3rd P.O.V
In the night at the Tsukumo house, there we see Yuto sleeping peacefully until he heard some kind of whooshing sound coming from Yuma's room which means in the attic.
Yuto opened his eyes and yawned as he kept hearing those sounds.
Yuto: "Ok this is happening for a couple of days this stops now."
So he went to check it out, then he reached the attic to see a young girl with silver hair wearing a black outfit for stealth and wearing glasses. But when he saw the shape of her looked almost like cat ears as he recognized it.
Yuto: "What are you doing here, Cathy?"
He said as she flinch his voice and she looks at him.
Cathy: "H-Hi. Yuto."
Yuto knew her since they are in the same class together. Also, he knows that she has a crush on Yuma, so he sighs and looks at her.
Yuto: "Listen, Cathy. I know that you like Yuma and all, but can you please keep it down a bit I'm trying to sleep."
He said as she nodded.
Cathy: "Sorry about that, Yuto."
He nodded and went back to his bed, but Astral followed him.
Astral: "Yuto, why didn't you stop her?"
He looks at Astral.
Yuto: "She just trying to get him to notice her, but the way she's doing it won't do it."
That got him to think for a bit.
Astral: "So why not help her?"
That got his attention from Astral question.
Yuto: "Well I could, but I need a way to get him to know her first."
Astral nodded as Yuto began to yawn and get sleepy.
Yuto: "I'll figure something out, also Astral doesn't tell Yuma anything about me talking to her, okay?"
He said as Astral nodded in agreement.
Astral: "Okay goodnight, Yuto."
Yuma: "Night, Astral."
Then Astral went back to Yuma while Yuto went back to sleep in his room
Timeskip
At school in the classroom, everyone was talking and Tori was talking to Bronk about Astral.
Tori: "I am getting worried though."
Bronk: "What do you mean, Tori?"
Tori: "What I mean is that both Yuto and Yuma are the only ones to see Astral and help him to get those Number cards."
She said as Bronk nodded.
Bronk: "I understand that what we have seen so far is not good."
Then flashbacks of the Number of monsters they encounter with the Duelist personality change when they got it so far.
Bronk: "Something is not right about those cards."
She agreed with him and couldn't help, but worry about that especially for Yuto to be in this mess. Then they heard footsteps.
Yuma: "Morning."
They look and to their surprise see what they can't believe. Yuma was wearing strange clothing and not his school uniform and Yuto was right behind him and seeing that he was trying not to laugh to see Yuma dress like that.
The whole class starts laughing at Yuma.
Tori: "Yuma, what are you wearing?"
He looks at them with a confused look
Yuma: "What are you talking about?"
Yuto looks at him and sighs.
Yuto: "You're really dense idiots, Yuma not even realizing it."
He said and Yuma glared at him.
Yuma: "What do you mean, Yuto?"
Yuto: "Don't you notice that they are laughing at you?"
He made a confused look
Yuma: "Someone said a joke?"
That made Yuto facepalm at Yuma's density.
Tori: "You're the joke, Yuma."
Then she brings out a mirror from out of nowhere.
Yuto: "How in the world did you get that?"
Then Yuma looks at the reflection and he is surprised at what he's wearing.
Yuma: "How in the world I'm dressed like this?!"
Bronk: "Wait, you didn't know?"
He shook his head and look at Yuto.
Yuma: "Why you didn't tell me, Yuto?"
Yuto: "My reason is simple, Yuma. Don't rely on me too much, because I won't be around for your own problems and it is hilarious."
That got him to sigh, then Tori told Yuma about strange things that happen to him a few days ago, and Yuto glanced at the classroom looking straight at Cathy.
Yuto: "Cathy. I don't know how, but you made things pretty interesting towards, Yuto."
Then Astral appears.
Astral: "I did see someone last night going around in your room."
He looks at Astral.
Yuma: "You did, but why didn't you say anything?"
Astral: "I thought is something for you humans to do when someone is in the room while the person is sleeping?"
He didn't say about Yuto who saw her keep Yuma to figure out on his own.
Yuma: "No, Astral. It is not good at all."
Then Yuto looks at Cathy.
Yuto: "If only I can help her to get Yuma to talk to her and to know her, I get the feeling they will be a cute couple, but Yuma mostly be whipped."
Then he looks at Yuma arguing with Tori.
Yuma: "Like I wear these clothes on purpose."
Tori: "Yeah, right. You have no sense of fashion."
