While the explosion blew almost everything around the inner town of wall Maria,
Armin and Y/n were lucky enough to get away and hide behind a house.
The female captain gritted her teeth as she kept a tight hold on Armin while a strong and hot wind blew.
The wind then eased off, but the surroundings are not clear anymore as it's being covered by thick smoke.
"Armin?! Are you hurt anywhere?!"
"I-I'm fine, Y/n-san!!"
Y/n sighed in relief, she stood up, helping Armin, too. "We should find your squadmates." Armin saw the suppressed emotions on Y/n's eyes.
She didn't mention Hange's squad.
"Let's go!"
The two set-off, flying mid-air as they make their way to where Eren and the others had gone. "Are you all still alive?!" Y/n felt like a heavy weight on her heart was lifted when she heard Jean's voice. "I'm fine!! What about you?!" This time Y/n heard Connie.
"I-I'm still alive, somehow..." Sasha!
"I can see them, captain!!" Armin and Y/n sighted Eren and the remaining Levi squad, and Mikasa was the first one to see them. "Armin!! Y/n-san...!!"
Y/n and Armin hooked their wires onto the house beside Eren, who's still in his titan form, and then made their way close to the green-eyed titan.
Then they landed on the building's roof while the others were standing around Eren's titan. "Are you two all right?!" Jean asked, filled with worry.
"We're okay." Y/n answered.
"What about squad Hange?!"
Mikasa asked.
"They were near Bertolt..." Y/n said.
She immediately looked away, tightening her hold onto the grips of her maneuvering gear and clenching her jaw. Her e/c-eyes landed on the colossal titan, the 60-meter tall titan moved as he tried to stand on his own two feet. "...Could we be..." Jean spoke.
Him and everyone else are now also staring at standing the colossal titan.
"...the only ones...who survived?"
Y/n's eyes widened when the colossal titan had begun smashing the houses around him. Bertolt...you damn brat!
The houses were put on fire and even thrown at the sky. "H-hey....those houses...they're falling from the sky." Connie said, eyes wide-open while he watches houses falling from the sky.
"All those homes...up so high...one of then might be yours, Eren...tell me, how does it feel...to have your own roof above your head again?!AHAHAHA!" Connie laughed out loud, though Y/n isn't sure if he really is having fun with his own joke.
"Sasha, could you hurt Connie for us?" Jean said.
Sasha only nodded, she looked at Connie and bonked his head using her spear.
"It doesn't seem to know our position." Mikasa mumbled.
"Yeah...it's trying to spread flaming wreckage everywhere. It wants to turn Shiganshina...into a sea of fire."
Armin said.
Eren gritted his teeth as he glared at the colossal titan. So now...that bastard...has set fire...to my town!
"Armin, what should we do? I'm sorry, but I'm losing strategy here on what we should do." Y/n spoke, the blond-boy and the others stared at her with surprise. "My orders earlier led Hange and her squad to death. I..."
The h/c-haired woman shut her eyes.
"I can't do the same to you brats!"
"Captain...Hanji-san is...?!" --
"Did they really all just die in that blast?!"
Sasha and Connie, the twins said as they're about to break down anytime.
"We don't know that yet. But Bertolt isn't going to give us time to go and save them." Mikasa spoke, Y/n's eyes widened upon realizing that just now.
Right...I don't have to believe that Hange, Moblit and their team were annihilated. "For now, we take orders..." Y/n let out a heavy sigh.
She glanced at Armin.
The blond-boy obviously doesn't know what to do, either. "Jean!!"
Jean was taken aback, as well as the others. Y/n stared straight into the young man's small brown-eyes. "I'm letting you take the lead for now. Both Armin and I will think of what should be done next. For now, I want you to think of how we can take down that thing." Y/n said, pointing at Bertolt.
The young man blinked twice.
"I..."
"Listen, Kirstein. If I were to decide right now. I would suggest for all of us to begin retreating . We'll meet with Erwin's group and ask for his order. We'll continue our original plan of fighting a war of attrition against the colossal titan. We'll keep trying to make him use his titan's strength...until our main target appears. His size won't be able to make it over the wall. So we just have to trap him inside this cage until he exhausts himself." Y/n explained.
