I immediately start preping for the incoming wave 2 by laying webs on the wall again.
Among the reinforcement are three of those bigger monkeys with crocodile mouths.
Must be the evolved form of the lesser monkeys based on the name similarity.
Not that I can read this world's language properly.
Terrifying, the lesser monkeys are bad enough, these guys are probably way stronger.
The lesser monkeys are climbing the wall again from the far right and left to avoid my webs.
On the bright side, they have stopped throwing rocks at me for some reason.
Maybe they are too far away to do so with the giant pile of web and monkeys directly below me?
Whatever, I am more worried about the evolved monkeys anyway.
I know how to deal with the lesser monkeys by now, but the evolved ones aren't doing anything?
Why? Are they up to something?
Sure enough, one of them lifts up a huge boulder and hurls it at me!? Nai wa!
I manage to evacuate in time, but my nest, my high ground, is destroyed.
At least I don't see anymore boulders nearby for the evolved monkeys to use.
But still, if they are strong enough to do this, can my thread even restrain them?!
I look around again, it will take some time before the lesser monkeys reach me.
I have time to make a simple foothold to use, and no more cannonballs to worry about.
So I rush to make that foothold, which doubles as a trap should a monkey reach me.
There, done! I am ready to go again!
Looks like the lesser monkeys are now more deliberate with how they get stuck on the web.
Before, it was just an accident, but now they are intentionally creating a path for the others to use.
That said, I can just cover the monkeys in webs to destroy the path.
And since no more reinforcements are showing up now, the longer they try to keep this up, the thinner their numbers get.
The lesser monkeys are practically a non-issue by this point, which leaves...

One of the evolved monkeys backs up and prepares to run in my direction.
Wait! Don't tell me you are gonna make a running jump up to get here?!
I ready my Casting Net and sure enough, the evolved monkey jumped all the way up here.
Thankfully, it doesn't have anything to control its movement midair, so it can't dodge my Casting Net.
It ends up crashing just below my foothold and immediately tries to escape.
Like I feared, these guys can tear through my threads, not immediately but still.
I better kill it while I still can!
I drop a ball of [Spider Venom] into its mouth.
It screams at the pain, but it doesn't die!?
Another one then!
This time, it finally dies and I levelled up to LV8.
Perfect! The MP, SP and EP refill will help me deal with the other two.
By the time I am done with my victim, I notice another evolved monkey making its way up here.
Instead of jumping, it's using the path the lesser monkeys created.
The sheer speed and force behind it destroys the path the monkeys sacrificed themselves to create, and by destroy, I mean the lesser monkeys are torn apart, the blood and gore gushing out everywhere.
Gross and heartless, but that means less work for me.
I launch another Casting Net at it, it dodges but right into my webbing on the wall.
I cover it in more thread before it can escape, it's too far away, I will deal with it later.
Now where is the third one?
I look around and see it almost immediately, it's leaping straight at me from my right!?
I try to jump out of the way, but it's too late.
All my right legs and part of my adamant are destroyed in a single bite.
Gasp! It hurt so much! I can't do this anymore...
And so, out of resolve, I fall to my doom while blacking out...
I guess this is it...
No! I will die if I do! Nai wa!
I launch another thread to grab the wall, and swing myself into the wall.
It hurts...it hurts...but not yet, damn it!
I look up, the evolved monkey destroyed my foothold but is now trapped in it.
I use my thread to pull myself up, and ready three balls of [Spider Venom].
"Eat these! You bastard! Die!"
While I manage to shove the Poison into its mouth, I forget to watch my footing, or lack thereof.
So I fall down again, my strength actually leaving me this time.
I am done for...
Divine Voice: "Experience has reached the required level.
Individual Small ???????? has increased from LV8 to LV9..."
There is more to the Divine Voice's announcement, but I decide to ignore it like I have been ignoring it the entire fight to better focus.
I heal just in time to stop my fall with thread.
I quickly make my way back up the wall.
The last evolved monkey is close to escaping, but that problem is easily solved by adding more thread.
It's still too far away for me to finish it off with my Poison and there are still lesser monkeys to deal with down there.
Hang on, there is nothing stopping me from escaping myself at this point.
But no, simple as it was, you bastards destroyed my home!
As if I will let you get away with it! Nai wa!
And so, without much trouble, I webbed down every last one of the lesser monkeys and killed the last evolved monkey.
I look around again, no more reinforcement.
Well, in that case, time to finish off the survivors.
I walk up to the nearest monkey, it screams at me in both anger and fear.
...Fear? Fear?!
"Ex-fucking-cuse me?!
You sons of bitches started this! And now you are scared to die?!
Do you have any idea what it feels like to be outnumbered and outclassed by enemies that don't care about dying?!
Do you know how violating it feels to be crushed by that many hands?!
And now you're showing emotions other than unrelenting rage towards me?!
You have the audacity to want to live after what you did to me?!
And what about avenging your pack members?!
Weren't you willing to throw your life away for that?!
What happened to your resolve?!
That I can at least respect even though I was going to kill you anyway!

I think I just got a new Skill, but I don't care.
All I care about is killing all these pathetic pieces of shit, slowly and painfully with Poison.
Divine Voice: "Condition satisfied, acquired Title [Merciless]..."
"That's right! No mercy! Go rot in hell!"
At long last, I killed every single monkey in the area.
With all my targets dead, I finally calm down from my bloodlust.
...
"I did it! I actually did it! I survived! I didn't run away! Huff...huff..."
I am still weak, there will be times I will have to break my promise to live with pride and run away like the coward I am.
But given the chance to escape, I didn't take it, which I am proud of.
To be fair, I couldn't run away at first, but I stood my ground and was willing to fight to the death.
And I definitely got lucky more times than I can be bothered to count.
Yeesh, I am so tired though.
Not physically, since that was restored when I levelled up.
But mentally, I am beat.
I better get ready for bed again.
But before making a new nest, I better check my surroundings for threats.