That got him to glare at her.
Yuma: "Is that a challenge?"
That made Tori nod which got Yuto's attention along with an idea for it and looks at Cathy.
Yuto: "Well Cathy your wait is over."
He heard their challenge tomorrow at three which made it simple for him to come up with an idea.
Mini Timeskip
After class, Yuto followed Cathy.
Yuto: "Cathy."
She got his attention.
Cathy: "Hey, Yuto."
Yuto: "Listen, I have the plan to get Yuma to notice you, and Tori will help."
That got her attention.
Cathy: "Really and why would we need her?"
Yuto: "Because their challenge is the only way to get Yuma to notice you."
That got her attention and they went to find Tori as they found Tori, they went to talk to her. At first, she is surprised that Cathy has a crush on Yuma and wants to help.
Tori: "So what can I do to help?"
Yuto began telling the plan to Tori and Cathy.
Timeskip
Both Yuma and Yuto are in a plaza waiting for Tori to show up and Yuma looks at the time.
Yuma: "She said don't be late and now jokes on her."
Yuto sighs at his but knows this is part of his plan.
Flashback
They finished hearing Yuto's plan on getting to know Cathy to Yuma.
Tori: "So Yuma has to notice her, but how?"
Yuto: "Easy dueling."
That got them to understand.
Cathy: "Do you think it will work?"
He nodded and looks at Tori.
Yuto: "Tori, I need your ribbon so that it could be more convincing."
That got her to worry a little and he noticed her hesitation.
Yuto: "Don't worry I will give it back and besides you look cuter with it on."
That made Tori blush which got Cathy to notice and giggled, then Tori took her ribbon and give it to Yuto.
Tori: "Please hope you can give it back when you're done, Yuto."
He nodded.
End of Flashback
Yuto came along with Yuma this morning to make sure the plan goes well and noticed Yuma getting impatient.
Yuto: "Calm down, Yuma she will show up."
Then suddenly they heard meow sounds and look to see that they are surrounded by cats.
Yuma: "What the heck, where did they come from?"
Yuto: "I don't know?"
Then Astral appears.
Astral: "What's that sound that makes my spine tingle?"
That got Yuma's attention.
Yuma: "You're afraid of cats?"
But it was short-lived by Yuto who glare at him making Yuma flinch.
Yuto: "Don't even think about it, Yuma."
Then he noticed a blue and white car with a ring on its tail holding an envelope with Tori's ribbon.
Yuto: "Wait isn't that Tori's ribbon?"
That got Yuma's attention, then Yuto grabbed the envelope and start reading it.
Yuto: "Oh no?!"
Yuma: "What is it?"
Yuto: "Tori has been kidnapped by someone who owns these cats and we go to that person's location if we want to save her."
That got Yuma surprised to hear that and before he could say something the same blue cat lead the way and both Yuma and Yuto followed the cat.
Unknown to Yuma, Yuto smiled at this.
Yuto: "All according to the plan."
Which Astral noticed and decided to ask him later.
Mini Timeskip
It took them a moment and they reach a mansion and they got in. They look inside the mansion to see some cat paintings and cat statues.
Yuma: "Ok that is a lot of cats."
Then they heard footsteps coming by the stairs and look to see Cathy in her regular clothing and with a black mask.
Cathy: "I was expecting you both Yuma and Yuto."
Yuma: "Who are you?"
Cathy: "I'm Cathy Katherine, but you can call me, Cat."
She smile as she remove her black mask, then Astral recognized her.
Astral: "I've seen her before."
That got Yuma's attention along with Yuto's.
Astral: "She's in the same class as both of you, but always alone on the sidelines."
Yuma: "So that's right your..."
Which got her attention along with Yuto.
Yuma: "Never seen you before."
Which made her look depressed and Yuto resisted the urge to hit Yuma in the head.
Yuto: "Come on, Yuma."
But he looks at Cathy.
Yuto: "What have you done with Tori, Cathy."
She looks at him.
Cathy: "Oh don't worry she is fine, for now."
That got him to act mad.
Yuto: "Let her go."
Cathy: "No can do, but if your brother Yuma beats me in a Duel I'll let her go."
That got them surprised at this, then Yuto look at Yuma.
Yuto: "You better win this, Yuma."
Yuma made a determined look.
Yuma: "Yeah don't worry, Yuto."
Then both of them prepare to Duel and then the AR Vision Link System activates.
AR - Vision Link established
Yuma and Cathy: "DUEL!!!"
