Alex POV
Jay must of carried me into my room last night since when I woke up I was in my bed with Jay beside me spooning me
I tried moving myself out of his arms but he had a death grip on my waist
'Jay let me go I have to pee' I said trying again making him only tightened his grip
'No am comfy' he grumbled out pulling me towards him
'Jay I will literally pee on you if you don't let me go' I warned him Making him let me go since he would know I would do it
I rushed to the bathroom and did my business and brushing me teeth before making my way back into the bedroom where Jay was sitting on him phone texting someone
'hey' he said putting his phone down and putting his attention on me
'Hi' I mumbled pulling out clothes for the day what was a pair of jeans and a random vest top.
'Am going out for a bit so I will pick you up for a few hours' he said walking towards me and kissing my cheeks and leaving the room
Okay then....
I put my oxygen tank on my back and walked downstairs into the kitchen ignoring my mum, Jake and Luke who were on the couch and made my way into the kitchen
I made a cup of tea and sat at the kitchen table putting in my earphones listening to All time low and stared at my cup.
'Alex' Jake shouted pulling my earphone out of my ear
'What do you want Jacob' I said looking at him
He glared at me for calling him Jacob and sat in front of me
'You know that Jay really liked you..'
'I know this' I snapped but instantly regreating it
'Sorry' I muttered under my breath
'Anyway want to come to a party next week with me,Jay and Luke you don't have to bring your wheelchair or your oxygen tank we will put it in your bag' he begged trying to give me the puppy dog look
'fine but am not driving us back' I said sterly before leaving the room
I sat on the couch and Linda pulled me closer next to her wrapping her arms around me
'Hey Alex how it go your family yesterday' she asked
'Shit we ended up in a screaming match and they wanted me to forgive them and I said no there not my family anymore' I answered watching the TV with Doctor Who
'I'm proud of you baby boy and I heard your going on a date later with Jay nice boy he is if he breaks your heart let me know and i stick my foot so far up his ass he can taste it' she said making me laugh that then turned into coughing fit so she ended up hitting my back to get my breath back
'Love you too mum' I said when I manged to breath again turning are attention back to the TV
After about 4 episodes I went back to my room to grab my phone charger and went back downstairs
'Alex your phone going off' she shouted when I was at the top of the stairs
'Answer it am not going to get there in time' I shouted before making my way downstairs as fast as my back would let me
'Yes he coming he just coming down the stairs'
'You better not hurt him mister or my foot will go so far up your....'
'Okay mum that enough for you pass me my phone please' I asked interrupting the rest of her sentence and taking the phone out of her hand
'Hello' I said walking away from my mum and made my way into the kitchen where Jake and Luke are no where to be seen
'Hey meet me outside in 10 minutes for our date' Jay voiced rang though the phone
'Ok jay see you soon' I answered before hanging up and grabbing my bag
'Are you taking your wheelchair' Linda asked seeing me grabbing my bag
'No am leaving it here' I said really not wanting to have to have a wheelchair and my nose cannula aswell
'Alex you need to use it your just making yourself worst' she argued back making me get annoyed
'Well I don't want to fucking use it Linda okay your not my fucking mother so stop telling me what to do' I snapped
i ignored the hurt in her eyes when i didnt call her mom but i carried on walking out the house and down the driveway waiting for Jay to show up
'Alex get back here' she shouted from the door just as Jay pulled up
I opened the door and hopped in the car shutting the door behind me ignoring her
'What's going on?' He asked seeing Linda by the door
Just drive Jay I tell you later' I told him Making him drive to where see wherever he taken us
For our date
Alex POV
'Where are we going?' I asked for the billion time in the car journey but he just kept ignoring me
'A surprise' he said finally talking to me but keeping his eyes on the road
'How long left then? I asked getting uncomfotable sitting in the seat for to long
'About an hour' he said looking at m
'What happened with you and Linda?' He asked changing the subject
'I snapped at her and didn't call her mum but Linda' I said looking away from him and resting my head on the window
He grabbed my hand making me look at him 'why don't you go to sleep?' He said seeing the bags under my eyes and I was prataclly falling asleep on him
I nodded my head and closed my eyes
*flashback*
'Come on Alexander live a little' Max shouted out of the car window as I stood in the driveway of the party we were at
'I swear to god if you kill me Max am going to haunt you for the rest of you life' I laughed as I got into the car that he had stolen from his parents but i didnt care at that point
'Come at me bro' he laughed at his drunken state