Jean immediately realized all the wrongs in Y/n's plan, which made him speak his mind. "Hold on, captain. We can't let Bertolt get near the wall where the commander's group is..."
Y/n raised a brow. "Wha..."
"He's torching everything around him! Just because there's a wall between us and the horses on the other side, that doesn't mean they're safe. We still share the same sky!"
The female captain had a ghost of a smile on her lips. She knows her plan was full of holes, but she chose to say it out loud for Jean to take the lead.
"In other words, if the fire spreads to the buildings inside the wall, we'll have more than dead horses to worry about...the commander's group will be sandwiched between the beast titan to their front and flames to their rear. Yes, a war of attrition is the best way to defeat the colossal titan...but we're limited, too. By the amount of gas in our maneuvering gear. We can't depend on time to save us..."
Y/n only nods her head.
Staring back at the colossal titan, who's still continuous in putting the houses around him in burning fire.
"So...then-does that mean we have to defeat...the colossal titan right now?!" Armin asked. "Relying on no one...but ourselves?" Everyone felt anxious.
How can they even manage that?
"Yeah. No shit, Armin." Y/n mumbled.
"Eek! C-captain, the fire's getting close!" Connie said.
"C'mon, captain! We need orders!!" Sasha said.
Y/n sighed heavily. She looked back at Jean. "Take over for me and Armin, Jean. I don't know what to do right now. We're in this mess to begin with because I misread Bertolt earlier. You're more cut out for this, Kirstein."
The young man gritted his teeth.
"The river!! We'll move to the river!! Everyone get on Eren!! Conserve your gas!!" The young man ordered.
Y/n and the Levi squad rode on Eren's back. "At some point, we'll have to get the colossal titan to chase after us. But until then, Eren, try not to let him find you." Eren only nodded to respond to Jean. The young man then looked at
Y/n and Armin.
"Captain...Armin...I may be able to get a good read on this situation...but I can't think of any sort of plan to get us out of it. In the end, I'm going to have to count on you two."
Y/n nod, while Armin kept quiet, still feeling anxious. "I understand. Thank you. Let's get moving, Eren!" Y/n said.

Erwin's brows are furrowed while he watches the colossal titan setting the inner town of wall Maria on flames.
His eyes met the colossal titan's gaze, but not even a slight of fear can be seen on his eyes nor on his face.
The commander looked at the other side. "So now, what? Is it all...going according to your plan, beast titan?"

Levi wiped the sweat on his chin, right at the moment he landed on a roof. He's exhausted from flying around and annihilating multiple two-three-to-four meter class titans.
"This side's mopped up. There's just the small ones ahead of us left." Levi glanced at Klaus who landed on the house beside the house he's standing at. Both of them stared at the beast titan who's only sitting pretty from afar while the taller titans kept behaving around him. "But how are we supposed to take down the beast titan? He's just sitting still over there. He hasn't even made a move."
Levi changed his blades.
"Yeah...seems like we have a coward. Well, I guess that thing never had any balls to begin with." Levi said, glaring at the calm beast titan.
"You stay back behind and rest!! We'll take care of the small ones for now!!"
Klaus then left with his squad.
Levi looked back at the other side, but all he can see is a tall and thick smoke.
"Dammit..." That explosion just now... what's happening to them over there?
The beast threw the barrel with Bertolt inside over there...but it didn't explode immediately. So were Hange and the others able to get out of the way? In any case, I need to get over there soon-
Levi's eyes widened when his eyes caught rocks passing by him. He immediately bent down, crossing his arms over himself. The rocks smashed onto the building around him, even at the building where he is.
"Frontal bombardment!! Troops, take cover!!" Erwin yelled out loud.
Levi immediately moved away from his place, eyes wide-open as he looked at his comrades who just left earlier.
"Dammit!! Everyone-!"
But to his horror, all he can see is a wind painted with a faint color of red.