Yuma Tsukumo LP: 4000
Cathy Katherine LP: 4000
They stand on the opposite side.
Cathy: "I'll take the first move and I draw."
She draws a card.
Cathy: "I start with a Spell Card: Inviting Cat."
She plays the Spell Card and glows.
Cathy: "With this Spell Card, I can add one Cat card or Stray Cat monster from my Deck to my hand and I add a Stray Cat."
She adds a monster card from her Deck to her hand.
Yuma: "So she starts off with a Spell Card."
Then she grabbed a card in her hand.
Cathy: "Next I play the Continous Spell Card: Cat Meeting."
Then the Continous Spell Card appears on her field.
Yuma: "A Continuos Spell."
Astral: "As long is on the field she can use it more than once depending on her strategy like Yuto's Phantom Knights Spear."
Yuto kept himself quiet and look everything according to plan.
Cathy: "Now I summon Stray Cat from my hand in Attack Position."
Stray Cat 1 (Atk 100/Def 300/Beast/Earth/LV 1)
Then her Continous Spell glows.
Cathy: "At this moment Cat Meeting activates, when I Normal Summon a cat monster, I can Special Summon one Level 3 or lower cat monster from my hand and I pick another Stray Cat in Attack Position."
Stray Cat 2 (Atk 100/Def 300/Beast/Earth/LV 1)
Yuma: "They're are completely harmless."
Yuto: "Foolish, Yuma."
Yuma: "It's my turn, Draw!"
He draws a card.
Yuma: "I summon Achacha Archer in Attack Position!"
Achacha Archer (Atk 1200/Def 600/Warrior/Fire/LV 3)
Yuma: "Now his effect activates, when he is Normal Summon you'll take five hundred points of damage."
Then Achacha Archer shot straight at her making a small explosion and damaging her life points.
Cathy Katherine LP: 4000 - 3500
Yuma: "I'm not down yet cause now Achacha Archer attack her Stray Cat."
But to his surprise, he couldn't attack any of them.
Yuma: "Wait? What's going on and why he isn't attacking?"
Yuto shook his head to see Yuma had not noticed that low Atk monster meaning have a good effect.
Cathy: "Forgot to mention that if a Stray Cat is in Attack Position you can't attack any other cat monsters except the Stray Cat itself."
That got him surprised.
Yuma: "You have two of them which means..."
Astral: "They protect each other meaning a loop between them."
That got Yuma to think of something and Yuto noticed that he is thinking of a plan.
Yuto: "You can do it, Yuma."
Then Yuma noticed a card in his hand.
Yuma: "I got it."
Then he grabbed a Spell Card.
Yuma: "I activate the Spell Card: Flip Flop! With it, I can change the Battle Position of a monster on the field and I pick the white one."
The Stray cat got inside the box and change its Battle Position which got Cathy surprised at this.
Yuma: "Now Achacha Archer attack the gray Stray Cat."
Then the Stray Cat turns to see its face as a monster and that's when Achacha Archer shoots its arrow at it making an explosion and destroying the Stray Cat also Cathy got damaged her life points.
Cathy Katherine LP: 3500 - 2400
Yuma: "alright!"
That got Yuto to smile to see Yuma do it on his own. Even Astral is surprised to see that he was about to tell him, but he decided to let Yuma do it on his own.
Yuma: "Alright with that I end my t-."
Cathy: "Hold it right there 'cause I activate the Quick Play Spell Card: Monster Cat Transformation."
Her facedown card flip and glows.
Cathy: "When a Stray Cat monster is destroyed by battle, I can Special Summon Monster Cat from my Deck, hand, or graveyard."
Monster Cat (Atk 0/Def 0/Beast/Dark/LV 1)
Yuma: "A zero Atk monster."
Cathy: "Furthermore when Monster Cat is Summoned all Leve 4 or lower monsters my opponent controls are destroyed."
That got him hit by the shock wave making him fall on the floor.
Yuma Tsukumo LP: 4000 - 3200
Cathy: "Hope you can continue now with no monster on your field."
Yuma gets up and grabs a card.
Yuma: "I'm not giving up, I place a card facedown and end my turn."
A facedown card materialized in front of his field.
Cathy: "My turn, Draw!"
She draws a card.
Cathy: "Now I activate Monster Cat's effect! Once per turn, I can add one Stray Cat from my Deck or graveyard."
Then she adds one Stray Cat from her graveyard.
