New day.. new energies.. Yesterday karan realised his feelings for monami.. He is determined to win her heart..And here starts the different trials to impress Monami..
Karan cooked delicious pancakes and made coffee for Monami in the morning for breakfast. He decorated the tray and went to Monami's room. He opened the door of her room and found her sleeping, hugging a pillow. Karan smiled at her, kept the tray on the side table, sat on the bed and gently ruffled her hair to wake her up.
K: Monu.. monu.. utho.
Mo: (sleepy) 5 min sone do na karan.. baad me uthjaaungi..
K: Arre baba abhi utho.. dekho me tumhare liye breakfast me kya laaya hoon.
Mo: Jo laaye ho wahi rakhdo.. me uthke khaa lungi..
K: Kya yaar monami.. me itne pyaar se kuchh banake laaya hoon.. utho yaar.. plzz
Mo: Tum banake laaye ho?
K: hmm hmm
Mo: Tab to me uthne se rahi..
K: Monuuuuu!!!! Yaar utho plzz.. plzz plzz plzzz plzz plzzz
After so many trials monami had to wake up, halfheartedly. Her eyes went wide after seeing the breakfast tray.. Pancakes and Coffee! her favorite! And the cherry on the top - her khadoos shergil made the breakfast for her!
Mo: (excitedly) PANCAKES!!! MERE LIYE??
K: Nahi.. padosan ke liye..
Mo: To uske liye dusra bana dena.. yeh me khaa rahi..
K: (snatching the plate) Pehle fresh hoke aao..
Mo: Karan khaane do na.. khaake fresh hone jaaungi..
K: Tum patients ke marne k baad unka ilaaj shuru karti ho kya?
Mo: hein?? kuchh bhi??
K: kuch bhi nahi.. kya ulta kaam karne bolrahi ho.. jaao jaldi fresh hoke aao.. phir khaana..
Monami made a cute and angry pout and rushed to the washroom. She freshened up very quickly and rushed back to enjoy her pancakes. She was eating like a kiddo! Enjoying each and every bite of the pancake, dipped in maple syrup and icing sugar sprinkled on top. Karan was observing each and every move of her.. The way she found her happiness in even little moments. The way she never hesitates to show her childish nature to him..
Mo: DELICIOUS!!! i love this Karan.. thank you so much.. waise aaj achanak se mere liye cooking.. kyun?
K: Umm.. wo.. me.. wo subhe apne liye coffee banane ka socha.. to coffee banate banate tumhare liye pancakes bhi bana diya!!
MO: You are the best Karan!! Pata hai mujhe bohut dino se man karraha tha yeh khaane ka.. par kabhi banane ka time nahi hua..
K: Arre to mujhe boldeti.. me banadeta..
MO: jab tum mere bina bole hi sab wish pura kardete ho.. to bolne ki kya zaroorat.. waise. tumne khaaya ya nahi?
K: Umm.. nahi.. i mean... me khaa lunga baad me.. abhi tum khaao..
Mo: Arre aise kaise.. yeh lo (She passed a bite to him)
Karan looked at her and then at the pancakes. Monami fed him the pancakes from the same fork. Both finished the breakfast by talking and feeding each other! They even shared the coffee from the same cup.. Monami saw some maple syrup near Karan's lips. She wiped it with her thumb, not knowing what effect it had on Karan..
Here karan felt butterflies in his stomach... Unknowingly his cheeks became the deepest shade of red. Monami had picked the tray and went downstairs to put it in the sink.. But Karan was completely unaware of his surrounding.. He was lost in monami's touch.. He tried to control his blush in which he failed miserably..
Mo: karan.. karan... karan...KHADOOS SHERGIL
K: haan haan.. kya hua.. chilla kyun rahi
Mo: Kya kyun chilla rahi... kabse bularahi tumhein..kahan kho ke bethe ho
K: (in mind: tum me) kahin nahi..
Mo: ajeeb.. achha neeche chalo bhaiya bularahe.. kuchh zaroori baat karni hai.
K: Han pata hai (absent mindly)
Mo: KYA? (suspiciously)
K: wo.. i mean.. kuchh nahi.. chalo neeche..
Saying so, he rushed downstairs.. Monami stood their confused thinking "Iss bande ko aaj hua kya hai"
Monami shrugged her shoulders and went downstairs. Param was sitting on the couch reading the newspaper, upside down! Karan had taken his seat beside Param, shaking his legs continuously. Barkha was looking here and there as if she didn't know where she was. Baby was the only one behaving normal.. she was sitting at the dining table.. enjoying her chocolate milk, paying no heed to whatsoever is happening... Monami was more shocked to see Shivam, that too this early in the morning..
Mo: (in mind) Yeh karan ne coffee me kuchh mila diya tha kya.. yeh sab itna ajeeb ajeeb se kyun dikhrahe mujhe.. bhaiya ulta newspaper padhrahe.. bhabhi nervous lagrahi.. shivam... yeh kab aaya.. aur itna shaant kyun betha hai.. aur karan restless hai.. nahi excited hai.. nahi... bohut jaldi me hai.. aarggghhhh pata nahi kya hai ?
K: Arre monami.. idhar aao naa.. jaldi
Param looked at him as if shooting daggers through the eyes! Monami came and sat on the other couch, beside Karan... She looked at Param, then karan, then barkha.. then shivam, then baby and then again at param..
