You show up,
Unannounced and unwanted.
I don't want you here.
I wish you would go away.
Your attacks are premeditated and vicious.
I seek solace away from others,
and you sink your teeth into me.
I shake and my breaths stop coming.
I begin to cry and my mind keeps running.
People attempt to calm me down,
Peer pressure makes it all drown.
I can't stand feeling like a spectacle,
Another symptom of you I assume.
I wish you would leave me
To be on my own.

In a dark, damp, dungeon,
Far under the earth.