Cathy: "Now I summon it to my field."
Stray Cat 1 (Atk 100/Def 300/Beast/Earth/LV 1)
That got both Yum and Astral to notice.
Astral: "Is she going to summon it."
Yuma: "A Number Card."
That got Yuto to sigh.
Yuto: "No, she isn't."
That got their attention.
Cathy: "Now I Overlay my Two Level 1 Stray Cat and one Monster Cat."
All three of her monster turn into energy orbs and fly through the sky.
Cathy: "With these three monsters, I can build the Overlay network."
The galaxy vortex appears in front of her and the three energy orbs went inside it making an explosion of energy.
Cathy: "Xyz Summon, Twin Tail Cat Lady!"
Twin Tail Cat Lady (Atk 1000/Def 1000/Beast-Warrior/Dark/Rank 1/OLU 3)
That got Yuma and Astral confused.
Yuma: "Wait, she doesn't have a Number Card?"
Yuto: "Nope, she doesn't."
Cathy: "Now I activate her effect! By using one Overlay Unit, once per turn, her Atk increased by eight hundred points."
Then the Overlay Unit went to the claws.
Twin Tail Cat Lady (Atk 1000 - 1800/Def 1000/Beast-Warrior/Dark/Rank 1/OLU 3 - 2)
Yuma got surprised.
Yuma: "And she has two more Overlay Units left so that would mean..."
Astral: "It can increase its Atk to sixteen hundred making it thirty-four hundred Atk."
Yuma glare at Astral.
Yuma: "I know that."
Yuto: "No, your not."
Then Yjma looks at Cathy with a smile.
Yuma: "Man you're an amazing Duelist."
She blushes to hear his comment.
Cathy: "Well I'm not done yet, I activate the Field Spell Card: Cat World."
She plays her Field Spell Card and everything turns into a place for cats.
Cathy: "With this card, all cat monsters I control original Atk are double as long this card is in play."
Twin Tail Cat Lady (Atk 1800 - 2800/Def 1000/Beast-Warrior/Dark/Rank 1/OLU 2)
That got Yuma a little nervous.
Yuma: "Oh boy."
Cathy: "Now Cat Lady attack him directly!"
She went to him for the attack and got him with her claws sending him flying and falling to the ground.
Yuma Tsukumo LP: 3200 - 400
Yuma stands up.
Yuma: "I was hoping you would do that, I activate the Trap Card: Pixie Gong! When I am dealt damage by a direct attack, I can Special Summon one pixie monster from my Deck in Attack Position and I Special Summon Joe the Pixie!"
Joe the Pixie (Atk 100/Def 300/Fairy/Light/LV 1)
Cathy: "How cute, let's see what you got I end my turn."
Yuma couldn't help, but get excited.
Yuma: "This is so much fun, your great."
Cathy: "Thanks, but it is not enough."
That got his attention.
Cathy: "I wish that one notice me, you see there is this boy that I like and I tried to get him to notice me, but he thinks I don't exist."
That made Yuma sad a little.
Yuma: "That guy is really a jerk."
Which made Yuto laugh a little being that he doesn't know that she is talking about him.
Cathy: "I want to tell him how I feel, but I get so shy."
Yuma: "Then go for it."
That got her attention.
Yuma: "You can't just hold back to tell him just take some courage and feel the flow and tell him."
Yuto smiled to see Yuma giving her courage. Meanwhile, Cathy couldn't help, but blush to see his determination and glance at Yuto who noticed her looking at her, he nod to give her the to go ahead and tell him.
So she takes a deep breath.
Cathy: "Thanks Yuma, I now can say it."
But before she could say it.
Yuma: "Alright it's my t-Ow!"
Before he could continue he got hit on his head by Yuto and Yuma glared at him.
Yuma: "What was that for. Yuto?!"
Yuto looks at him with a serious look which made Yuma flinch.
Yuto: "Before you continue, Yuma. She has something to say to you."
He looks at her and nodded, then she gave him a thankful nod and looks at Yuma.
Cathy: "Yuma your the boy that I like, so I like you."
That got Yuma surprised at this and blush a little. Meanwhile, Astral made a questionable look at what she said.
Yuma: "Really you like me?"
She nodded.
Yuto: "Ok you heard her what she said Yuma, so win this and tell her."
Cathy: "Yeah."
Yuma nodded.
Yuma: "My turn, Draw!"
He draws a card.