Mo: Koi batayega yahan subhe subhe mandali kyun kholrakhi hai??
K: Haanna.. exactly.. bolo bhaiyaaa.. mandali kyun khol rakhi hai..
P: hn.. me? me kyun?
mo: Kyunki aapne hi bulaya hai na?
P: haan.. haan mene bulaya to hai..
Karan pinched Param.
P: aaa..
Barkha: Kya hua?
P: chiti kanti
B: Kya
P: chinti kaati.
B: ohh.. to theek..
Monami was like "yeh sabko ho kya gaya hai"
K: Bhaiyaa bolo na..
P: Me?? nahi.. barkha.. tum bolo..
B: me kya bolun.. mujhe nahi maalum kuchh..
P: Han to.. to.. karan bol (karan stares) aah. nahi. tu nahi. shivam.. han shivam bol
S: Bhaiya me? Karan haii na.. karan bol
K: me kyun?? bhaiya bolenge
P: shivam
S: Karan
K: bhaiya
MO: ENOUGH! SAB CHUP! KYA KABSE YEH BHAIYA SHIVAM KARAN BHAIYA SHIVAM KARAN LAGA RAKHA HAI.. BHAIYA AAPNE BULAYA THA NA.. TO AAP BATAIYE KYA BAAT HAI...
K: (murmuring) mene to pehle hi kaha tha bhaiyaa bolo..
Mo: (staring with anger at karan) AND BEECH ME KOI KUCHH NAHI BOLEGA
Karan immediately kept his finger on his lips and nodded like a small child...
P: Monami wo.. baat yeh hai ki..
Mo: KI??
P: wo ki...me..wo.. me tumhari aur shivam ki shaadi tod raha hoon?
Mo: Achha.. (realises) KYAA? par kyun? (in mind: yeh achanak se kaisa plot twist le aaye bhaiya.. apne hi plan me twist)
P: Wo.. wo... kyunki...(looks at karan)
K: (in mind: inse kuchh nahi hoga) kyunki shivam ki already ek gf hai..
Mo: tumhein kaise pata?
K: mene unhein saath dekha hai..
Mo: kab?
K: Aaj subhe
Mo: abhi dopahar hai kya?
K: Madam.. mera mtlb aaj subhe jab exercise karraha tha garden me.. tab dekha..
Mo: achha.. to kaun hai iski gf? aur tumhein kaise pata?
K: Nisha.. nisha batra.. meri junior.. aaj subhe mene shivam ko uske saath dekha.. aur unki baatein bhi suni.. aur shivam ko range haath pakada bhi.. puchho iss shivam se..
Mo: (shocked) (in mind: iss ladke ko kya zaroorat thi aise khulle me nisha se milne ki.. saari planning kharab hogayi) (glaring at shivam)
(Ab monu ko kya maalum ki karan ne bandhook ki nok par shivam ko bhi apne side le liya hai)
S: (in mind) Yeh kidhar phas gaya me.. abhi monu ki daant sunu ya karan ko monu se pyaar hogaya iss baat ki khushi manaun?)
Flashback
Karan called Shivam at morning 4am.
S: (yawning) hello kaun?
K: Karan shergil
S: aur me barack obama.. sone do subhe subhe majak nahi..
K: DR.SHIVAM RAY ZARA APNA PHONE DEKHIYE..
Shivam got startled and his sleep was gone...
S: Ka..karan.. tum..itne subhe subhe... kya baat hai..
K: agle 1 ghante ke ander mere ghar ke paas wale garden me mil.. ek sec bhi late nahi hona chahiye... samjha?
S: copy that!
Shivam reached the garden before time and was shocked to see karan and nisha there.. Shivam raised is eyebrows asking nisha "kya chalraha hai". Nisha shrugged her shoulders in response as she herself didnt know anything..
K: Ekdusre ko ghurne se answers nahi milega.. me jitna bolraha hoon bas utna suno and help karo..
He then said them everything.. His love for monami.. why he wasnt happy with the alliance of shivam and monami.. He wanted shivam and nisha to act like a couple (little did he know they were already booked by eo)..
and the whole gang which was on monami's side now shifted to Karan's..
flashback ends
Mo: (in mind) (glaring at shivam) Nisha se milna hi tha to garden hi mila tha kya?
S: (in mind) Mujhe thodi idea hoga ki karan subhe subhe wahi garden jaata hai..
Mo: (in mind) Aur yeh jo raita phel gaya ab.. uska kya karein?
S: (in mind) dont worry monu.. sab theek hi hoga.. koi aur plan bana denge.. abh finally mujhe nisha se chhup chhup ke nahi milna hoga..
Mo: (in mind) SHIVAM RAY.. YOU ARE UNBELIEVABLE..
K: MONU??
MO: Hann haan.. kya huaa.
K: kabse bularaha tumhein.. kya sochrahi ho..
Mo: Nahi.. kuvhh nahi... umm.. shivam.. all the very best for ur future.. i hope tum aur nisha hamesha khush raho... (with a smile) umm.. me apne room me hoon..
She left to her room.. But with her dispersal aroused many doubts in karan's mind. He too left to his room without a word.. Many thoughts tangled in his mind.. And the answer to all his questions was : MONAMI!
