This is just a random story I wrote in my English class.

It is dark. Why can I not see? Am I dead? "Wake up! Wake up!" That voice sounds familiar. Who is it? I woke up in a white room and kept blinking my eyes as it adjusted with the lighting. Looking around I saw my little sister who was hugged and begged me not to leave her. My parents came in and told me what happened.
I stood up from my bed and went to room 307. When I opened the door, I saw him. He was my childhood friend, the one who saved me from nearly getting hit by a truck. I looked at him sleep peacefully; I longed to see his smiled that lightens up my day. I sat down on the chair beside the bed as I thought about our times together. I admired him a lot, I still do. He was brave and always smiled even through the hard times. I used to imagine him being my prince when I was a child. I hoped to be with him until the end, after all, we did promise not to leave each other alone.
"Hey, are you alright?" I looked to my side only to see my childhood friend and crush awake and smiling. I smiled at him and hugged him softly. "When I get out of here, would you be my girlfriend?" he asked. Nodding eagerly as I began to blush, I said "I have always liked you and have been waiting for you to ask". He sat up slowly and leaned towards me. Our gazes met and he kissed me. He was truly my prince.
