last week was such a fun week but i really hope i have a solo this week.
we enter studio A for pyramid

"let's go girls! come on!" Abby says as we run i
"congratulations on a great job in fire and ice, girls i'm going to talk about the pyramid,"
"and i'm gonna start right here with Paige, the arms we talked about that i've been on you the last few weeks you need to be stronger and resist."
"next Brooke, i just want to see you smile even on your wedding day it's like.. i want you out there doing a solo every single competition."
"next Mackenzie, you were in the group dance but i need you to bring the level of your dancing up i want you to be dancing at the level that your sisters were dancing at when they were seven"
"next Chloe, i always want more from you i keep telling you that there's a thousands Chloes out there."
"moving up Nia, what did you think about your routine?"
"i thought i did pretty well." Nia says
"and mom?" Abby asks
"i was pleased i was excited to see her onstage and doing her best in a different type of dance i think you can still get those high energy performances without being stereotypical like musical theatre would be something of interest." Holly says
"alright Maddie, you had a duet with Kayla i think you did the role of the angel pretty well, nice job." Abby says
"and Kayla you're on top of the pyramid because you're acting alone put you there you were fabulous."
i smile
"this weekend we are going too Fire And Ice i'll tell you what there is going to be some talent only the best of the best is invited back to the elite competition..Chloe you will be doing a solo, Kayla you'll be doing a solo and Maddie you also will be doing a solo..everybody is going to be in the group dance you are going to be showgirls"
we all start to cheer
"listen closely cause im going to say this one time the audience should think that you are naked."
you could hear a pin drop
"so much for being conservative." Kelly breaks the silence
us girls start to laugh
shes joking?
"excuse me i don't think i heard that right." Holly says
"now this is a famous routine" Abby continues
"i'm only eleven." Paige pitches in
"i know that's why you can get away with it." Abby nods
i look to Nia
what?!
"this is a famous routine done years gone by and there are two fans and it's literally the fan dance and the dans are what cover your child's body so the bigger the fan the more they cover, one fan goes infront and one fan goes behind." Abby explains to the moms
|Group Rehearsals|
this week the group dance is very precise because of the fans we are going to have but i think the dance will be good..except we were told we are going to be practically naked onstage which i'm scared about
"okay, take a break refresh your memories and i want this perfect for later." Abby says as she dismisses us
"she does not seem happy." i say to Chloe as we walk out
"no she does not." Chloe nods
i head to my ballet private with Emily and we work on technique and some turns
______
"stop." Abby says
we all stop and i have to resist the urge to yawn i'm so tired
"can i have Kayla Maddie and Chloe do it?" Abby says
we do the dance again
"okay, Chloe, Maddie, Kayla, Mackenzie you're dismissed the rest of you girls get a drink and come right back." Abby says
we walk out to the dancers den and get our stuff
"thank god we were allowed out i'm exhausted." i say to Maddie
"i know we haven't even started solos yet." Maddie says as we walk to our mom with Kenzie
"okay girls come on." Mom says as we get in the car
and we go home to finally get some sleep
|Three Days To Competition|
"Kayla, you've lost these past two weeks i want you back to winning and beating your sister got it?" Abby says
"yes." i say
this week my solo is a lyrical and it's called Tomorrow and i'm very excited it's to the song tomorrow by Marisha Wallace
we start learning my solo and it's so pretty
"i want this solo it be better than any dance you've done, you're a national title winner at the moment don't blow it kid." Abby says to me
as i finish the dance and get dismissed
|Group Rehearsals|
"woah!" Abby says as she pulls out the fans
"they look so cool" i beam
Abby hands us all fans and we do the group
"Chloe they're facing the wrong way..there you go." Abby says
"hide..you look over there then over there..i'm hot, im mean, you can't have me, you can't afford me and crotch boom" Abby says
that's not weird.
|Competition Day|
our group dance is up first and our costumes are... horrendous
we head backstage ready to perform and we are all getting looks
"i hate this so much." i say to Chloe
"i know" she says
"please welcome to the stage FANtastic" the announcer says
we enter and do the dance i put on the best facials i could even though i saw the judges faces cringe when they saw us
we finish the dance and we exit
"we aren't winning." Chloe says to me
"definitely not." i say
we head back to the dressing room to get ready for solos
Kaylas solo costume:
with half up half down hair
we head back stage to perform the solos
"good luck" i say to Chloe
"please welcome The Raven" The announcer says
Chloe enters and her solo is so nice she nailed it
she finishes the dance and exits
"you were so good" i say to her
Maddies up next but she enters the opposite side from me so i give her a thumbs up before she goes on
"Please welcome I'm Already There" the announcer says
Maddie enters and she does a really nice job
"i'm so nervous." I whisper
"don't be you're amazing." Chloe says
Maddie finishes and exits on our side
"well done." i say
"thank you, be amazing as always." Maddie says
i nod and i get ready to perform
"Please welcome Tomorrow" The announcer says
i enter and i perform with a lot of emotion the dance i have is so pretty so i want to make this good
i finish and the crowd cheers and i exit
"that was amazing!" Chloe hugs me
|Awards|
"in second place junior award, Chloe with the raven" The announcer says
i side hug Chloe before she goes up and gets her award
now it's time for the mini division
"in second place, Maddie with I'm Already There." the announcer says
i look to Chloe as Maddie gets her award
if i don't place, Abby will kill me.
"in First place mini soloist, Kayla with Tomorrow!" the announcer says
i beam and i get my award
thank god, i've won.
i sit back down and Maddie hugs me
sadly our group didn't place but for obvious reasons
this week was an alright week
A/N
i never ever do these but i had to explain why the chapter is so short obviously this is the episode where the dance is that show girl episode where the costumes are literally them topless so the episodes been taken down and you can't access it anywhere so i had to make this up entirely
the only bits i could get was pyramid and that one group rehearsal where Abby kept the girls late so that's why it's so drama free haha
the next chapter will be MUCH better as i can get the next episode.
