Rang your alarm, as you forcefully tried to turn it off. Today was the BIG day....
Well..... not really, it was just day 1 of being off from college for weeks, yeah 3 WEEKS!
20 Minutes later, you've already brushed your teeth and done your morning routine, still getting ready for a shower.
25 minutes later
You have now come out of the shower and got dressed up all pretty as you and your friends had planned a day out together.

You guys ended up deciding that after shopping at the mall, you would end the day at a small café that had just opened up.
After you guys' food had arrived you and your friends started eating while Maddie, one of your friends, was telling you guys about her new boyfriend, your friends immediately swooning over them. suddenly a strong scent of a floral men's perfume whiffed past your nose
"mmm" you hummed as you inhaled and exhaled, taking in the scent.
"Voleur De Roses.." You said, recognizing the scent "Classical, never gets old"
You look up only to see your friends' mouths wide agape, staring at a specific someone who was behind you.
"It's him" whispered Avery
"It can't be" you whispered back in denial, your eyes refusing to believe what you're currently seeing.
there, dressed in simple buttoned down twice summer shirt, jeans and high top converses, stood the person you wouldn't expect to see in a million years
"babes, it's him!" squealed Kennedy
He locks his eyes on yours as he walks past, almost bumping into a barista who was heading to the bar section with empty shot and wine glasses
After paying for his meal at the counter he starts heading back to his table, where 2 of his friends were seated. Seeing you eyes still on him, he starts heading to your table.
"Hey, this might sound weird and all...Do I know You?" He said
"Well...uhh..i-i you see....Can I speak to you privetly please?"
"sure, why not?" He said
As you guys head to the corner of the café, you hear your friends squealing and mentally facepalmed.

as you and him reach you destination, which was only about 13ft away from your table, you hear him say,
"so uhh do I know you?" He mentioned again.
"the real question is do you remember me?" you said as you pulled out you wallet and showed him a picture you have kept for a little over 4 years.
"wait..no way, you still have this?!" he chuckled as took a look at picture of him, you, Kennedy and Kennedy's bf during 11th grade summer break
"don't you have yours?" you asked him as you laughed along with him, while taking a seat with him.
"well..no, i recently got involved in a car accident and lost my wallet, but that picture wasn't as important as the one i thankfully I managed to keep" he said pulling out a small photo of me in 2nd Grade
"why this one??!!!" you whined to him, as he laughed at you
"why, what's wrong with this one? I think it's cute"
"But i don't, i don't like it, right before it was my turn for a picture, Mr. Ross [made up] shouted at me, and i don't like that." you said still laughing with him
"anyways, enough with the pictures, what brings you here?" you asked him
"why are you asking? do you not want me here" he says sarcastically
"Just so you know your sarcasm still annoys me y'know"
"I'm Kidding, I actually transferred colleges 'cause i realized I missed my hometown, and being 6 hours away didn't help at all so here I am"
"that's so YOU of you" you exclaimed before saying "anyway. where's your girlfriend?"
"girlfriend? what are you talking about?" he asked being confused
"nevermind" you say, avoiding eye contact with him
"Y/N you didn't think i'd move on did you?"
"tbh i did, i always thought that whatever we had was too good to be true and that you didn't like me anymore so-"
"that's just being stupid Y/N, what did i tell you the night before i left?" he asked
'you said you'd comeback no matter what circumstances were" you said lowly, being shy
"aren't I here now?" He questions again
"you are" you answer
"am I with a girl?"
you shake your head
"so then why are you worried darling?"

your tummy start doing summersaults
"there's nothing to be worried about ok?" he says
"OK" you answer
" shoot i'll have to go now" he says, looking at his watch
"wait, we haven't exchanged numbers yet" you say
"don't you have my number?" he questions
"new phone" you answered back as you waved your phone to him
a month later Him and you re back together, like you were before he left.