The blood of his comrades mixed onto the wind from the flying rocks.
Levi immediately hid when other incoming rocks were coming for them. The houses were again hit, making the surroundings in chaos.
Erwin watched the scene with wide-eyes.
It's disturbing enough to see his comrades get eaten, but to see his comrades get brutally smashed by rocks is something he'll forever be guilty of.
"Wh-what's that sound? Explosions?!"
Floch asked, already tearing up.
"Do our enemies have cannons or something?!"
"If they do, they must have a hundred of them!"
"Calm down, all of you!! You'll make the horses panic!!" Marlowe said.
The bowl-cut guy sighted their captain coming, surprising him.
"Captain Levi!!"
"The titan is throwing stones at us!! All of you, take the horses and retreat toward the wall!!" The captain said.
"Yes, sir!" Marlowe is the only one in his right mind to answer Levi.
"Hurry!! Get to cover!!"
The new recruits began to move, evacuating themselves and their horses. "Aaaagh!" Floch fell on his knees when other stones were thrown to them, the guy covered his ears, shouting and even crying.
"Hey, stand up!!"
Levi grabbed the back of his jacket.
"You want to die here?!"
"Commander!!"
Levi paused the moment he heard Marlowe called Erwin's rank, he let go of Floch then looked back at Erwin.
"How's the situation?"
"Could not be worse. Most of the houses ahead of us have been blown to bits by those stones. If he keeps this up, this place will be leveled in no time. We won't have anywhere to hide." The commander stated.
"Couldn't we escape to the other side of the wall?" Levi asked.
"No...the colossal titan is closing in on us from there. Setting fire to everything around him, too. Even if the soldiers could use the wall to avoid the stones, we'd have to leave the horses behind. If we retreat here, we lose all hope of victory."
"What happened to Hange squad? Is Eren alive?" Levi asked.
"...I don't know. But most of them seem to have been hit by that blast... we've taken massive losses. The beast titan must have been controlling the smaller titans to herd all of our soldiers to one forward location. Because of that, squads Dirk, Marlene, Klaus, who were fighting those smaller titans...seem to have been wiped out by the earlier bombardment. In other words, the surviving forces within the walls..." Erwin looked at the new recruits who all now looked terrified by what he reported. "...are you survey corps recruits...captain Levi...and me." Erwin seriously said.
Another rocks were thrown, causing the houses around them to be hit and the new recruits all yelled out of fear.
"EEEEK!"
"AAAAGH!"
"We're done for!!"
Erwin and Levi faced each other.
"Erwin..."
"It's all over!!"
"...Do you have..."
"Why did I have to come here...?"
"...some kind of plan?"
Erwin looked away.
His eyes diverted to the new recruits.
The two men were interrupted when they heard a loud noise from above the wall. They looked up and were surprised to see Eren on top of the wall. "Hey...is that...Eren?' Levi asked.
"He must have been thrown...all the way to the top of the wall...by that thing," Levi said.
Erwin felt his heart lighten.
Then...there's a big chance that Y/n is still alive...
"Looks like the beast has us in its sights. This place is about to turn into a honey-comb. Erwin...if you tell me there's no way left for us to fight back...I'll start preparing for defeat."
The commander looked at Levi.
"Eren's sprawled over there, right? Go wake him up. You and some of the others get on him and run. That way we'll have at least a few survivors."
The two men then looked at the new recruits. Marlowe is distressed since Floch has been throwing a tantrum. One horse escaped because of his crying. "The recruits and survivors from Hange's squad can scatter on horses all at once and try to head home...how does that sound? With them acting as bait, you and the others on Eren will be able to escape."
"And what are you going to do, Levi?" Erwin asked
"I'll deal with the beast. I'll lead him away."
"No. You can't even get close to him."
"Probably not. But...if you and Eren make it back alive, there's still hope. Isn't that the kind of situation we're in now? This is a major defeat. Honestly...I'm not expecting anyone to make it home alive at this point."
"True. If we don't have any way of fighting back."
Levi's brows creased, until his brow shot-up upon realizing what Erwin just said. He looked at the blond-man.
