as soon as possible."
His eyes shot open. "Oh my god, is she coming early?" He sat up in bed.
"Yes! Let's go!"
Jumping out of bed, he helped Kendra get dressed. "Everything will be okay, don't worry Kendra. Everything will be fine."
"I'm not worrying, you are." Kendra chuckled. "It's kind of cute."
"Sorry. I know I've been through this before, but it's still a bit scary."
"It's fine, babe." Kendra leaned in and kissed him. "I can get dressed, you go get dressed."
"Okay." He quickly got dressed while Kendra finished preparing. She slipped on her flip-flops and stood.

The doctor entered the room, followed by two nurses. "How are you doing?"

"You're doing great, Kendra. I'm going to check and see how far along you are." He examined her again. "Well, great news. You're finally 10 centimeters dilated. It's time to have your baby."

"Good job, Kendra." The doctor wrapped the baby up in a towel and handed her to Kendra.

"See, I knew you could do it." Kieran leaned in and kissed her on the lips.

"No, not yet," Kendra replied.

"What do you think we should name her?" Kendra asked.
"I don't know. What do you think about Daisy?" he suggested.
"Not bad, but I'm not in love with it. What about Hope?"
"Hope is fine with me." He smiled.
"Welcome, Hope." They both smiled down at her.

A few days later, Kendra and Kieran had just returned home from the hospital. Kieran rolled the stroller inside while Kendra took a seat on the couch.
"I am exhausted." Kendra sighed.
"Why don't you get some rest? I can handle this."
"No, I don't want to leave you alone with her. I'll stay awake."
"Kendra, I've been through this before. I promise I've got this. You've been through a tough time for months, so I can handle it. Get some rest." He kissed her on the lips.
"Okay. Thank you, baby." She stood up.
"Of course, I love you."
"I love you too." Kendra walked upstairs to her room and slowly drifted off to sleep.
