Naofumi Kogure is my name, but most people just refer to me as the crybaby.

But today, someone else is taking the 'honour' of being mocked by Natsume.
Natsume: "So the creep is not coming again, huh?"
Natsume asked out loud.
Rihoko has stopped attending school for a few days now and everyone is talking behind her back.
Natsume: "With how she looks, maybe she should just stay home forever, am I right or am I right?"
Natsume asked again, this time directing his attention to me.
Not again, why do I have to be his advocate anyway?
"Um, yeah, sure."
I answered meekly.
???: "She has a name, you know?! It's Shouko Negishi!"
Then out of nowhere, Sasajima spoke out loud.
Sasajima: "And Kogure! You should really start standing up for yourself as well!"
Natsume: "What's this? Are you secretly Rihoko's boyfriend or something?"
Natsume asked Sasajima mockingly.
Sasajima: "Bullying is bullying! I won't stand for this and neither should anyone here!"
Sasajima replied sternly, addressing everyone in the classroom.
Natsume: "What are you gonna do about it? Punch me and get into trouble, little ogre?"
Natsume taunts Sasajima, but he just stares at him coldly.
Sasajima has a violent past of beating up would-be bullies and getting into trouble for it.
Ever since details about his history spreaded through rumours, both Natsume and Shinohara have made fun of him for being immature.
The irony seems to be lost on them.
Tagawa: "Natsume! Stop acting like an immature brat!"
Hasebe: "Sasajima's right, calling people by bad nicknames is wrong."
Those two, along with Sakurazaki who's not here right now, are always there to reel Natsume in when he goes too far.
Natsume looks at me, no doubt looking for backup.

I turn away from Natsume, refusing to give my support.
I am so angry with him, I am shedding tears from the rage.

So, something is going on with Rihoko.
Like, she hasn't come to school for a few days now.
Miss Oka and Rep are working hard to reach out to her.
And I am actually starting to worry about her wellbeing myself.

And during lunch, Ringleader has been stopping by to insult me since Rihoko isn't there to scare people off.

The poor guy has been oppressed into becoming Showoff's minion.
My condolences my fellow wimp, but I am more glad it's not me who is being oppressed than motivated to help you out of this.

Then all of the sudden, Kyouya spoke up.

He addressed Crybaby as well.

Showoff asked with a mocking tone.

Actually, I am more like a tsundere, embarrassing as it is to admit.

Kyouya then addressed everyone in the room.
Right, he just has a strong sense of justice, maybe a bit violent, but his heart is in the right place, if only the same can be said for me.

Are you dumb? I am pretty sure he can beat you up easily despite being smaller than you.
I mean, he has plenty of experience fighting bullies growing up.
And from what I have seen of him playing that MMO, he has naturally good instincts for combat.
Not that it necessarily applies to real life but still.
In fact, I am pretty sure he is considering punching you in the face while sizing you up.

Gung-ho finally stepped in to stop Showoff.
Shame, I kind of want to see Kyouya punch Showoff.

And Moonie scolded Showoff as well.
Honestly, I don't see what good they saw in him in the first place.
I know they play D&D together a lot, but from what Moonie told me, Showoff is constantly trying to steal the spotlight from other players.
Why anyone sees him as a friend at all in the first place is beyond me.
Showoff looks towards Crybaby, probably hoping for some backup from his minion.
But Crybaby turns away.
He's mad, but he is also crying.
Not very manly, but he did the right thing, I can respect that.
I guess Kyouya just inspired him to rebel.
Same with raising the standard, causing Moonie and Gung-ho to actually scold Showoff for his nonsense, hopefully that will apply to Sidekick too.
Seriously, how much cooler can Kyouya get?
Actually, I just remember a private conversation I had with Kyouya online.
He said he wanted to do something about the injustices at school, and I told him to follow his heart, corny line I know.
I only came up with that because it would be awkward if I didn't respond, but I didn't expect him to actually listen to me and act on it.
And yeah, maybe I should stop calling Rihoko 'Rihoko' too.

Wow, I am reminded once again of how bad I am at remembering names.
I really do suck at this whole socialising thing that is expected of you from society.