"...Do you have one?"
"...Yes."
The raven-haired man frowned.
"...Why didn't you tell me earlier? Why didn't you put that ugly mouth of yoyrs to work sooner and say something?" Levi said, insultingly.
Erwin only ignored his insult.
"...If this plan goes well...you may be able to defeat that beast. But only if we sacrifice the lives...of all the recruits here, as well as mine."
Levi's eyes widened a bit. Huh?
"You're absolutely right. No matter what we do, most of us will surely die. In fact, it's most likely that we will all be wiped out. So our only choice is to assume we are all expendable and work from there. We'd have to ask these young people to give up their lives. You'd need the skills of a first-rate con man to come up with a reason that is convincing. So I doubt any of them would charge unless I was leading the way. Which would mean I'd be the very first to die."
Levi remained staring at the new recruits, almost all of the new recruits were crying. There's someone who already vomited out of fear.
"Without ever learning...what was in that basement." Levi's eyes widened.
He looked at Erwin with disbelief.
"...Huh?"
The commander let out a sigh as he made his way towards a huge box.
Erwin kept his head down, staring at the ground. Levi stood in front of him, still shocked by what he just heard. "I just...want to go...to that basement...everything I have done, I did thinking that this day would come. That someday...I would be able to check my answers. There were so many times that I thought it would be easier to just die. But then...that dream I shared with my father would flash through my head."
Erwin stared at his hand. "And now...those answers are close enough to reach out and grab...they are right there."
The blond-man put his hand down, keeping his stare at the ground.
"But, Levi. Can you see them? All of our comrades...? Our comrades are watching us. They want to know what we will do with the hearts they dedicated to our cause. Because they may be gone, but their fight isn't over. Is it all...nothing more than....my own childish delusion...?"
Levi kept quiet for a moment, staring at Erwin. Now he knows. Why Erwin joined the survey corps and why he was able to come this far. Now he knows what Y/n knew from the very start. Erwin's flaw, his selfishness and his dreams that caused a lot of deaths.
Erwin's dreams that Y/n supported.
Erwin's dreams that gave pain to Y/n.
Erwin's dreams that led them to this point.
Erwin's dreams that only a few believed in.
And Erwin's dreams that...
...will be the blond-man's death.
Levi kneeled on one knee in front of Erwin. "You've fought a good fight. We'ce only come this far thanks to you." Erwin stared at Levi. "I'm making the choice." The raven-haired male glared at the commander.
"Give up on your dreams and die for us. Lead the recruits straight into hell. And I'll take down...the beast titan."
Erwin's eyes softened as he looked down. His lips slowly turned up into a genuine smile. "Levi, thank you."

The beast titan was surprised when he saw soldiers approaching where he was. He picked up a rock and crashed it with his hands.
"Charge!!"
Erwin yelled, he's in the front as always. Because he's the leader and he will always be.
"Now!! Fire!!"
The commander and the new recruits fired signal flares onto the sky, then separated into three groups.
Erwin gritted his teeth seeing the beast titan had threw rocks towards them. "It's coming!! Move!!"
"I will now announce our final operation!! Troops to attention!!"
"All units present will now perform a mounted charge! Our enemy is the beast titan! Obviously, this will make us a perfect target for the enemy!! We will wait for the enemy to begin throwing rocks, then all fire signal flares at once! We'll do everything we can to reduce the accuracy of those rocks to whatever extent possible! While we act as a diversion, captain Levi will go to kill the beast titan! That is all!"
Levi used the wall to hook his wires onto and flew towards the tall titans surrounding the beast titan.
He clenched his jaw as he watched his comrades get hit by the rocks.
I'm sorry...
"Levi, can you promise me one more thing?"
"What is it this time?"
"Take care of Y/n for me."
I'm sorry, Y/n...
