A new day had come, I was skipping school so me and beth could check on felix
Turned out he had gotten shot and was now in the hospital. He was awake , just in an awful amount of pain.
" you guys should go" he winced as he sat up " you need to go buy y/n an umbrella academy inspired outfit for the party. Plus auntie is coming . And yall dont wanna be here for that"
" are you sure?" Asked Beth
" positive " he smiled " now fly my little birdies , find my bestie a dress to absolutely slay in"

The two of us walked out of the hospital and into town . Where we made our way to the most expensive clothing shop in the entire place

After a while of trying on dresses we found nothing that matched the shows aesthetic at all. I had an idea of what I wanted . Just no way of finding it
" you ladies looking for something specific?" A woman asked , she sounded like she was from texas for sure " holding shit-- you're y/n Thompson "

" I've got the perfect thing! Be right back " she scurried away, leaving me and Beth waiting
Beth was clearly concerned for her brother , he was the maknea of out group as she liked to call him. He was younger than her by a few seconds but and I was older than the both of them. They still sometimes call me noonie or unnie.
The woman came back with a group of people carrying a mannequin with a stunning burgandy dress on it
They placed it down infront of me.
" based off of the burgandy dress" I nodded " I like it , what about shoes?"
She handed me a box , I opened it . And ...oh my god...

" If the converse dont match it's fine, we have a whole selection of other shoes" she said

We took a few selfies then she handed me their umbrella academy comics , I sighed them in a dark red pen
" thank you" she smiled " your dress is packed and ready to go, hope you have a wonderful time "
We thanked her and walked out , we needed to go jewelry and makeup shopping, nothing to extreme. Some blush and white eyeliner. Maybe some red lipstick

Me and beth were at home , she told me to show her the finnished look so she could see it all in person
The dress fit like a dream. Same with the shoes .
I had done my makeup like this

And walked out of my bathroom into my bedroom
