Liz POV
I have been resting in my castle for a while but I always watch how things going from outside and I have to make sure that the peace y/n gave us will keep going. I have seen his face, I have heard his soft voice, I can't get it out of my head.
I wanted to see the hero once more, I wanted to show to him that the peace he was wishing for have been applied. Everyday, I always look at the sky and his monument wondering if he has been watching over us, it's been 250 years since he saved me from death.
"Y/n... I wonder how are you doing right now" I mumbled while staring outside the window
As night comes, I decided to go to bed and sleep. I felt a hand caresses my hair and cheeks making my eyes fluttered open then I saw him, Y/n the Hero whom everyone looked up to.
"Y/n...?" I spoke weakly
He was surprised as he started to stand up but I hold his wrist pulling him and I sat up.
"Y/n please.... Don't go..."
"Liz... Sorry I woke you up"
"No this is great.... I have wanted to see you again..." I said
"I see... I am very thankful to you for keeping the peace of this place. I am indebted to you" He said
"No, we are the one who were indebted to you, you gave us hope and provided us everything we need and all we have to do is to keep it going. I am simply paying the debt we have to you." I said
"I am still grateful to you for making this place what it should be. I..." he said
"Can I see your face once more?" I asked
He removed his hood and mask and there it was, the face that I wanted to see once more. I smiled and can't help myself from leaning a kiss on his lips.
Third Person POV
You kissed her back and everything became passionate and then someone knocked on the door making you both pull away and you swiftly hid at the dark corner. Liz walk towards the door and open it slightly, she saw the female fox like her who's named Wonyoung.
"How may I help you?" Liz asked
"Hope I'm not bothering you or anything Your majesty" Wonyoung said
"Oh not at all! So how can I help?" Liz asked
"I have received a message from the king of empire and he wanted you to read this scroll that was written by the one and only king Soobin" Wonyoung said
"Oh I see.... Thank you very much, I'll read it later" Liz said
"No Your majesty, the due of that scroll is tomorrow so if you have time forgive me for intruding your privacy but the king said that it is important" Wonyoung said
"Oh I see please come in" Liz said
Wonyoung came in and then everything went upside down. You were about to jump out on the window when Wonyoung saw you making you froze at your spot so as Liz.
"I-In-"
Wonyoung could not speak but when you turn your gaze at her. Wonyoung eyes widened recognizing your appearance.
"He-Hero-" Liz covered her mouth
"Please don't shout" Liz said
Wonyoung nodded and Liz let go of her. Wonyoung walk towards you and kneeled which surprised you and Liz didn't stop her and smile.
"Our hero..." Wonyoung spoke
"Um...." you said
"Please forgive my reckless actions! I didn't mean to endanger your safety" Wonyoung said
"Oh no it's fine.... It's not fatal anyway. Stand up now young one" You said
"I can't" Wonyoung said
"It's okay, I really dont mind" You said
Wonyoung didn't budge. You recognize her out most respect on you which made you happy and you signed Liz to let Wonyoung up.
"It's okay Wonyoung, you can get up now" Liz said
"But your majesty..." Wonyoung said
"It's okay" Liz said
Wonyoung stood up and you sat on the chair.
"Go ahead don't mind me, I'm just visiting my beloved queen" you said
Wonyoung eyes widened and look at Liz and Liz just smiled sheepishly and laugh a little.
"Your......" Wonyoung said
"Well... Yeah...." Liz said blushing
"I didn't know your that you are highly connected to the hero!" Wonyoung whispered
"Well now you know" Liz said
"I see... Well let's proceed on our meeting." Wonyoung said
"Sure thing"
Liz read the scroll and Wonyoung watches her as she finished it.
"So King Soobin is inviting me on a event that holds all noble blood who strive for peace and equality and everyone who wanted to come were invited am I right?" Liz said
"Yes that what was written" Wonyoung said
"Do you have any clue on what other motives of King Soobin? He wouldn't just invite everyone for a just a huge toast" Liz said
"I think...." Wonyoung looked at you who's reading a book "King Soobin must be planning.... On asking for your hand in marriage"
Liz eyes widened as you close the book and a lightning hit the ground with a loud thunder storms echoed at the sky surprising the two girls
"I'm sorry...." Wonyoung said
"What makes you say that?" Liz asked
"Well..." Wonyoung were scared "I was with them on the meeting about creating the scroll and planning on the event and I have heard from the kings own mouth that he had been watching for a long time and...." Wonyoung shriek hearing another thunderstorm
"Keep going..." Liz said
"He had fallen for your kindness and beauty and he wanted to be your husband and he will watch and take care of you and he will make sure your future will be bright and beautiful just like you...." Wonyoung freak out hearing another loud thunder storms and lightning
"My dearest king don't scare her!" Liz glare at you
"I'm not" You said and the sky went clear
"It's okay Eonnie he is not mad at you" Liz said
"I'm sorry...." Wonyoung said
"So what time will the event start?" you spoke
Liz look at you surprised
"Night..." Wonyoung said
"Okay..." you said
"What are you planning?" Liz asked
"Well just a simple trick" You said
"That's all Your majesty... I'll take my leave" Wonyoung said and stood up
"Okay, take care" Liz said
"Goodbye Your majesty, Goodbye our hero" Wonyoung said
"Goodbye" you said
Wonyoung left and Liz close the door and lock it then she walk towards you.
"Your gonna attend the event?" you asked
"Well that's my job, I told them that I will come whenever there's a event or a problem, I told them that" Liz said
"Your gonna marry the king?" You wrapped your arms around her waist and stare at her eyes
Liz smile and stare at your eyes then she remove your mask. She stare at your purple glowing eyes with a small sparks appearing in thin air.
"Now now, don't be mad" Liz said
"How can I not get angry? So your going to marry him? You want to be with him?" you said
Liz didn't speak
".....I see....." you let go of her "Sorry for bothering you this late at night. I'll shall take my leave." you look down and back away
"My hero..." Liz said
"Goodbye" you turned into small spark and disappeared
Liz sighs "You didn't even let me finish. How cruel of you my dearest hero but.... I can't change the fact that I wanted to be with you so badly"
"But I know.... You'll come back to see me again for I knew.... We have the same feelings for each other. I just need to wait for you to come back and once you did...."