"It doesn't make a single difference. No matter what dreams or hopes you may have...no matter what kind of blissful life you've lived until now...what happens to your body when it gets crushed by a rock...is the same. Everyone dies sooner or later. Does that mean all life is meaningless? Was thw fact that you were ever born meaningless from the start? Would yoy say the same to your dead comrades? Were those soldiers' lives... meaningless? No they weren't! And our fight gives meaning to those soldiers' lives! Those brave fallen men and women!! Those poor fallen men and women!! The only ones who can remember them...are us, the living! So we will die here...and trust the meaning of our lives to the next generation!! That is the sole way...we can rebel against this cruel world!!"
Erwin's grip on his horse tightened while he stared at the rock coming his way.
"My soldiers rage!! My soldiers scream!! My soldiers!! Fight!!"
A groan escaped Erwin's lips when the rock caught his stomach, his horse was also hit on the face and legs.
The blond-man lost balance, his hold onto his horse's reins loosened. Blue-eyed looked forward as he grit his teeth and glared at the beast titan.
"Always come back to me alive..."
Erwin fell off from his horse, shocking the recruits who were following his lead. He fell on his stomach on the ground, breathing heavy and ragged. Eyes drooping low.

"Huh?"
Y/n felt shivers down her spine when he suddenly heard Erwin's voice inside her mind. She looked back at the wall, feeling her heartbeat racing fast and hearing it beating loud.
Erwin...
"How are we...supposed to take him down?"
The female captain was interrupted from her thoughts, she looked at the Levi squad. Sasha, Connie, Mikasa and her are all injured from trying to take down the colossal titan. Eren is unconscious on top of the wall after being thrown by the colossal titan.
"Hey. Armin?"
Y/n called the blond-boy.
Armin has been staring at the colossal titan for a while now. "I think our only choice now is to bet everything on getting Eren to safety." Armin only stared at the colossal titan, making
Y/n to feel annoyed. "Oi, Arlert! Are you listening to me?!" Y/n exclaimed.
"...He's skinnier." Armin finally spoke.
"What?" Y/n asked.
"The colossal titan. He's gotten...a little skinnier." Armin said.
Mikasa, Jean and Y/n stared at the colossal titan. Y/n was too tired to even listen to Armin's explanation about the colossal titan, and why he is skinnier. And her mind keeps drifting off to Erwin who she thinks is doing just fine on the other side.
"You work to withdraw Reiner away! Eren I will defeat the colossal titan!"
Y/n snapped out of her thoughts.
"Huh?"
"Y/n is coming with us, while the rest of you will defeat the armored titan with your remaining thunder spears."
The female captain looked at the armored titan, who would've thought that Reiner was still alive even after getting caught into the explosion of the colossal titan. "Roger that..."
Armin and Y/n left then, while Mikasa and Jean made their way to Connie and Sasha to draw their plan on how they could take down Reiner.
Y/n landed right on top of the chest
of Eren's titan, the h/c-haired woman drew her blades then immediately stabbed Eren's neck, causing his titan to jolt up. Y/n held onto Eren while Armin stayed beside her.
"Eren! Wake up!" Armin yelled.
"You're going to see the ocean!"
The two were able to wake Eren up, Armin explained his plan to the two, and it shocked Y/n. It's obvious what the plan is...Armin is going to sacrifice himself. "I came up with this plan myself. But...whether it'll work or bot is going to depend on how much I can take. Sorry, Eren, but...I can't die until I see the ocean first." Armin smiled.
Y/n and Eren only stared at Armin.
"So...I'm gonna stop before things get really bad...and you'll need to handle the rest, okay? B-because, you know... I...I've never been a hero. Understand, Eren? Didn't we promise we'd go to the ocean together? Have I ever lied to you, Eren?"
The two weren' able to say anything.
Armin flew off, making his way to the wall. Y/n gritted her teeth as glared at the blond-boy.
"Oi, Eren. I'm higher in rank than you two." Eren was quite taken aback.
Huh what does that...
"That brat...making all of this dramatic when he thinks he can die so easily...fuck that. I'm not letting anyone of you to die. So Eren, you should hurry up to kill Bertolt and I will save your ocean-addicted friend before he kills himself facing this thing."