'Where we going?' I asked as he drove into the highway
'On a adventure young skywalker' he slurred as he let go of the wheel
'Hands on the wheel' I shouted as we went into the other lane driving the opposite way
A truck was speeding out way as Max tried getting the car in the other side in the lanes
'Shit' he scremed as the car lost control and the truck crashed into the side of the car flipping us over and down a hill
My body was flying everywhere and at somepoint I blanked out hitting my head of the window
I woke up and my body was in extreme pain and I was really hard to catch my breath
'Alex' Max whispered groning as he tried to talk and move but he was stuck
'Max I can't reach you something stuck in my back and I can't move' I whispered out trying to move again what resulted in pain shooting up my back making me wince in pain
Sirens were heard in the distence just as Max started closing his eyes and his breathing stopped
'Max don't you fucking dare leave me stay awake' I shouted trying to move what resulted in me screaming In pain from the glass in my back and across my body
'Max fucking wake up please you can't leave me here by myself I need you' I whispered as darkness consumed my vision and people running down the hill calling out for us
*flashback ended*
'Alex wake up' a voice shouted waking me from the nightmare
I gasp for breath and opened my eyes seeing Jay grabbing my arms shaking me awake and relief washed though him 'What happened?
'Doesn't matter' I said putting on a fake smile 'how long left?'
'I ask you later and where here' Jay said getting out the car in which i followed
'Where are we?' I asked looking around seeing only the road that we were on and nothing around us
'Jump on my back and close your eyes' he instructed so I chucked my oxygen tank on my back before i got on his back
I closed my eyes and Jays walked for what seemed like days but actually was about 10 minutes untill Jay stopped
'Okay open them' he whispered making me lift my head up and seen that we were at the fair
'Very cliche' I said getting off his back and grabbing his hand
'Come on lets go' he said pulling me behind him
We Went on all the different rides and he tried winning me a big teddy what failed and left me in stitches casue he was pouting to him self and pretended to cry like a toddler
Finally we were at the last ride the big wheel
We got on our own private pod and he pulled me closer to his body wrapping his arms around my waist as I stared at the city and woods beside her
'Alex' he whispered making shivers run up my spine as he spoke
'Mmm....'
'Would you be my boyfriend? He asked turning me around to face him
'Of course' I answered and a smile crept up on my face and he leaned in and kissed me
Sparks were flying and we ended up having a full make out session in the pod and we grabbed each other pulling us closer
I pulled away since i need to brethe and rested my head against his closing my eyes enjoying the feeling of being here with him
'Let's go babe' he spoke as we reached the bottem giving me a quick peck on the lips and pulling me out of the pod behind him
We left the fair and started walking back to the car. My legs were in killing me by this point and I felt like I was going to pass out.
I slowed my walk down and Jay must of noticed me in pain since he picked me up bridal style and carried me back towards the car
I rested my head on his chest grabbing his shirt to help ease the pain as it was increasing.
'Am going to lay you down on the backseat and see if that helps the pain' he spoke noticing my discomfort opening the car door and laying me on the seat.
'Jay please don't tell anyone about this' I begged not wanting to be seen weak in front of them
'Only if you tell me about your nightmare' he answered after about 5 minutes of silence
'You know how I said I was in a car accident around the time I left....' i started
He nodded his head for me to continue
'I lost a really close friend called Max who was drunk driving at the time. We were both drunk and a truck hit us down a hill. I couldn't save him cause of my back and he died at the scene and because my ribs were already broken because of my father that introduced the whole medical problems came in because my lungs collapsed and my spinal coards messed up'
A few tears rolled down my face and I looked at Jay who had no emotion on his face
'I love you Alexander and I hope you remember that. If you ever have another nightmare just give me a call and I will come round' he spoke reaching his hand behind him to grab mine gently giving my a small smile in the mirror
'I miss him... the only memory I have of him is the tattoo in my back when we want to get it together. He was my first friend over there before I met Luke and Jake' i whispered as he started the car
'It okay to miss him' he reasurred me but I wasn't helping the guilt eating me alive
'I know but I feel like it is my fault that he died since I could of stopped him from driving' I whispered quietly not knowing of he heard me
'It not your fault it was a total accident' he answered as I closed my eyes falling asleep again in the car