Yuma: "I Special Summon Acorno from my hand, by sending Pineconno from my hand to the graveyard."
Acorno (Atk 200/Def 400/Plant/Earth/LV 1)
Yuma: "I'm not done yet, I activate Pinecone from my graveyard since he was sent there by the effect of Acorno, I can Special Summon him."
Pinecono (Atk 400/Def 200/Plant/Earth/LV 1)
That got them to realize he has Three Level 1 monsters on his field.
Yuma: "Now I Overlay my Three Level 1 monsters."
They turn into energy orbs and fly through the sky.
Yuma: "With these three monsters, I build the Overlay network.
Then a galaxy vortex appears in front of him and the three energy orbs went inside of it making an explosion of energy.
Yuma: "Xyz Summon Baby Tiragon."
Baby Tiragon (Atk 900/Def 900/Dragon/Earth/Rank 1/OLU 3)
Yuma: "For my next move I Normal Summon Gagaga Magician from my hand in Attack Position."
Gagaga Magician (Atk 1500/Def 1000/Spellcaster/Dark/LV 4)
Yuma: "Now I activate Gagaga Magician's effect! Once per turn, I can change his Level from one to eight and I decided to make him Level 1."
Gagaga Magician (Atk 1500/Def 1000/Spellcaster/Dark/LV 4 - 1)
Yuma: "Now Baby Tiragon activate its effect! By using one Overlay Unit one Level 1 monster can attack you directly."
Baby Tiragon eats one Overlay unit.
Baby Tiragon (Atk 900/Def 900/Dragon/Earth/Rank 1/OLU 3 - 2)
Then it lands on Gagaga Magician's shoulder.
Yuma: "Now go Gagaga Magician attack her directly!"
He went for the attack and struck her damaging her life points.
Cathy Katherine LP: 2400 - 900
Yuma: "Now Baby Tiragon attack Cat Lady!"
That got surprised by his action.
Astral: "Yuma it doesn't have enough Atk?!"
Yuma: "Don't worry, I activate the Quick-Play Spell Card: Ego Boost! With this card, my Baby Tiragon gains one thousand Atk and your Cat Lady Atk returns to her original Atk."
Then both monsters are covered in the aura.
Twin Tail Cat Lady (Atk 2800 - 1000/Def 1000/Beast-Warrior/Dark/Rank 1/OLU 2)
Baby Tiragon (Atk 900 - 1900/Def 900/Dragon/Earth/Rank 1/OLU 2)
Yuma: "I'm feeling the flow! Go, Baby Tiragon, and end this!"
It went for the attack and destroyed Cat Lady sending Cathy flying which she lands on the ground.
Cathy Katherine LP: 900 - 0
Winner: Yuma Tsukumo
Then the AR Vision Link System deactivates and everything went back to normal.
Yuto smiles at Yuma cause he did it on his own without Astral helping him. Then he saw Yuma going towards her as he helps her up.
Yuma: "Umm, Cat listen, I can't accept your feelings because I don't know you much."
That made her sad.
Yuma: "But how about we get to know each other first and let's see what will it takes us, sound good?"
She smiles to hear that and nodded.
Cathy: "That would be fair."
Then Yuma noticed Yuto that he is walking away.
Yuma: "Hey, Yuto! Where are you going?!"
He stops and looks at Yuma to show him Tori's ribbon.
Yuto: Am going to return this to Tori."
That got him confused.
Yuma: "Wait isn't she kidnapped by her?"
He shook his head.
Yuto: "She's fine, Yuma. All of this was my idea for you to get to know Cathy."
That got Yuma surprised, then Yuto walks away while saying.
Yuto: "Cathy. I'm leaving my adopted Older Brother in your capable hands, I know that both of you will be happy."
She smiles at him.
Cathy: "You can count on me, Yuto."
Mini Timeskip
Yuto arrives at Tori's house and presses the doorbell. It took a moment and the door opened to reveal Tori.
Tori: "So did it work?"
He nodded.
Yuto: "It went well and they will be a good couple in the future."
She smiles to hear that, then he gave back her ribbon which she took it.
Tori: "Thanks for taking care of it."
He smiles at her.
Yuto: "No worries also you look cute in it."
That made her blush to hear that, then he walks away.
Yuto: "See ya, Tori, and good night."
She said to him goodbye to him and close the door, then she stood there for a moment and smile while blushing.
Tori: "If only I could feel you how I really feel for you, Yuto."
Then she went back to her room.