Y/n landed on the wall just beside Eren. She and Armin were surprised when the green-eyed titan lost balance and fell off the wall.
"EREN!!" Y/n yelled.
"Captain! It's time!"
The female captain and the blond-boy flew off the wall before the colossal titan could smash his hand towards them. Armin faced Armin head-on, while Y/n made her way down to get Eren.
Y/n slid onto the ground, her wires still hooked onto the wall. She then ran towards Eren's titan body who secretly moved while Bertolt is busy with Armin. The female captain stayed back as she watched Eren hardened his titan body on the broken hole of the inner gate.
A small gasp escaped Y/n's lips when she saw the colossal titan had released a steaming hot wind to Armin.
"EREN! HURRY UP!!"
The h/c-haired woman hooked her wires onto the wall and jumped off as she made her way behind Eren's titan. She used all her strength to break the back of his titan's nape.
Eren popped out of his nape as soon as Y/n broke his nape. "Go!"
Y/n watched as the green-eyed boy quietly made his way up using his maneuvering gear, Eren flew secretly behind the colossal titan while Y/n made her way to the front of the colossal titan. She used the wall to climb up. Her eyes widened when she saw Armin still holding onto the front by enduring the burning steam.
"YOU IDIOT!"
The female captain glared at the colossal titan, Bertolt was in horror as he watched Y/n fearlessly make her way towards him. "You've fought a good fight, Bertolt." The colossal titan vessel was in shock when his vision turned black. A gasp left his mouth when he felt his nape was sliced off.
"CAPTAIN!! NOT YET!!"
Y/n grabbed Armin by the waist.
She cut off his wires, letting them both fall mid-air, before they even fell onto the ground, she already hooked her wires onto the wall.
"Don't break a promise, Armin!!"
Armin stared at Y/n with a shocked look. Eyes wide-open and teary, his skin is red, a sign that he was almost burnt to death if Y/n hadn't come.
"FULFILL YOUR PROMISE TO EREN!"
The blond-boy only stared at Y/n, watching how tears rolled down to her cheeks. "Dying is not always the answer goddammit..." Y/n mumbled.
She looked away and chose to focus her eyes on the colossal titan.
"Seems like you've succeeded."
Y/n sighed in relief as she watched the colossal titan losing balance.
She and Armin got a glimpse of Eren flying mid-air, carrying an unconscious Bertolt.
"I'm sorry, captain..."
The h/c-haired woman looked at Armin. "Save that for later. Wait for Eren here. I'll help the others in taking down the armored titan."
Y/n flew off, she only has a little gas left but she'll make full use of it just to get to the others and help them in taking down their last enemy.
Her eyes widened when she saw Connie carrying an unconscious Connie while Jean was already tired and couldn't move in his place. Mikasa is the only one left to fight off Reiner.
"Get out of my way, Y/n!!"
Y/n stiffened on her place when she heard a familiar voice, she looked back and was in disbelief, seeing her best friend alive and well. "Hange!"
She immediately moved to the side, letting Hange pass through.
"You all...did a good job!!"
Hange made her way to the armored titan. She released her last thunder spear onto the armored titan's jaw.
It exploded and forcefully opened the armored titan's mouth.
"Hange-san!!"
"Now!! Mikasa!!"
Mikasa groaned as she flew towards the armored titan. She glared at Reiner as she pointed her thunder spears to the inside of Reiner's mouth.
"Reiner. C'mon out." Mikasa said.
Y/n immediately rushed to the armored titan's back, but still kept a distance. "Do it, Mikasa!!"
The raven-haired lady released her thunder spears to the armored titan's mouth. It exploded and blew Reiner off from his titan's nape. "Reiner..."
Y/n's eyes darkened as she swung her blades towards Reiner, cutting off his arms and legs. "It's over, Reiner."

Mikasa had patched up Jean's injury, while Hange and Y/n tied up Reiner even when he couldn't move since he doesn't have all his arms and legs.
They tried interrogating the brawny male, but he only kept his mouth shut. "I'll finish him off. It's dangerous to keep him alive." Y/n coldly said.
The female captain drew her last pair of blades out. She gritted her teeth as she pushed it towards Reiner's neck, making the brawny male cough up blood. "...Y/n-san, please wait!!"
Y/n raised a brow as she looked back at Jean. "Are you sure about this? Isn't it possible...that we could take his power from him?" Jean asked.
The female captain then realized.
The titan serum.
She has it with her.
"I don't think the conditions have been met. We don't know where Levi or any of the others are. And I don't think we have the time to check on them. There's just no way to gauge how much strength these guys have left in them. I could send his head flying and I still wouldn't let my guard down." Y/n said, glaring back at Reiner. She doesn't feel any more remorse towards Reiner, after all that loss...
Moblit...died because of them.
Hange lost one of her eyes because of them...
Her comrades died because of them.
"That's...not like you, Y/n-san."
Y/n only stared at Reiner.
"If you're content with leaving things unknown...how can we ever expect to defeat the titans?" Jean said.
Mikasa and Hange were surprised by what the young man had just said.
"Jean..." Mikasa mumbled.
"When will we ever know enough...to face our enemies?" Jean asked.
Y/n bit her lower lip, eyes now glossy with tears. She lowered her blade down and sighed heavily. "Who among you has enough gas left?"
"I still have a few." Mikasa answered
"Is it enough to get to Eren and Armin? I left those two with Bertolt."
"I'm sure I can, captain."

Y/n stood up, letting out a sigh.
She looked at the case she's holding.
Reiner said that it's a letter from Ymir and that they should give it to Historia. So they took Ymir to their hometown? What will happen to her?
"I'm going to check on Connie and Sasha." Hange spoke, the brunette tapped Y/n's shoulder then left.
Y/n stared at nowhere, still thinking to herself. "...Captain. I..." The female captain side-eyed Jean who spoke.
"This was my choice, Jean. You only provided me with data." Y/n cut off the young man. Jean kept his head down.
Y/n roamed her eyes around. "The question is, who?" She mumbled.
"Huh?"
"Who are we turning into a titan? There's Sasha, who's injured, but not critically." The h/c-haired woman placed her hand on her chest where she had been keeping the titan serum.
"Or...is there a better candidate?"

Mikasa has a terrified look on her face, eyes wide-open staring at their commander lying down and is on the verge of death. "He's still breathing!"
Armin looked at Mikasa, blue-eyes glossy with tears. Fear is evident on the blond-boy's face. "Mikasa! Quick!"
"Call Y/n-san!" Armin said.
Armin is not the only person around, even Levi, Floch and Eren are also at the scene. It was Floch who brought Erwin, while Levi came from chasing the beast titan and quadrupedal titan.
The raven-haired lady gulped, nodding her head. "R-right...!"
Mikasa immediately took out her signal flare from her pocket, then loaded it with a red signal color.

Y/n's brows shot-up when she saw the red signal flare fired on the sky.
"Someone needs the titan serum-"
"Y/N-SAN!!"
The female captain looked back.
Her eyes widened as she saw the quadrupedal titan rushing towards her with its mouth wide-open.
Jean immediately hooked his wires onto a wall, he flew towards Y/n and grabbed her as they moved away.

The two of them fell on the ground.
Y/n immediately stood up, blocking Jean. She tightened her hold on her blades, glaring at the quadrupedal titan who just snatched Reiner away.

Her brows shot-up when she met the gaze of a blond-man with beard, he's riding on the back of the quadrupedal titan. Is he...that piece of shit monkey?

Then...the battle on the other side is over! Y/n gritted her teeth as she let the quadrupedal titan escape with the beast titan's vessel and armored titan's vessel. "Y/n They took Reiner!!" Hange yelled, Connie's with her now.
"Dammit!" The brunette grumbled.
Connie and Hange were about to chase the quadrupedal titan, but Y/n stopped them. "Hange! Connie! No need." The two looked at the woman with disbelief. "You barely have any gas left. You'll just get yourself killed."
Hange let out a heavy sigh.
They know that what Y/n said is true.
